Chapter 17: TCA

Aaron re-enters Stella's apartment with medicine in his hand. He saw Stella still lying weakly in her bed. Aaron took one medicine and told Stella to take it.

"Next time do not eat late. Your stomach acid will rise again. And do not forget to always keep the medicine just in case" said Aaron

"Thank you" Stella said

"I'm going home. I also bought you food. I put it on the dinner table, eat it later" said Aaron and then set foot on the sofa

Aaron took his suit that he put on the sofa and his cell phone that was left on the table. Stella soon wakes up to see Aaron leaving her room.

"Can't you just stay for tonight, Aaron? I was afraid that my stomach would suddenly hurt again" Stella said

"Sorry Stella, but my wife is waiting for me at home. I gotta go home. I don't want to make him wait and worry" Aaron replied

Stella's heart ached hearing Aaron's reply. Aaron cares about Adira.

Stella runs over and hugs Aaron. He put his lips on Aaron's shirt and made a mark there.

"Don't be like this Stella!"

Aaron pushed and released Stella from his embrace with a slight roughness. Then he passed away leaving Stella alone there.

Adira sat curled up on the bed. His mind drifted everywhere. He was afraid that what he thought was true if Stella and Aaron were alone there. He seems to be starting to realize that he really likes Aaron. He wanted to say that later when Aaron came home.

There were sounds of steps and the door opened. Adira looked over and looked there

"Why not sleep?" aaron asked as he looked at Adira who was sitting on the bed and looked at him.

"I'm waiting for my brother. Why just got home?" adira asked as she got up and approached Aaron

Aaron rubbed Adira's hair "there's a little bit of work to be done"

The deg!! Aaron was clearly lying. He just met Stella. That's a fact. Adira looked at Aaron's shirt and there was a lipstick on it. Adira's body felt weak. His chest was like tightness and it was hard to breathe.

"Why? Your face suddenly looks pale. Are you sick?" Aaron rubbed Adira's cheek and felt worried.

"Ti.no brother. I'm it's okay. Change your clothes first. I'll take a drink. I was a little thirsty" Adira said stammered and lowered Aaron's hand from his face.

Adira walks away past Aaron and out of the room. He closed the door and leaned his body on the door. He tried to hold back his tears from coming out. He does not want to draw his own conclusions. He must first confirm the truth.

Adira can't sleep tonight. He looked to the side and saw that Aaron was asleep. Aaron is tired.

🎶 Ting 🎶

Aaron's phone sounded a sign that a message was coming in. Adira sees Aaron who doesn't seem to hear the incoming message on his phone. Adira lifted her head and grabbed the phone that was on top of the small closet next to the bed. He saw a message coming in from Stella

"Style? Why would Stella send a midnight message like this?" inner Adira. Adira starts to look nervous and tense

Adira ventured to open a message from Stella

"Thank you for tonight.I love you"

"Duuaarrr" Immediately Adira's feelings again shattered reading the message. His hands shook and his eyes began to glaze over. Adira looked towards Aaron who was still sleeping. He put the phone back in its place. Adira got up and walked towards the dirty basket. He wanted to make sure that what he saw was a lipstick stain or not. He took Aaron's shirt and saw the stain. And it's true it's a lipstick stain. Adira silenced her own mouth and held back her cries. He does not want Aaron to wake up and find him.

In the morning Aaron woke up and found Adira was no longer there beside him. Aaron went and wanted to find his wife, but Adira first entered to see him.

"Are you awake?" ask Adira while walking closer

Aaron saw Adira's puffy eyes as if crying. He held his wife's face

"Are you crying?" ask Aaron worried

"No brother. I just couldn't sleep last night" Adira replied

"Are you sick again?" aaron asked increasingly worried and cupped the girl's face.

Adira shook her head and smiled "No. Take a shower and get ready. I've prepared breakfast for us"

Adira lowers Aaron's hand from his face and is about to turn around but Aaron holds his arm and pulls it back to face him.

"Are you hiding something from me?" Aaron was suspicious of his wife. Adira seems to be getting nervous.

"What did my sister say. Take a shower and get ready. Or later brother will be late to the office" Adira pushes Aaron's body to the front of the bathroom

Adira walks away to the closet and opens the closet. He's getting clothes ready for Aaron. Aaron who was still standing there just looked at him. Aaron felt like something was being hidden by his wife.

"Master!" jack said, Aaron's daydream

"When did you come in? I don't know" said Aaron

"I've knocked on the door a few times but it doesn't seem like you heard it" Jack said.

Aaron rubbed his face. He did not hear Jack knock on the door.

"What are you thinking? Is there a problem, sir?" ask Jack to worry. Because it's not usually the master like this.

Aaron looked towards Jack and let out a long sigh "I feel like there's something Adira is hiding"

Jack chuckled at his master's words. For the first time he saw his master was upset because of a girl.

"Why didn't you just ask Miss directly?" said Jack

"He was acting like a normal person and avoiding me" Aaron replied. Jack was silent and seemed to think

"Then where was mister last night? miss Adira seems a little worried and waiting for master"

"I met Stella at her apartment. He called me and said he was sick and couldn't get up. So I went there to see him" Aaron replied

"But did you know that you went to see Stella?" jack asked Aaron to look back at him and start thinking.

"No. He doesn't know. I didn't tell him" Aaron replied, setting his sights forward

"I see it looks like Miss Adira is starting to like you. If miss finds out you're going to see Miss Stella. Miss Adira will definitely be jealous" Jack said, making Aaron look back at her

"You mean she knew I was seeing Stella?" ask Aaron

"That's just my guess, sir"

Aaron grabbed his phone in front of him. He opened the phone and looked for something there. He saw a message coming in from Stella that had been read. He took a long breath. He knew Adira must have read it and misunderstood him.

Aaron tried to call Adira but her phone was off. Aaron rushes to get up and tells Jack to handle all his work. He'll be home soon to meet Adira

Adira was sitting opposite Stella in a cafe. Stella called him and asked him to meet. Stella looked towards Adira who was still silent.

"I know everything Adira" Stella paused and continued, "Aaron just replaced Kevin to marry you. He doesn't love you"

The deg! Stella's words made Adira look up and look up at Stella

"Did Aaron tell you that?" adira's question was answered with a nod by Stella

"There's no secret between me and Aaron. You must know that our relationship is very close" said Stella

"Yes. I know" said Adira. "So what's your purpose in asking me to meet here?"

Stella stared intently at Adira "Detach Aaron. He deserves to be happy"

Adira blinked her eyes, holding back her tears from coming out.

"You don't love Aaron either, do you? So what are you guys doing together for?" said Stella

"I know, without you telling me, I'll do it" Adira was silent for a moment. "If there's nothing to talk about anymore. Excuse me"

Adira got up and walked away from Stella. Her tears began to drip down her cheeks.

"Hikss.. hiks...."

Adira is out of the cafe. Her tears kept dripping. His heart was very sick for the umpteenth time. He crossed the street without looking left first.

Tin... Tin... Tin...

The sound of car horns. Adira turned her head there and a car was speeding towards her.

"Aaaaaaaaa.......!!!!"
