Ting…
The elevator door was open, and without waiting for the door to open wide enough, he immediately stepped into the room where the test was conducted. But his steps came to a halt as he crashed from behind the body of someone walking in front of him. Nafeesa immediately frowned and tried to stop his running speed.
"Revelation!! Move Sir!!!!!" Nafeesa's grandmother was too late because she had already hit the person's body.
All eyes were immediately fixed on Nafeesa's cry with her cry capable of distracting everyone in the place.
But so sturdy was the man's wide back that it only shifted a step away from the push of Nafeesa's head and hands.
Even Nafeesa was pushed slightly back. Everyone in the room was shocked by Nafeesa's action. The helmet he was wearing was still beautifully attached to cover the crown of his head.
Various kinds of eyes were fixed on the action. He did not expect to do something like that that he had never done in his life. Various discordant and slightly cornered voices were already heard from their mouths.
Nafeesa soon awoke from her own shock, and immediately apologized to the person she hit. Nafeesa moved his foot forward. But, not yet had his mouth spoken a word, he spontaneously shed his tears.
His tears poured down his cheeks as he found out who the figure of the person in front of him was.
"Father!" The great-grandson of Nafeesa whose breath was choked as if the air supply on the 9th floor was almost out of stock.
The man called papa is no different from what Nafeesa feels. He was surprised not to play and he did not expect that today after almost 11 years they were reunited again.
"Nafeesa" said Mr. Handoko with the look of his face that was happy because he could be reunited with his daughter-in-law's son.
All the eyes that saw them looked at each other and were filled with question marks. They were silent and waiting for what else to happen and they did. Some of them know who Mr. Handoko is in the Company.
Mr. Handoko immediately ordered them to return to work. One by one they left the place without exception.
Tests that should have started a few minutes ago were delayed because of a small incident the committee held back so that the atmosphere was again conducive like a spoon.
Nafeesa was still standing in his place. He didn't budge at all in his place. Only her tears showed that she was sad and happy because she was able to meet her father-in-law who was like her own father-in-law.
Mr. Handoko helped Nafeesa to remove the helmet he was wearing. Nafeesa did not resist or forbid her father from doing so.
"Thank you" he said.
When Mr. Handoko took off the helmet that had earlier protected and covered his head whose existence was forgotten by Nafeesa which made him the center of the spectacle.
His personal assistant Pak Handoko did not expect that they would meet again with his ex-wife Andra, the owner of the company where they work.
"Follow Papa in," ordered Mr. Handoko.
Without much questioning or anything, he followed the footsteps of Mr. Handoko into his room. Nafeesa tried to wipe her tears that had dripped down her cheeks.
"Sit down, son" he asked again when he was in the room.
Nafeesa complied with all the words of Mr. Handoko without interrupting or refuting in the slightest.
"How are you doing, son?" Ask Mr. Handoko who opened the conversation between them.
"Alhamdulillah the news of Nafeesa is fine sir," he replied by lowering his head.
Mr. Handoko sent a chat to his Assistant to immediately buy a pair of shoes that fit the size of Nafeesa. Unbeknownst to Nafeesa himself.
"It would be very happy for Andra to know about you" said Mr. Handoko who was immediately interrupted by Nafeesa.
"Father! Naf asked Papa very help, never tell Mas Andra if we meet," he explained Nafeesa while holding his hand Mr. Handoko.
"Why Nak, it's not that it's very good if Andra finds out that we met," said Mr. Handoko who stared full of question marks at Nafeesa.
"Sorry Pa, it is not yet time for me to meet Mas Andra and Nafeesa is also unable to meet him" Nafeesa replied with a sad face.
He still remembered when he was expelled from Andra's life and suspected and not trusted with his honesty. Nafeesa is still disappointed with Andra's attitude.
"Sorry Papa, it may not be the right time for us to meet and also I am still disappointed with Mas Andra's attitude, so I beg you to understand my decision Pa," please Nafeesa so that Mr. Handoko understands and is willing to fulfill his request.
"But, until when will you hide behind the disappointment, the passing breath let you both pass what is wrong and what is difficult to establish the friendship rope even though you are divorced," obviously Mr. Handoko again.
"I'm sorry Nafeesa Pa, I'm not ready yet" she replied, bowing her head trying to hold back her cries.
"If that's your decision, then papa will not urge or force you all decisions are in your hands" concluded Mr. Handoko.
