Chapter 9 TCA: Who's there?
"Aarrggghhhh"
"Buukkkkkk" a fist smashed into the wall of the house
"What actually happened? Why would Adira be with Aaron's sister?" Kevin began to rouse and ruffle his coarse hair
Kevin seemed to be pacing back and forth while putting his hands on his waist and the other hand did not stop scrambling his own hair
"She must know about all this, I have to see her" Kevin paused saying "No, I have to see Adira first"
"Braakkk" Kevin closed the door rudely and walked out of the empty house
Late in the afternoon at Al-Devano's residence. Adira got out of the car in a hurry. Aaron came down and walked quickly to grab the girl's hand
"Let go of my hand, brother" said Adira
"Say what's wrong?" ask Aaron
"I'm just saying that to my sister. You don't want to help me, do you?"
"Is this about Kevin?" ask Aaron
"Nobody knows why you're still asking" Adira said
Adira releases her hand from Aaron's grasp violently and walks into the room.
Jack approached Aaron "master, it looks like young master Kevin has escaped"
"I know"
"Now he will definitely look for Miss Adira's whereabouts"
Aaron let out a long sigh "You keep an eye on Adira, lest she meet Kevin"
"Okay sir" Jack replied slightly lowered his head
Aaron stepped his foot in and walked towards his study. He'll leave Adira alone in the room.

Clara chased after Brian and pulled his arm until the man faced her
"Do you know where Kevin is?" ask Clara
"Gue doesn't know Ra" Brian replied
"Don't lie! You must know, right?" Clara raised her voice
"Ra's oath, I don't know" Kevin tried to convince
Clara looked suspiciously at Brian, knowing there must be something Brian was hiding from her. While Brian could not be honest if indeed this morning he had met Kevin but Kevin asked him to keep it secret from anyone.
Elsewhere Kevin is still wearing his hoodie and covering his head. He used a mask to cover his face. He walked to a small food stall and ordered food immediately because from morning he had not eaten anything.
He took off his mask when the stall seller's mother gave him her order of food. He immediately ate the food until it ran out.
When he finished eating he looked at the fathers sitting next to him and eating his food. He looked at the phone lying on the table. Kevin tried to rebuke the father
"Excuse me sir? Can I borrow your phone for a minute?" said Kevin
He looked at Kevin. He looks suspicious and looks very young
"Oh of course, please" the father grabbed his phone and gave it to him
Kevin received the phone and picked up a piece of paper that was nailed to his jacket. He entered the number there and tried to reach her.
Meanwhile, at Aaron's house. Aaron walked towards the window of his study and saw Adira sitting on the edge of the pool swinging her right hand splashing with water. Aaron smiled faintly looking at the girl from upstairs.
A few moments later, Aaron came out of his study and walked down the stairs into his room. He took off his shoes and buttoned his shirt as he was about to take a shower. I heard a phone ringing from the table. It was Adira's phone that read. Aaron walked up to the sound and grabbed Adira's phone. There's an incoming call from an unknown number. With hesitation Aaron shifted the green button and put the phone in his ear
"Adira? The darling? It's me Kevin. I want to meet you" the voice from behind the phone
Aaron was silent. He knew it was Kevin's voice
"Hello Adira? Did you hear me? I know you're angry but please listen to my explanation first"
Aaron still did not answer Kevin's voice. He dropped the phone and looked at the screen and turned off the phone
"I'm sorry Adira, but I have to do this" Aaron said
There were footsteps walking towards the room. Aaron looks panicked and "Prakkk" Aaron slams Adira's phone to the floor until it cracks
"What's up, brother? Like something's falling" asked Adira a little worriedly
Aaron tried to find an excuse "sorry I accidentally nudged your phone down and cracked"
Adira looks startled and runs small towards Aaron. He saw his cell phone lying and cracking on the floor. Adira squatted down a bit and grabbed her phone.
"How did it get like this, brother?" Adira turned the phone around. "it looks more like it's on the floor. If he just fell it couldn't have been this severe"
Aaron tried to be calm "already, I'll replace him later. Your phone is so ugly that it just fell a little bit and broke"
"But I just bought it three months ago with my overtime.it's impossible to just fall so bad"
"Not to think about it. I change for the better tomorrow. I'm going to take a shower" Aaron rushes to the bathroom because Adira still seems to be in disbelief if his phone just falls off

Kevin had been monitoring Aaron's house from afar since morning. He was still curious when yesterday saw Adira riding in a car with Aaron. Since when are they so close? Even Kevin had never introduced his brother to Adira.
The gate opened and a car walked out of the mansion. Kevin turned his back when the car passed him. He did not want his brother to recognize him.
Kevin is still wondering if Adira is in the house or not. He had been monitoring Adira's house but had never seen the girl except her uncle and aunt. Even at work, Kevin did not see the girl set foot there again. Last time was yesterday when he accidentally saw the girl rush out of the cafe and stop the taxi
In the car Jack asked Aaron "sir, did you see a slightly suspicious person standing not far from home?"
"No, did you see anything?" ask Aaron
"Maybe it's just passers-by sir" Jack replied
Aaron seemed silent for a moment, then he remembered that Kevin called Adira yesterday. He also immediately realized
"Wait on! We turn back to the house" Aaron exclaimed
"What's up, sir?"
"Follow my orders"
"Okay, sir" Jack stopped the car and turned it around
Meanwhile Kevin takes the opportunity to open a gate that happens to be not in the lock when the doorman goes to the bathroom. Kevin smuggles into his brother's residence. He walked a little to avoid being caught.
Anna's waiter opened the door and brought a plastic container of trash that he was going to throw out. Kevin did not miss the opportunity to enter when the door opened slightly. While inside he tries to find Adira's whereabouts. Whether his girlfriend was there or not.
The sound of footsteps, Kevin immediately lowered his head and hid behind the back of the sofa
"Miss wait, miss where are you going? Don't go, miss. Mr. Aaron will be angry" said Elsa's waiter
Adira smiled "I'm not going anywhere. I'm just going to the kitchen to cook"

The voice sounded familiar to Kevin. He wanted to get up and see who the owner of the voice was. Whether it was his girlfriend or not.
"Well miss then I stay behind, miss. I'll hang my clothes first. If you need help, you can call me" said Elsa
"Good" replied Adira
Elsa leaves Adira. Kevin tried to peek at who the girl was there. He could only see the girl's back from behind who was walking towards the kitchen. She is sure that is Adira her lover. But what's going on? Why can Adira stay one roof with Aaron?
Adira walks towards the kitchen and picks up some groceries to cook from inside the refrigerator. From behind the wall Kevin watched the girl. He saw the girl's face from the side

That was really Adira's lover. A thousand questions now reside in Kevin's brain. What really happened that day? If he doesn't come, shouldn't the marriage be void?
"Praanggg" Kevin accidentally nudged a vase until it fell and broke
Adira turned and called out "who is that? Elsa are you there?"
No answer, Adira was curious and walked towards the kitchen door to see who dropped the object there. Adira saw the shadow of someone on the floor
