“Ma,” call Yusen when Rose is pouring her drinking water.

“Yes? Do you want anything?” ask Rose.

“That man, that man named Yuan, what he— ”

The sound of the house bell echoed, Yusen was forced to stop his words.

“You continue eating. Mama open the door first,” Rose said as she rubbed Yusen's head, then moved away from the dining table.

Arriving at the main door of his house. Rose unhesitatingly opened the door handle.

The first expression engraved on his face was shock.

“Yuan? Why are nights like this you come to my house?” rose asked with her frown.

Yuan, the man was silent, without saying a word, Yuan barged into the house.

“Yuan, what— ” Rose said was cut off when her brown eyes caught the big black suitcase that Yuan pulled into her house.

“Paper that— you might not want to stay here right?” ask Rose.

Yuan looked at him. Through the bright lights of his house. Now Rose could clearly see how disheveled the face of the man before her was.

Fine hair that has not been shaved, eyes that have not been normal again, and also, the hair that is messy even though it looks charming in the eyes of Rose, but still seeing the chaos made Yuan seem very pitiful.

Rose sighed, a feeling of unbearability engulfing her heart. He was eager to drive the man away for the comfort of his children. But looking at Yuan's current condition, Rose couldn't possibly do it.

The woman then shifted her eyes. He looked at his two twins from the wide bulkhead of the divider ornamental shelf. The two children were still sitting in the dining chair on the left side of the room.

“They were mad at me, they also just came out of the room after a day of confining themselves. Do you want to make them angry again?” obviously Rose. He thought it best to be honest with the man before him.

Yuan was silent, then he followed Rose's gaze, looking at his two children who were now also staring at him.

“Even if I have to kneel before them, I will. I am their father, they are my children, I cannot stand still after eight years of being an irresponsible man and father,” Yuan said without taking his eyes off Yusen and Yuna.

As for the two twin sisters, they could only shut up and wait.

Yusen, all day he locked himself up, l. Much of what Yusen thought about today's events. Now he has made the decision. But, looking at the figure of that man who looked similar to him. The anxiety came back to haunt his heart.

“Do we have to go to room?” yuna asked, whispering.

Then, the little man turned to his twin brother who was five years older than him.

“As long as you locked yourself in the room earlier. We share a short message right?”

Yunara nodded.

“You still remind us of our decision?”

Yunara nodded her head again.

“We'll see how fast he is to be our father. Whether he deserves it or not, we have to judge for ourselves,” Yuna said, saying the deal they made.

“Therefore, we see directly. We're pretty much acting like a jury, neutral. Never show that we accept it, but do not show too much that we reject it,” said Yuan, saying in a small tone.

Returning to focus on Rose and Yuan, the two adults, they were still quiet in place.

Yuan was still staring at the two children with sparkling eyes.

“You take good care of them,” Yuan said after a few minutes of silence.

“Knowing this, it feels sad. They can grow well without a father figure,” Yuan said again.

Rose exhaled her heavy breath.

“Because I tried so hard to be a mother and father figure simultaneously. I take care of them, raise them, give them affection and also support them,” honest Rose, she is actually shedding her pent-up grievances.

Guilt was growing deep in Yuan's heart. He wanted to hold the body of the woman in front of him. But, the sense of inappropriate makes him undo the desire.

“Sorry, sorry that I came too late,” Yuan said.

“You've heard a very common word?” tanya Rose, “Better late than not at all,”.

“Perhaps, I will be more disappointed in you and also they will be less accepting of you if you never come in our lives,” Rose added.

“Sorry,” Yuan said as he lowered his head.

A great guy. Praised and flattered are his daily meals. No one dared to touch him.

Treasures, thrones and women he could have obtained in just the blink of an eye. But all of that is worth it just because of one word, love.

Not blind love, not teenage love. But, a sincere love of an extraordinary figure, a pure love of a simple figure.

As far as distance goes, for whatever time of separation, their hearts remain theirs, sincere and pure.

Though waiting and searching make their hearts hurt and their lives empty. But, their firmness makes the love that dwells soon fade, it gets brighter and continues to burn all the time.

“Meet them, and say something. But I can't guarantee that they'll accept you. Therefore, before that, expand your heart,” Rose said as she walked past Yuan. The woman went first to approach her two children.

“Ray,” call Ana, she breaks into her husband's study.

The elderly man stood up as a voice he liked called out.

“Yes? What's up?” ray asked as he removed his cylindrical glasses.

“Did you see Yuan? Did he leave? Does he say goodbye to you?” ask Ana to her husband.

Ray, who did not understand, frowned, then moved from his chair, then walked up to Ana, who was standing across from his desk.

“Pacify yourself and explain to me slowly,” said Ray, gently.

Ana let out a breath, silent for a moment. After that, he started talking, “So I went to Yuan's room, but he wasn't there. Even his closet was open and all his clothes were not there. I know that Yuan rarely goes home. But he never packed his clothes. I was worried about her,” honest Ana, moaning.

Ray is now standing before his wife. He held his wife's body warmly, gently rubbing Ana's back to calm her down.

“He is an adult. We just celebrated his thirty-third birthday. So no need to worry about it. I know you love Yuan so much, and so do I. But remember, now that he is a father, he can think in his own adult way,” said Ray, calming.

“Maybe he is currently struggling to treat his regret and guilt,” said Ray while continuing to give a sense of calm to his wife.

A moment later, Yuan seemed to be silent in his place.

But then, the man walked up to Rose with his two children. Yuan paused for a moment to remove the suitcase, putting it in the middle of the room. Then he stepped back his feet, approached and now stood in front of his three loved ones.

However, somehow, the man felt himself to be mute instantly. Yuan did not know what to say and started his words from where.

“Why just shut up? Why not say something? If you have anything you want to say, just say it. But if Uncle just wants to be silent like a statue, better Uncle just come out of this house,” Yusen murmured with a cold expression.

Yuan smiled faintly, he looked at the two children in turn. Even if he looked at them, he would never be satisfied. They are like beautiful gemstones.

“Papa has no home, can Papa stay here?” ask Yuan.
