Lotus Fairy

Viana tried to endure her hunger. He walked closer to the abyss again. He tried to find a way to cross the ravine. Recognize your fear, then you will gain courage - he remembered the essence of the sentence.

Viana tried to remember what had been her biggest fear so far. After the death of his parents, he was afraid to go to sea. But there is no sea water in this place. He will not sail the sea. That scary thing is nothing to worry about.

Viana convinced herself that she didn't need to scare anything. He was able to get through this. With the rest of her strength, Viana tried to bring out the power of King Luid who had failed to try it.

Viana placed both her hands on the edge of the cliff. He closed his eyes and felt the power flowing in every stream of his blood.

From the palm of his hand came a plant that crept and rooted on the rocks of the ravine. From there the vines strengthen each other. The vines extended to the opposite side of the cliff.

Viana opened her eyes. “Finally, I can be brave,” Viana said.

Viana ensured the strength of that stretched plant. He shook it and weighed it with his feet. After feeling strong, Viana got up. “Now I must dare to cross this abyss.”

Viana made a body safety rope with her plants. He fastened the two safety ropes on his body on a plant rope bridge that spanned both sides of the abyss. Safety rope ties with bridge straps are made slightly loose for easy movement.

“I have to get through this ravine in order to get there and get food,” Viana said.

Viana passed the rope bridge by hanging. His hands took turns grabbing the rope and connecting together like a chimpanzee. He kept moving with the rope.

Arriving in the middle of the ravine, Viana was exhausted. His hands shook and the pain held the weight of his body for too long. But Viana had no choice. He had to keep using his hands to keep moving forward.

When his hand wanted to reach the rope in front of him, he could not reach because of fatigue. Viana tried to grab it once more by swinging her body to lift it up. “I don't want to die here,” said Viana.

His hand managed to grab the rope in front of him, but it made a stomp and the talli swayed violently. Suddenly the rope broke. Viana clasped the rope firmly. He fell and swung towards the opposite cliff with the broken rope. His body hit the rock cliffs hard.

Viana screamed in pain. But with all his might he held his grip and did not want to fall. Now he hangs at the end of a rope on a steep cliff. His feet tried to reach a fairly flat rock nearby.

Viana's legs grabbed it. He stepped on the stone and took off his grip on the rope. “Hopefully this stone is sturdy enough,” he said.

Viana sat facing the other side and leaned her body. He endured body aches and abrasions on the skin of his hands. He had forgotten his hunger. All he thinks about is his safety.

Viana looked at the bottom of the dark abyss. Then he looked up at the cliff. Does Viana have to climb that cliff, while she has no experience climbing the cliff? Or he climbs by walking down the rope of plants dangling on it. But the rope was broken. What if the rope breaks back?

Viana is confused as to how. He's already exhausted. He thought about his home and grandmother. What is your grandmother doing now? Did grandma think about it that wasn't home? What if he fails and never comes back? How did Asteria and Prince Sagi not know of his disappearance?

Viana felt her fear again. He's afraid to die here. He was afraid not to return to New Ferrata. He was afraid to imagine his country being destroyed without a hero. At that moment he thought that he should be a hero.

“I can't give up! Even if I die here, at least I've fought. Instead of me dying in silence, I would rather die fighting. I must save myself to save the kingdom! All this time I have been silent. All this time I felt that I was useless. I have been living in fear all this time. Now I have no one to help me. I have to try again!” Viana.

At that moment, Viana's body suddenly shook. His feet slowly rose into the air with his body. He felt the power flowing in his body even greater. The plants came out and spread out from behind his clothes. Viana drifted all the way to the top of the ravine beyond the land.

On top, Viana can see the land and forest and gardens on both sides of the gorge. Her hair had turned green and her clothes had merged with the vines into a beautiful dress. Now he feels lighter and calmer.

Viana flew to the side of the garden gorge. He set his foot and spread his gaze. From behind the fruiting tree, there was a ray that seemed to hide and peek.

Viana looked at him and approached him. The light went away from Viana.  Viana's after. He used the vines from his hands to grab the light. The light was captured and Viana pulled it.

After being in front of Viana, apparently the light was a tiny creature with dragonfly-like wings, with a human body, and taper-eared. The little man covered his face with both hands.

“Hai, I'm Viana. Can you talk?” ask Viana.

The little creature opened its face. He watched Viana. Viana smiled looking at her innocent and cute face. Apparently the little creature is female. Viana untied him. The creature flew in front of Viana.

“I Peri Lotus. I'm from the Elf Dimension,” said the creature.

“Elf Dimensions? What is it?” ask Viana.

“The Elf dimension was the place where the Lotus Elves and elves lived. Each elf had one Fairy Lotus. And I am one of the fairies belonging to an elf who went to this dimension decades ago.”

“Then where is the elf who owns you?” ask Viana.

“He has escaped this dimension. I was left by her here,” Fairy Lotus said. His face turned gloomy.

“Why?” Viana wonder.

“Because he's already gained greater full power. He doesn't need me anymore. Every elf has a fairy for her power. An elf without a fairy would not be able to maximize her strength and be weak. While the Lotus Fairy without a master was unable to bring out her power. We complement each other,” explains Fairy Lotus.

“He left you. Then where did he go?” ask Viana.

“Enathlah. Maybe to the Elf Dimension or to go to another dimension. I never knew it. He left just like that after gaining his strength in this dimension. And I've been stuck here until now. I can't go back because my power disappeared when my master broke the bond.”

“Poor. How does it go from here?”

“He flew towards the sky. There is another dimension. Looks like he is looking for another power there,” Fairy Lotus said.

“Then I have to fly there to get away from this dimension,” muttered Viana.

“Are you also going to go from this dimension?” ask Fairy Lotus.

“Iya, I have to leave this place. I must gain the strength to save my country, the people and everything. I need greater strength to save my country.”

“I think I'll get a friend here. Turns out I'll be alone again.” The glum Lotus Fairy is back.

Viana smiled. “You say your strength will be maximal if you have an employer. What if I were your employer?” ask Viana.

Fairy Lotus smiled cheerfully. His round eyes were happy. “Really?”

“True. I'm not kidding,” replied Viana.

Lotus elves flew and danced. Then he came back again. “Finally I have another employer!”

Viana stretched out her hand. The Lotus Fairy with her tiny hands returned Viana's helping hand. They're agreeing. Then from the body of Fairy Lotus came out a brighter light. Fairy Lotus felt stronger than before.

“With my perfect strength, I was able to fly all the way to the sky,” Fairy Lotus said.

“Then, now we fly to the sky,” Viana said.

“How about we eat first? You must not have eaten,” suggested Fairy Lotus. Viana agreed to his proposal. They ate fruits that were in the trees around the garden. After they were full, they flew high into the sky.

With the power that Viana had obtained and the power of Fairy Lotus at their maximum, they would face a dimension that was unimaginable before. If in the Dimension of Fear the opponent is himself and his own fear, in the next dimension they must be ready to fight and expel all the power they have.
