(Not) Hide and Seek

Yuan parked his car in the parking lot of the apartment building where Rose lived.

“Rose, are you okay? Why just shut up? Are you still mad at me?” yuan asked as he walked slowly closer to Rose's bed.

“Rose.” called Yuan when he reached the left side of the bed, opposite the sileut of someone who looked dressed in white.

“Yuan? Why are you in my room?” ask Rose.

But strangely, the voice came from the entrance of the room, instead of coming from the figure in white clothes before Yuan at this moment. That fact, made Yuan immediately turn his head with a heart that had started running a marathon.

When Yuan turned his head, Rose was standing at the door of his room carrying a plastic bag that seemed to contain food.

Seeing Rose standing at the door of the room, Yuan was astonished and confused.

If the one standing in front of the door was Rose, then who was the person in white clothes I saw sitting on the bedside of Rose earlier? — Inner Yuan who had shuddered in horror.

But because of his high curiosity, Yuan then turned his head slowly. Yuan turned his head back towards the bed, ascertaining whether the sileut of the white-clothed person was still there or not.

Yana was seen smiling with a grin, she looked at Yuan fearlessly.

Slowly, Yuan descended from Rose's bed, then walked towards the exit of the room.

But when he passed by Yana who was wearing white clothes, namely a sleeping dress. Yana looks smiling smirk towards Yuan, making the man feel like pulling Yana's long, kuntilanak-like hair.

“Yuan, hurry.” said Rose, he was impatient to wait for Yuan who was seen pausing to look at Yana sharply.

“Yes yes, I came out.” Yuan said, the man was then seen coming out from inside Rose's room.

After Yuan came out, Rose closed the door to her room again, but before the door closed, Rose seemed to throw her thumb at Yana.

“Good joke Yana.” Rose said through her gaze.

Yana also smiled widely while fusing her index finger with her thumb to form a small circle. “Of course.” says Yana lirih.

After that, Rose closed the door to her room. Then turned to look at Yuan who seemed to be sitting on the dining table chair while staring blankly ahead, the man seemed to still be hit by heavy shock because of the act of Yana earlier.

“What do you need to come here?” ask Rose.

“Absolutely cannot yes if I come to the residence of my own girlfriend?” ask Yuan.

Rose sighed, then walked over to Yuan, not actually wanting to get close to Yuan, but Rose just wanted to put her groceries on the dining table which happened to be near the man.

“It's not like that I mean, I asked about your purpose in coming here. What brings you here?”

“Have you forgotten about our fight this afternoon?” ask Yuan.

Rose was silent for a moment, but then she seemed to exhale.

“I forgot about it quickly. Yes, it was all thanks to Yana who had comforted me and straightened my mind. But I think my decision to stop working at your mother's restaurant was good. Because tomorrow I'm starting an internship. Yana said, interning at her father's law firm was in salary, although not a full salary but it was quite high.” said Rose.
