The Explorers of the Universe
Life After the Attack

A few months after the attack, residents began to feel the new problems caused. The first month of the population uses fish from fishermen as the main food source, but they begin to feel saturated because of the lack of carbohydrate foods.

Previously carbohydrate food ingredients such as potatoes, yams and wheat were filled from other countries. Now they start to feel there is less than the food. Vegetables and fruits are produced more by other countries.

The second month of the country's finances and economy declined. The high need and the number of items available are few, making the price of the items increase. The population is increasingly difficult to meet their needs. Money is not worth much.

The third month of public health declined, the stock of drugs in health centers was dwindling. As a result, severe diseases cannot be treated, only given treatment so that they can last longer. Other diseases are running out of medication and cannot be treated properly.

Mothers began to worry their children not to get sick. If a child has a fever, they will immediately compress and heal early before it is severe and difficult to cure.

The fathers began to get tired of looking for fish in the sea because in the market the price is cheap. They begin to worry about the always moody wife and the child who begins to complain about a difficult life.

Teenagers who had dreamed of going to school to big countries lost their spirit. They also lost friends who were in big countries for school or work.

Joy is hard to find on their faces.

The following months Ferrata began to feel a big problem, namely psychology. Fear, despair, and grief become problems experienced by all residents. The heavy months.

Six months after the attack, Ferrata State was like a miserable open-air prison.

In the palace, the King began to think of a way out. The King summoned Royal Advisors and Royal Councils.

“How can we solve this problem? People are starting to suffer,” said the King.

“Not only the people who are miserable, the work and lives of the Council began to be affected,” said one of the Council.

“We must not drift in trouble, King. We have to think about the solution,” an Advisor opens his voice.

“First, we must solve the food problem, then the people's economic centers are turned on and medicines must be made. We must restore the spirit of the people's life,” said the King.

The Advisors began to negotiate and think of a way out.

“We have to build farms and plantations. The lands on hills and mountains should be used to grow yams and potatoes. Several other fertile islands can also be planted,” said an adviser.

“We should give them farming lessons,” said a Councilman. “Over this time our people only become fishermen and fabric makers.”

“Betul. I concur. We gather people who understand agriculture to start farming and teach people to grow yams, vegetables, nuts, fruits, and medicinal plants” replied the King.

All nodded and began to devise a plan to build a farm in the Ferrata Kingdom.

“We also have to build an educational place. The field and square where the soldiers practiced were quite spacious. We can divide the place to start building an educational place.” Another adviser gave a suggestion.

The closed-door meeting in the kingdom lasted quite a long time. Proposals were discussed and plans were immediately made. A new spirit emerged at work.

A week after the royal meeting, the kingdom gathered 126 young men and parents who had studied agriculture in the big country. They were asked to start building the kingdom's farm and invite other people to join the farm.

Finally, residents who had studied agriculture and some had practiced it in their homes, said their readiness.

“May there be better hope for Ferrata,” said a young man.

For a month two hectares of land under the hill began to be cultivated. Seeds were collected from the donations of the people and some of the royal supplies were planted.

The seedlings began to grow. The novice farmer watered the seedlings every day. But on the first planting the failure was quite large. Only a few plants produce small amounts.

The second replanting begins with reference to the previous failure. After 3 months, the yield is better. Although the number of paneh is not too much because there are some whose growth is not good, the kingdom is quite happy. This is a good start.

“This shows our land is fertile and cultivable,” said a Board.

The next day the king announced the crops to all the people. It makes all the people happy and eager to join the plant.

The third plant produces more yams and vegetables thanks to gotong royong from the population. The harvest is divided for the kingdom and all the people without exception.

The fourth harvest produces more happiness and vigor. During this period of cultivation, all healthy women became farmers. The men went back to looking for fish. Some of them remain farmers to help heavy-duty women.

The fifth crop yields a hundred percent harvest. There is no growth failure. They studied the first, second, third and fourth plantings.

The fifth harvest is grateful and the kingdom holds a meal with the people as gratitude to God.

That day the population made processed foods from yams and wheat. Breads with delicious aromas, pastries and sweet foods are made from the harvest.

The sea is not forgotten. Grilled fish, seasoned shellfish and other processed fish became dishes collected in the recently completed royal square.

At night, the new square was filled with people. Old and young, men and women, and children. They offered prayers of safety and dined together in the castle's back square.

Everyone can eat as much food as anyone has brought.

“This is just the first step. We must revive the people's market to maintain stability. Farming should be improved by growing fruits. Medicinal materials must be developed. School must be revived. We must hold on until the gate is reopened,” the King said to the Counselor and Council seated beside him.

“We must unlock the mystery behind all these events. We have to see the remains of a destroyed country. Maybe there are relics that can be a clue or we use for our safety. It is not impossible for the next attack to attack again,” added the King.

After that night, the entire population returned to his home.

Meanwhile, on his bed, the King began to think about the mystery and all the question marks out there. Is the great country really perishing without rest? If so, can they be returned? Will the attack come back?

The king decided to look for clues to open the doors of this question.
