The Director's Little Wife

The Director's Little Wife
CHAPTER 25 - When Human Feelings Become Weak

On that cold night, Hatori was only able to see Sherry's desperate back. It was in his heart that Hatori was eager to grasp the figure that started walking away from him.

"I know, you can't doubt me at all" Hatori muttered.

He turned his body, opening the car door intending to return to the residence of President Mannof. Suddenly, his phone shook. A call that made him a bit panicked and immediately looked back.

"Hh," Hatori breathed a sigh of relief after seeing the figure of Sherry staring at him from a distance without anything bad happening.

Hatori raised his phone while looking at Sherry, "Speak."

Sherry was still speechless, only breath was heard faltering from holding something back, right. Because from now on the girl who looks strong is still trying not to cry.

Hatori immediately ran towards Sherry, and hugged her. There Sherry's cries broke. The sound of crying is poignant, not poignant because of the loss of Roy. But bitter because he had realized that all this time he numbered the people who were always there for him.

It seems that Hatori also realized that, he was grateful because God no longer gave Sherry longer time to be able to acknowledge her existence.

Sometimes ambition is able to manipulate feelings and make a person unable to distinguish true likes with a sense of wanting to have because of the goals he thinks are able to make them happy.

The Mannof Family Residence.

The banquet still continues, but because the main event has been completed one by one invited guests take turns to leave the very pleasant place. Of course, business people and conglomerates will be very busy the next day. Except for ordinary employees who are still loyal to accompany the Host.

The waiter began to tidy up the table, picked up empty glasses and went back to the remaining guests to offer drinks.

"I'm so glad you can suppress your anxiety. You should have called me right away" Aditya said softly to his sister who was sitting and enjoying the chocolate cake melted in her mouth.

Leah did not dare to reply, she just put on an expression of guilt in front of her brother.

A moment ago.

"Baby, you hear me, right?" exclaimed Aditya who kept knocking on the door of his sister's room.

Because there is no answer without waiting for a long time Aditya immediately opened the door to Leah's room. And how surprised to see Leah sleeping in front of her dresser.

"Leah, hey! Wake up!" call Aditya and continue to resuscitate his sister who still does not want to open her eyes.

Shortly after, Leah woke up and started talking.

"Sister, do I deserve Brother Roy?,

Aditya let out a long sigh, and hugged his sister.

"Don't say anything silly like this. Listen to me my sweet sister," said Aditya as he straightened his sister's back looking at the mirror in front of him.

"The nervousness is natural, so be patient," said Aditya trying to calm his little sister's heart.

"Hey! I'll help you straighten your hair" Aditya said excitedly.

Leah turned to her brother in disbelief, "Can Adit be sure?" leah doubted his ability.

"Well, college time had an internship at the salon, make extra pocket money. Wash dishes once too. It's fun anyway" explained Aditya.

"Oh, it's fun to have a lot of experience" said Leah amazed

"Yes tolerable. Don't be afraid to try if you're actually capable."

"Actually being nervous is a natural thing. Many of my friends have experienced it too. But you have to stick around and fight that kind of thought. Especially when the day before the wedding, it will feel heavier than now. You don't falter. Understood?" aditya patted his sister on the shoulder and stretched out his hand to help her stand up.

**

"I was daydreaming, to fall asleep because of thinking no-no" said the little girl.

"Tsk. Where the hell is my confident, invincible sister, who always thinks positively?"

"Marriage is no joke. It is the beginning, not the end. However, also never doubt your own love," said Aditya.

"Then why is it not Adit's sister who married first?" ask Leah like checkmate on the chessboard.

"Um it... Besides I want to help our family business... You know I'm still lazy looking for a girlfriend," said Aditya clumsy while scratching his back head.

"Has Adit not moved on yet? Or is there love clapping one hand?" leah asked curiously.

Hearing that Aditya's head became dizzy suddenly, "Not. It's not time for me yet, that's it. 23 years is still very young, right, I'm not worried about that" said Aditya.

"alright. But I hope you get a life partner who loves you more than you love me" Leah said.

"Yes baby," said Aditya as he pinched his beloved sister's chubby cheek.

"Yes, Brother. Sorry."

The night was getting late, the party was over. Tired and sleepy approaching Leah. Understandably, he's not used to it yet. Unlike the lives of business people who are used to staying up every day.

Leah walked alone leaving the East Hall. It's walking slowly. Roy who saw him immediately approached him.

"Darling!" call Roy. Leah did not hear it.

"Darling! Leah!" call Roy back.

Leah, who heard Roy's voice, stopped walking and turned around and waited.

Looking at Leah's facial expression, "You're already sleepy. Why walk alone?"

Leah immediately hugged Roy's hand as soon as the man was next to her, "Sister Adit left with Joseph. It seems like they fit in with each other" Leah replied.

"Oh? Is that so? Joseph said your brother beat him many times during a game last night,"

"Yes. They're too brutal when they play games" Leah grumbled.

"Haha. Why do you think that?"

"Yes, isn't that so. Everyone can go crazy just because of a game?" answer Leah.

"But the truth is only I can go crazy because of you" said Roy trying to seduce his lover.

"Don't. Whatever happens, don't let the man who will be my future husband go crazy" Leah said, staring sinisterly at Roy.

"Sister Roy, can I ask you something?" ask Leah.

"Anything. I'll give you my everything, my Little Bae," replied Roy quickly.

"Mm, but until when are you going to call me 'Sister Roy', '" asked Roy.

"Then what should I call you?" answer Leah plainly.

"Dear, could. Honey, can. Or just call my name, Roy," said Roy, turned romantic under a star-filled night sky.

The embarrassed Leah looked at her lover's face with a wry smile. Leah placed both hands on Roy's arms. While Roy put both his hands on Leah's slender waist. Their feet stepped in tune, without their music dancing in the moonlight.

"I want to, but I'm still embarrassed because I'm not used to it. But I will definitely try," Leah replied smilingly as she raised her head so that she could look at Roy's face so closely.

Roy was happy to hear that, he lowered his head in order to see Leah's face clearly.

"alright. I'll wait for him" Roy replied somewhat gritting his teeth as their faces were now almost stuck.

They get carried away. Their breath was so heavy that they could feel each other. And their dance steps stopped.

"Leah," whispered Roy.

"Yes?"

"I love you, love you so much,"

"I love you too" replied Leah in shame.

It was like there was something they couldn't stand anymore. Leah's grasp and Roy's embrace tightened. And their breath gets closer like the opposite magnetic poles pulling on each other.

"FAK!"

They both flinched, then turned their heads where the source of the voice came from.

Apparently there was a waiter who accidentally saw them so that made him who was carrying a dirty plate trolley hit the park road barrier.

With shock the waiter immediately lowered his head and immediately left from there quickly.

The embarrassed Leah immediately hid her face in Roy's arms, "It looks like I'm going to have a drink" Leah said.

Roy felt that he had just lost one chance. If it wasn't for the waiter they might have been.. Well what to say, so Roy thought.

"Right, we better get in. The air is getting colder too" Roy said.

The two of them walked away from the place and passed by.
