Chapter 18: TCA

"Yyyyy...!!!"

Someone pulled Adira's hand quickly making them both fall onto the asphalt. The atmosphere was momentarily silent. Adira felt pain in her body and her hands slightly blisters due to hitting the asphalt body.

A panicked Kevin looked towards Adira. He rushes to get up and see Adira's condition.

"Are you okay?" Kevin helps Adira to sit down.

"What are you doing! You want to die, huh!!" Kevin was so upset and worried. He could not control his emotions because he was so panicked.

Adira who heard Kevin screaming even more crying. Kevin grabs Adira's face when he sees the girl crying as she pleases.

"Don't cry Adira. I didn't mean to scold you" Kevin said worriedly as he wiped the girl's tears.

"Hikss... hiksss.... "

Kevin hugged Adira's body tightly. He looks more worried because Adira did not stop crying even though he had tried to calm the girl.

"Is anyone sick? Let's go to the hospital" Kevin asked as he let go of Adira's embrace and went back to wiping his tears.

Adira shook her head "No. I'm fine"

Because actually Adira is crying also not because of that. Remember what happened between Aaron and Stella. Remembering all that made Adira weakly helpless.

Kevin helps Adira to stand up.

"Do we need to go to the hospital?" kevin asked as he held onto the girl's shoulders.

Adira shook her head slowly "No Kevin. I'm fine"

"What are you thinking? Why don't you look around when you cross" Kevin said

Adira lowered her head "me...."

Seeing the look on Adira's face made Kevin hug the girl again. He still loves the girl very much even though he knows that now the girl's love has been divided for his brother.

Clara who saw from earlier in the car was starting to grow furious because Kevin continued to hug Adira. They were riding in a car together but suddenly Kevin stopped his car when he saw Adira was about to cross the road. Clara decided to come down and approach them

Clara pulls Adira's hand from inside Kevin's arms and slaps him.

"Clarah! What are you doing!!" Kevin is furious to see Clara's treatment of Adira

"Kevin! We're getting engaged tomorrow. But you still care about this woman. You must remember! He is now your brother-in-law Kevin" Clara exclaimed

It's not that Kevin doesn't admit Adira is now Aaron's wife, his older brother. But everything that happened was out of his will. Maybe if there was no wedding that day, he and Adira could still be together as lovers.

"Enough Clara! You don't have to remind me of that. I already know" Kevin looked towards Adira and held her cheek that had been slapped by Clara "You're okay, right?"

Not yet Adira answered, Clara had pulled Kevin's hand from Adira's face so that the man faced her.

"Kevin!!!" exclaim Clara

Adira who felt that the reason for their quarrel preferred to leave. He ran across the street and stopped a taxi. Kevin was about to chase after her but Clara held onto his wrist firmly.

Seeing Adira who had left by taxi made Kevin upset and pulled his hand violently. He walked quickly to his car and started the engine. The car drove off and left Clara there alone. Clara tried to chase and screamed for Kevin but Kevin ignored her.

Aaron got out of the car. He put his foot into the house. He looked around and did not find his wife there. Anna came and saw her master had gone home. Anna walked over as if knowing what her master was going to ask.

"Tu.. sir is home?" ask Anna

Looking at the look on his servant's face, Aaron knew there must be something going on "Where's my wife?"

"Sorry sir. The miss had gone out after receiving the phone" Anna replied a little scared. He knew his master would be angry.

"Why let him go? Are you tired of working, huh!" Aaron raised his tone of voice, making Anna tremble slightly in fear.

When the atmosphere was panicked and tense, Adira came in with shaky steps. He stopped his steps when he saw Aaron standing there with Anna. Aaron and Anna, who heard the sound of footsteps, turned to the door. There Adira stood. Anna could breathe a sigh of relief as Adira came just in time.

Seeing Adira there, Aaron ran towards her. He cupped his wife's face and looked her in the eyes. It was like seeing sadness there. Aaron was worried and hugged her right away.

"You worry me" she kissed the girl's hair many times like she was afraid of losing.

"Sister came home early. What's up?" tanya Adira makes Aaron let go of her embrace and look back at her.

Aaron grabbed his wife's hands "Adira I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lie to you. Yesterday I...."

"Sister..." Adira cuts off Aaron's speech. "So, you haven't had lunch yet, have you? I'll change clothes first. After that we had lunch together"

Adira knew what her husband was going to say. Although he had heard from Stella but he would not be able to if he had to hear it directly from Aaron's mouth.

Adira forced her smile and released her hand from her husband's grasp. He walked past Aaron.

Aaron looked towards Adira who passed him and saw Adira's hand blisters visible from behind. He grabbed his wife's wrist.

"What's up, brother?" adira asked as she faced Aaron again.

"Why can your hand hurt?" ask Aaron worried

Adira looked towards the wound on her elbow. Even he had not felt it since earlier if his hand was scuffed because it had fallen onto the asphalt.

"Oh, I accidentally fell. But it's okay, brother. It doesn't hurt too much"

Aaron took a deep breath and raised his wife's body. Adira is shocked and asks to be taken down.

"Let me down, brother, I'm fine"

"Shut up!" aaron said, then walked up to the room.

Adira just resigned and put one hand on Aaron's neck. Adira began to argue "If you behave like this continuously, how can I release you brother".

Aaron sat Adira in bed "wait here, I'll get some medicine"

"Sister!" Adira held Aaron's wrist and made Aaron look back at him. Then he stood up to Aaron and gathered up the courage to speak.

"Sister.." Adira took a deep breath. "Let's get a divorce!"

Adira's heart aches with what she has said herself. While Aaron just fell silent and looked into his eyes.

Seeing Adira lower her gaze, Aaron knew the girl was just pretending to be tough in front of him.

"I was wrong all along. I think I like you. It turns out that I was only touched by your treatment of me. I never loved you sister" Adira held back her tears from coming out in front of Aaron.

Aaron didn't take his eyes off his wife "Say once more!"

Adira could no longer say it if she had to say it again. His body felt weak and unable to speak anymore.

"I'm not me. hhhmmppppp"

Aaron silenced Adira's mouth by kissing her lips. He did not want to hear the girl's rejection again.

Adira holds Aaron's chest and tries to encourage him to let go of his kiss. Adira pushed back strongly, making Aaron let go of his kiss and looked back at her.

"I beg you not to be like this, brother. I never loved you!"

Adira ran to the bathroom and closed the door. He started crying there. He was no longer able to face Aaron because it hurt his heart.

Aaron looked towards the bathroom door. He wiped his eyes before his tears could fall. Adira's words made his heart very sick. Even if she knew Adira was lying to her.
