Chapter 19: TCA

Tonight in the car, Aaron and Adira appear to be silent. No words have come out of their lips since the incident in the room yesterday. Last night Aaron didn't sleep in the room. He chose to sleep in his office.

The car stops at the villa belonging to the Adiguna family. Tonight they will attend Kevin and Clara's engagement. Since thinking about Aaron and Stella, Adira seems to no longer care about Kevin's engagement. Although at first he felt hurt when Amira came and said about Kevin's engagement.

"Don't say anything in front of them" Aaron said without looking at Adira

"I understand brother" replied Adira

Aaron got out of the car and followed with Adira. They stood side by side in front of the car. Aaron looked towards Adira. Actually he was eager to say that Adira looks very beautiful tonight, but he undoes his intentions. Aaron grabs Adira's hand and grabs it.

Adira looked towards the hand held by Aaron. He looked towards Aaron. Maybe this is the last time he will act like a romantic couple in front of everyone. The Adiguna family.

They entered the Adiguna family villa. All the guests were there and looked towards their arrival. Adira looked towards Stella and her friends who were also standing there looking towards their arrival. As usual, Stella looks so elegant and beautiful. Adira turned to look at Aaron who seemed to not care about the existence of Stella there. If they had a relationship why Aaron was cold and didn't say hello to Stella.

Kevin who saw Adira coming along with Aaron looks very upset. Especially seeing them holding hands. Adira seems to not care if tonight she will be engaged to another woman.

Aaron and Adira approach and greet Brama's grandfather who is smiling towards them.

"Grandpa is glad you finally came too" said Brama's grandfather

"Sorry cake, we're a little late" Aaron said

"No problem. The show has not started yet" replied Grandpa

"Grandfather is right Aaron. Because you have come, the engagement event we immediately start" said Arya

A servant brought a box with a ring and handed it to Amira.

"Kevin, Clara, you exchanged rings" said Amira as she opened the box containing the ring

"Tante, may it be that Adira's sister-in-law gave us her ring?" pinta Clara's. Clara deliberately wants to make Adira hurt to see him and Kevin exchange rings.

"Of course I can" Amira turned towards Adira and walked over

"Adira.you want to give this ring to Kevin and Clara" said Amira.

"I...."

"No!" Answer Aaron quickly. Making all eyes look towards Aaron including Adira.

"Nobody can tell my wife!". Aaron said, staring intently at Clara and Kevin. "Do I need to kick this ring into your hands!"

The atmosphere became tense. Especially hearing Aaron's words that look angry. Adira looks at Aaron's face which looks upset and angry. He's happy because Aaron always protected him.

"Have already.give it to Kevin and Clara. There is no need for Adira to give it" Arya said, breaking the tension

Amira looks upset with Aaron's attitude. Aaron seems to be starting to like Adira. Though initially Amira deliberately made Aaron replace Kevin to live Adira tormented like hell. Seeing Aaron who is cold and indifferent Adira will not feel at home for long to be part of the Adiguna family and ask for divorce.

Kevin and Clara took one ring each and put it on. Kevin looked towards Adira before pinning the ring on Clara's finger. Kevin's heart was broken because he saw Adira who was looking at Aaron and seemed to not care about him anymore.

Now everyone is enjoying the meal. A man walked over to Aaron and Adira.

"Aaron.." said the man.

"Denis" said Aaron, and they shook hands with each other

"He's your wife?" ask Denis while pointing towards Adira

Aaron turned towards Adira "iya. She's my wife"

"Pretty. You choose a wife" Denis said. "Yes. Can we talk for a minute? I want to talk to you about your cooperation"

Aaron turned towards Adira as if asking for approval.

"It's okay brother. You just go. I will wait for you here" said Adira

Aaron rubbed Adira's face gently "Don't go anywhere. I'm just for a second"

Aaron walks with Denis leaving Adira. Seeing Aaron's treatment of her, Adira forgets that she had asked for a divorce before.

"I hope you didn't ignore my words yesterday" Stella said as she stood beside Adira.

Adira turned towards Stella "I know what I have to do"

Stella's friends come and approach Stella and Adira.

"Stella´s. You knew her? He was the one who came with Aaron, wasn't he?" ask a friend

"Well, he's Aaron's wife. More precisely Aaron was only forced to marry her because he had to replace his sister who left from their wedding. Isn't that Adira?" syndicator Stella

"Well, is that so? After all, a Chairman of Maxim group cannot be married to a woman carelessly" said another

Adira just fell silent holding back her annoyance and anger. Actually he was eager to reply to the words of the women one by one. But he didn't want to embarrass Aaron and his family.

"Kevin has opened his eyes. He chose Clara who was clearly the sole heir to the Mahendra family. Maybe Aaron's fate is unlucky so forced to marry a girl like this" said another woman

"Hey..have you never reflected? A woman like you would justify any means to get rich men"

Adira could no longer bear the insults of those women. He walked away from them without returning their words.

Kevin who was chatting with Clara and her friends saw Adira who was in a hurry with a face that looked sad. Kevin leaves his friends and runs after Adira. The girl's hand came to face him.

"Kevins. Release my hand!" Adira was feeling uneasy because all eyes were looking at them

"No Adira! I'm not letting you go!" Kevin seems to misunderstand and thinks that Adira is sad to see her engaged to Clara.

Some guests started to shake them

"Eh. look at that. That's Aaron's wife, right? Is Kevin in a relationship with his own brother-in-law?"

"Yes right. Women are not ashamed. Already had a husband still flirting with his sister-in-law"

"Women like that definitely won't be enough with one man"

Adira could not stand the gossip from the guests anymore. He was afraid that Brama's grandfather was looking at them.

Clara who saw him was angry and walked over to them. He took Kevin's hand out of Adira's.

Clara with a hunting breath as it held back angrily slapped Adira in the face.

"Basic is not ashamed!! At our engagement event, you still teased your own sister-in-law!!" Clara again raised her hand and was about to throw it back but someone held her hand.

"Sister Aaron." said Clara who saw that Aaron was holding her hand. He threw his hand violently by Aaron.

"Who will allow you to touch my wife!" said Aaron in a high tone.

"But your wife is the one who keeps teasing Kevin's feet!" exclaim Clara

"My wife or Kevin flirting first? Just ask your fiancee!" The sound of Adira's hand that was still standing was riveted and he carried it to walk towards Brama and Arya's grandfather who was also looking at them since then.

"Grandfather, Dad. Sorry to mess up on this show. We want permission to go home first" Aaron said

"Yes Aaron, it's okay. You take your wife home" replied Arya.

Aaron turned around and put his foot through Adira.

"Wait Aaron!!" exclaiming Grandpa Brama made Aaron and Adira turn back and face towards the grandfather

"I want to talk to you! I wait in my room" Grandpa pointed at Adira and sauntered away towards the top floor.
