The Explorers of the Universe

The Explorers of the Universe
Secrets Down

During the class break, Asteria and Viana spent the entire time in the school library. They look for history books and old documents.

Asteria and Viana sat at the same table, facing each other. Asteria piled up dozens of fairly thick history books and some obsolete reports or documents. The two of them opened the pages of the book quickly.

Their eyes scanned every page. Look for words, headings, paragraphs, or anything related to the past history of the kingdom. Hoping to find a keyword that could lead them to an explanation of the events of the attack and the isolation of this kingdom.

The library at rest that day was quiet. There was only Asteria, Viana, a first-rate disciple, and a library guard.

“This kingdom does cover all of its past history. Not a single book and archive wrote the events of the Sky Force raid!” Asteria.

“Sttt, don't be hard! It will sound like people.” Viana reminded in a low voice.

Asteria closed the book and thought. Looking for a way to discover the mystery of the history of his country. Meanwhile, Viana remained patiently open the pages of the book.

“You are reading a book or just want to make this library messy?” a woman in her 30s stands near Viana and Asteria.

Asteria and Viana looked up. Oops!

They stared at the face of a library guard who was already standing near his desk. Then realize the archives and books they carry have been messy on the table.

“We are studying history, Mom. We have a task for tomorrow about history,” Viana said. Meanwhile Asteria tidied up the books on the table. Stacking it into one.

The library guard did not answer. Asteria again sat quietly after the table returned neatly.

“So you guys talked about the Sky Force. Right?” ask the library guard.

Viana looked at Asteria with a blaming look. As if to say, because of you, anyway!

Asteria and Viana had no idea what to answer.

“Follow me,” said the library keeper who immediately left.

Asteria and Viana only went along with the anxiety that they would be brought to the Royal Order. Or the notoriously stiff library guards would scold them to stop searching for information regarding the Sky Troop and the history of past kingdoms.

The librarian named Surah took them to his private workspace, which is still in the library. The enclosed room was about 4 by 5 square meters, with one window facing the hill..

Mrs Surah sat down. Asteria and Viana just stood facing the table of Bu Surah.

“Why are you talking about the Sky Forces? Is there something you're looking for?” Surah asked.

Asteria doesn't know what to make excuses for. Answering honestly is the same as giving an opportunity to be scolded by Bu Surah. He believes Bu Surah is part of the closing circle of history by the kingdom. And so did Viana.

“You don't know or fear?” Bu Surah's eyes are sharp. Making Asteria and Viana feel interrogated.

“We're just curious. Is it true that the Sky Force exists, and have they ever attacked the planet?” viana replied with fear, while giving relief. Whatever happens, he is ready to accept it.

“I accidentally heard your sentence,” Bu Surah said to Asteria. “But if indeed you want to prove the existence of the Sky Force. Where'd you guys hear about them?”

“That means they have ever existed?” Asteria discovered the existence of the Sky Force from the words of Bu Surah.

“Where did you guys know about them?” Mrs Surah remained on her unanswered question.

Hearing Bu Surah's pressing voice made Viana even more depressed. While Asteria increasingly felt he could turn around and press Bu Surah.

Asteria turned her head and regretted Viana's honest answer. Why is it so easily cornered?

“Good. You should have replied from earlier.” Bu Surah suspects that Viana's grandmother got a story from her father or grandfather who had been part of the kingdom.

“I will tell you more information about the events of the attack on Planet Sankz and the closure of the protective wall of this country from where you can explain what your purpose is to dig into history.” The voice of Surah began to decline.

The words of Bu Surah gave new questions to Asteria and Viana. But from those words there is also a chance they will get a clearer clue.

“I'll explain, Mom,” says Asteria. “To be honest it all started with my curiosity. I'd love to explore the world behind those sealed walls. What is the outside world like? Is there human life there? How are the sea beasts in the vast ocean, what are they like? I want to go explore it. I was also curious about that translucent but physically impenetrable wall. How to open it?”

Asteria. He was waiting for a response from Ms Surah, but there was no comment.

Finally, Asteria continued. “I expressed my curiosity to Viana. Viana took me to her grandmother who knew little from her grandfather. But because everything is not clear and full of mystery we find out in the library. Perhaps there is an archive that has written it.”

Surah looked at Asteria. “I've guessed there will definitely be people who are curious and find out all that. And now that person is present.”

Mrs Surah stood up. Walk towards the bookshelves that may be private collections or royal collections that others rarely have. “My family keeps this library hereditary. We protect the archives that should not be leaked to the people, even many soldiers do not know it,” said Bu Surah as he walked.

Ms. Surah took out a pile of old papers tied with cloth. The papers are not books. Only old papers were put together so as not to splatter.

“Everything in this room is strictly confidential. I got stories and book legacies and explanations from my mother who used to keep this library. And I'll pass it on to my son when he's an adult. So next. All of these books must be passed down in one generation that is trustworthy.”

Surah sat down and put the book down.

“Today I'm going to break that hereditary rule. But I have to make sure, whether you really deserve all these explanations or not. The sins of my transgressions must be paid for with a pure and good cause from you. Is that your only goal?” Bu Surah looked back at Asteria and Viana alternately.

“Is it a better destination?” Viana asked in mutter. Confused and doubtful.

“If there is indeed a government secret from the people, it means there are really dangerous, important, and very valuable. If it concerns the safety of the people and the government, I am ready to take care of it. If it's a problem to be solved, I'm ready to solve it,” Asteria said with confidence as well as giving a promise.

“You sure?” ask Mrs Surah.

“Yes, I'm sure. Very sure!” Asteria resolute.

Surah's mom looked at Viana. Search answers.

Viana who felt trapped in an unwanted condition and completely disinterested felt Asteria had thrown her into a long trouble. And his intuition said the problem would be longer.

“Yes, I am willing as Asteria said,” Viana replied in the end.

“Good. I'll explain everything!” Mrs Surah took a breath. “You don't want to sit?”

Viana and Asteria were sitting on chairs that they had not dared to sit on since they had arrived.

Bu Surah begins the story that for hundreds of years was kept secret to the people.
