The Explorers of the Universe
Surviving on the Planet Mordoc

Asteria walked among the lush trees towering high. The trees in the forest where he walked had a high and large size. Asteria are like rabbits that walk in the forest, looking small.

Asteria arrived at Mordoc Planet two hours ago. He set foot in a forest that was still very awake. The ground is dead leaves and nails that show this forest is rarely touched by human feet.

Fungi grow fresh on the surface of fallen tree logs and dead roots. The air was very cool and the sun that broke through between the gaps of the leaves became the light that illuminated the darkness of this closed forest.

The petition from King Luid for his quest on Planet Mordoc is just a message that he must get a weapon inside a lake on the planet. So far Asteria has not found any lake.

Actually, Asteria could explore the forest with the ability to fly given by King Luid. But he chose to keep going because the energy needed to float was high enough. While Asteria has not received food intake since departing from Planet Sankz.

Asteria must find a source of food to fill its stomach. He examined some mushrooms that might be edible. But during her life Asteria had never studied the types of edible and inedible mushrooms, and how to distinguish poisonous or non-toxic mushrooms. Eating mushrooms carelessly will only be at risk of poisoning. And if he died from fungal poisoning, it would just be ridiculous.

Asteria decided not to take any mushrooms. His father, while teaching the technique of living in the forest, had never taught him to look for mushrooms.

Asteria continued her search for food. The great search for tools of war must be supported by enough food, Asteria thought. “Hutan of this size is impossible if it does not provide edible fruit and animals, its inner”.

Asteria continued to explore that vast forest. For a moment it stopped. He heard that there was a destructive step among the dense foliage. Asteria approached slowly to see what or who was behind it.

When Asteria could see through the leaves, she saw a pair of deer mating. The male piglet swipes his head on the neck and body of the female deer. Or maybe the other way around. Asteria can't blow up mana and mana females.

Until then the peak of mating is underway, Asteria just know where the male and which female. A male climbs half of the female's body from behind. The bushel slightly shook briefly like being hit by an electric shock as if he was bumping the female.

Asteria that witnessed it were made inflamed and tense. Actually he really wanted to hit one of the pots to be used as food. But he could not ruin the happiness of two animals who were celebrating his love party. On the other hand, the scene was extremely rare for him. He had never seen a love scene before. At sea, he never saw a fish making love in front of him. Generally the fish swim in groups, maybe at such times the fish celebrate love.

The marriage of two kancil is over. Asteria picked up a piece of wood lying on the ground. He prepared to hit one of the deer and make him faint. For this action Asteria used her floating ability.

Asteria drifted and approached slowly from the air. When it was close enough, it hit the head of the male deer and knocked him down. His body was convulsing and could not remain silent. Meanwhile, the female deer ran in the rain through the forest and leaves. He deliberately chose the male deer, so that the female deer can give birth to kancil-kutnah successor species.

Asteria could not bear to kill the deer with a punch, but she more could not bear to see the deer tormented by his first blow. He then hit the deer once again to make it calmer. From behind the clothes given by King Luid, he immediately took a knife and slit the neck of the deer. Blood also poured out.

“I don't know which weapons I'm going to get on this planet are in which parts, and I don't know how much time I'm going to spend here. I have to survive in this way, maybe until I find a settlement,” said Asteria.

He then skinned the deer. He only took the necessary meat. The unused side is buried so as not to produce a foul odor.

Asteria walks in search of a comfortable place to rest. The flesh of the deer is wrapped in foliage and lined

After finding the right place, Asteria looking for wood and make a fireplace by swiping the wood to make it burn. After a long effort, Asteria managed to make a fire. He roasted the meat on the coals of the fire. He ate enough cooked meat. The rest is kept as supplies.

It's afternoon. Asteria must make a place to stay overnight. He looked around to make a shelter out of wood and leaves. But finally he decided to make a resting place on a tree that is quite high.

Asteria brought the wood to the top of the tree and arranged it to be used as a base. As a binder he uses vines that are strong enough. He made the framework of walls and roofs of medium-sized wood. For cover and protection from wind and rain, it uses foliage.

Asteria remembered her father who often took her to the forest and sea. His father often taught him the importance of survival under any circumstances. He was taught how to make fire, shelter, food and some other survival techniques in the forest and sea.

“It is not impossible that one day our country will be hit by a disaster. We must have survival skills, Asteria,” said the father one day as they walked up one of the mountains on the main island of New Ferrata Kingdom.

“Why don't my friends practice, Dad? Why just me?” ask Asteria at that time.

“Dad can't require everyone to practice like this. They're out of dad's control. Unless the kingdom or the school obliges it,” replied the father.

“If the school requires it, Dad will definitely be asked to school as a teacher for my friends,” Asteria replied. He was only 13 years old at the time.

Dad laughed.

Asteria smiled at the finished shelter. He came down by flying to pick up the leftovers that were ripe. He kept it in his shelter. The rest of the combustion and charcoal he covered with leaves.

Night came, Asteria sat inside the shelter facing the side of the shelter that was left open. He looked at the forest, the moon and the stars. “How long will I be on this planet? I still haven't found the next clue.”

The middle moon is shining brightly. The dark forest is clearly visible from above due to the moonlight. Asteria finally flew over and saw how beautiful this extremely dense forest was. Only the trees and leaves he saw from above.

Asteria also spread a wider view. Only the trees and the forest he saw. Asteria decided to fly further and further away. And he was surprised that the planet was only a forest and land. “Is there no ocean on the planet?” I don't know who it was.

Asteria returned to her shelter. “If this planet is only land, it means that my search will be more difficult. How long will it take me to explore all the land and forests here? I should get a hint soon!” thought.

Suddenly, inside his shirt pocket, King Luid's giving compass lit up. Asteriaa. He saw the red clock. “Danger sign? What's the matter?” mumbling Asteria.

From below, something moved and walked. Asteria peered over her shleter. The shadow is not very clear. Black and dark. The moonlight doesn't light up too much down.

Asteria came out of the shelter and looked for a place to see more clearly. He watches from behind the tree.

On the ground the dark shadow was more clearly visible. There are 3 human figures but not wearing clothes. All are completely naked. Asteria was stunned to see that. 3 the figure had just caught an ****.

The asteria is silent and just watching.

**** it was cut into pieces. Then they split the pieces together to carry each one, as if dividing the load. What shocked Asteria the most was that, when one of the humans cut a bit of meat, split it into 3, then they ate it raw. Asteria almost vomited to see it.

Those three obscure humans then left with the pieces ****.

“It's a hint,” thought Asteria. Secretly, from above Asteria followed the departure of the 3 humans. He ignored the red compass needle that had previously warned of danger.
