The Dilemma Between Two Choices

The Dilemma Between Two Choices
39. Andra's Destruction

The words of Laila's mother rendered Andra helpless. In his deepest heart, he was eager to bring Nafeesa back, but it was too late.

Andra did not make any comment from Laila's mother and walked right into her car. His heart was so broken that it was even in pieces, sick but not bleeding.

Her tears were soaking her cheeks. He did not expect that in just about five months, Nafeesa chose to build a household again. Andra just wanted to drive her car, but her efforts again hampered due to the screams of Laila's mother.

"Andra, wait!!!" Shouted Laila's mother and within her grasp was a chocolate map she was holding.

Mother Laila's steps were stirred up for fear that she was late and the trust from Madam Dea had not been able to convey before Andra left her home.

Andra immediately got out of her car and approached Laila's mother, "just slow down, wait for Andra who will be there," she replied by speeding up her steps.

"Son Andra, I'm sorry I forgot to give this map to you, son," he said with a heavy breath because he had walked in a hurry.

Andra immediately grabbed the map that Mother Laila had handed into her hand. He looked towards Mother Laila and seemed to ask with the intent of the map.

"You open it, if you have read it you will understand" he replied because it was not his capacity.

Andra then opened the map and read it, his eyes bulged perfectly, his mouth gaping his hands clenched so firmly that he could not believe what was written in the map.

"Sorry this is my pen, son, and please work together for the good of both of you" he explained as he thrust a ballpoint pen towards Andra.

Laila's mother is very sad but, the way their lives have been unable to reunite, they stand at two different crossroads. Laila's mother from the beginning deeply regretted their relationship had to run aground in the middle of the road. And Laila's mother slightly disliked Andra's actions towards Nafeesa. But, he did not want to add to the problem by hating Andra or anyone else.

"You're patient, son, and I hope that you can learn from your past mistakes, and try to get up, I'm sure someday there will be a happy glimmer for you," he explained by giving advice and input to Andra while stroking the arm of Andra who had been considered his own son.

"There are many mothers, if so, I say goodbye first" he said, then grabbed Laila's right hand for her to kiss.

"Many pray and improve yourself, intropeksilah son insha Allah your life will be better than before" said Mother Laila then walked away from Andra who had signed her divorce papers.

Andra's fingers are hard to move as if there is an object with a heavy load tied on top of his finger. This makes it very difficult to sign the divorce papers. Until the sincere smile of Nafeesa is clearly drawn at the end of his eye peluk. That allowed her to sign the divorce papers.

"There are still many mothers, if that's what I say first," he said and grabbed Laila's right hand for her to kiss.

"Waalaikumsalam, be careful son, greetings Mother and Father your mother and son," he said.

Andra immediately drove her car and did not want to turn her head. His tears that had dripped down his cheeks were getting louder as if his tears were not going to dry. He repeatedly squeezed his clothes alternately by hitting the steering wheel of his car. It was as if he was doing it to cover up the heartache and disappointment that felt so very piercing the heart to the ribs.

"Mafeesa!!!!" He shouted inside his car which was traveling at a fairly high speed.

Andra only realized that regret always comes at the end of a story. Regret will be meaningless if it is done continuously. What can be done is the best way to try to repair the damaged and change all bad behavior is one way that can be done so as not to get too late and fall in the pool mud of sorrow and regret.
