Reason (part two)

The black sedan was parked in the courtyard of the Gavin family home.

A middle-aged man came out from inside. A respectful greeting from his subordinates followed every step of his foot.

Ray went into his house with his face raised. Demonstrate endless authority.

“Jim.” call Ray on a security chief of his home.

“I'm here, Big sir. What do you need?”

“Go to a waiter named Penny to come to my work space.”.

“Good, Big sir.” said, taking orders from the employer. Jim then took a few steps back, moved away from Ray, then turned around and began to carry out the middle-aged man's orders.

“Sekertaris Chenli.” call Ray while turning to his secretary who is behind him.

“Ya, Chairman?”

“You go back to the company. Take some of the reports that have to be signed and stamp by Yuan. Then give me all those reports.”

“Good, Chairman.” replied secretary Chenli.  “I'm sorry.” part. He then left in front of the boss.

After giving orders to his subordinates. Ray put his foot back on. Slowly he climbed the stairs.

In front of her room and Ana. Ray paused for a moment. He stared at the closed door in silence. His romantic memories with his wife, randomly entering his memories. Missing Ana's affection and warmth was inevitable from her heart.

“Wait a minute. Be patient in a moment, Ana, Yuan.” muttered Ray, then stepped back into his study.

Inside the workspace there was absolutely no change in the decor. Ray sat in his proud chair. There he sat pensively staring at a small photo on his desk. It's a picture of the Gavin family.

There everyone was smiling happily. She is Ana, Yuan, stepmother, Alex and Nana. A portrait taken six years ago.

The longing for reminiscing about something pleasant made his heart feel tight. Tears can no longer be avoided.

Geck. Geck. Tok

The sound of knocking on the door made Ray aware of the world today. He quickly wiped his tears. Then breathe out slowly.

“Masuk.” order.

Not long after his order was said. The door of the room was open. A middle-aged woman in her maid outfit entered the room with her head bowed, she was afraid. His steps seemed to tremble, as if he was facing a death trial.

“What do you call me, Lord great Ray?” he said with a trembling tone.

“Yes. I was looking for you. I've received a report from you. Is it true that Yuan asked you to send a message to a woman named Rose?” ask Ray.

“You read the letter?” ask Ray, again. His tone even though he said like an ordinary person. But for people who are at the lower level will feel that he is pressing every sentence with a threat.

The waiter, named Penny, quickly bent his knee. As for Ray, he was not surprised at all by the knee action of his subordinates.

“Ampun, Big sir. I don't mean to read the contents of the message that Young Master Yuan wrote. I— ”

“I have no intention of blaming you for reading Yuan's message. I'm just asking, have you read it? All the messages Yuan wrote, have you read them all?” said Ray.

“Good, Big sir. I pledge. I promise.” replied the waiter.

“Good.” said Ray. “Then give the paper containing the message to me.”.

“Iya, well, big sir.” The waiter then seemed to reach into his pants pocket. After getting what he's in. He immediately gave the paper with the message Yuan had written to Rose to her master, Ray.

“This, Big sir.” said, while thrusting the paper.

“Put it on the table and leave. Don't forget to meet Jim, tell him that I told him to compensate you for reporting this to me.”.

“Good, Big sir. Thank you, thank you very much.” that expression sincerely came out of his lips.

Penny turned around and walked out of the room. But before stepping out, he had a glimpse of the paper.

I'm sorry young master. I was forced to do this because I also needed money for me and my family to live. Sorry young master.

“Sarah?” call Rose when she accidentally sees Sarah who seems to be sneaking out of the house.

Sarah walked over to Rose. He patted Rose on the shoulder with both hands.

“Rose, listen to me. I have to apologize to you because I can't tell you where I'm going. But I promise, I'll be right back. I just want to find out what really happened to President Yuan. Because actually he has not given me any news for a long time.” said Sarah.

“Can I come with you?” ask Rose. No, it's not a question, it's a request. Rose begged him.

Sarah looked at Rose while sighing her weight, “Sorry Rose. The thing is, before President Yuan left, he advised that this island is the safest place for you. So you better stay here until the conditions out there are stable.” he said.

Rose was silent, knowing that she could not get out of this place.

It used to be possible that this place was like a small world that was so beautiful to her and Yuan. But now, this place is like Azkaban prison. He will not be able to get out of here easily, because when he forced to come out as if out there there will be many happiness-sucking dementors waiting for him.

“Rose...” call Sarah slim.

Then Rose smiled, she tried to make sense of the situation, trying to ignore the unpleasantness in her heart.

“Alright, I understand. Go, Sarah. But you really should go back. You can't possibly let me be alone in this place, can you?” said Rose.

Sarah nodded with a smile that adorned her face she said, “Sure, I will definitely return. Wait for me for three days, after which you'll see me again. It would be best if you could also meet with President Yuan back.”

Ray stepped out of his room. However, just as he opened the door of the room, he was startled by Yuan's figure standing there.

“Dad has no time for that. Dad wanted to see Mommymu.” he said, interrupting Yuan's words.

“Mommy is sleeping.” Yuan said, stopping Ray's footsteps who had just walked a few steps.

Ray turned, then turned to face Yuan.

“Dad, please cancel my engagement with that woman. Does Daddy not know what Rue is like? Saying his name alone I already feel nauseous.” Yuan said without further ado.

“Is that what you hate with her?” ask Ray.

“I don't hate him. Great and beautiful people are worthy of hate. I just don't like his disgusting attitude. Dad, he's like a white fox. It should be this great Dad, not to be fooled by him.” Yuan said.

“Come?” Ray repeated the word back, “Did you know anything about him? Ah no, he means, do you know anything about the Jhoneq company?” ask Ray.

Yuan frowned, “What does Daddy mean? Is there something about that company? What is possible— ”

“You don't think too much Yuan. Never mind, Dad has to go.” said Ray, back interrupting the words of the child.

God, I almost broke my own plan just because of the word 'change'. Huh...

Ray turned back to Yuan again.

“Dad, I hope Dad will consider these words of mine. Dad should know that I can never open my heart to anyone but a Rose. Dad, Daddy once felt what his name was sad when he had to part with a loved one, right? Right now, I feel the same way as Daddy did.” Yuan said.

He was silent for a moment, then again said, “It feels like there is a big hole in my chest. There is nothing less than my soul. Something is missing from me. Daddy's never felt that, did he?”

Ray was silent, he was not moving either. He was silent to hear the words of the child that were so heartbreaking. Her sadness and past memories of her having lost Ana in childhood made Ray feel the tightness back in his heart, which is what Yuan felt, Ray understood.

But will their fate be the same? Father and son, will they really feel the pain of having to face the test of destiny that makes them have to part with loved ones?

Without saying anything. Ray moved his legs, away from Yuan who sounded sobbing, there was no doubt for him to cry in front of his father. But unfortunately, his pure tears would only be wasted.

“Large master, the helicopter you want to use is already prepared. You can already leave now.” said a guard.

Ray, who had just walked out of his house, looked back, staring at the house in silence.

Dad couldn't do much Yuan. Forgive Dad. But this is all for the good of your future.

“As long as I'm not home. Please take good care of my wife and children.” said Ray.

“Ah yes, keep an eye on all domestic workers. If anything suspicious report to me.”.

The bodyguard nodded while bowing his head respectfully, “Good, big sir.”

“Good, then lift your head and straighten your shoulders. Take good care of those two people who mean so much to me. If there is an inch of wounds on their bodies, I will not forgive you.” said Ray.

“Good, Sir, I understand.” he said.

After that, Ray left, got into his car and headed to the helicopter takeoff area that had been prepared for him.

Rose took her breath. An object with a propeller on it flew away from the island where it lived.

Now he was alone, no one accompanied him. Alone on a private island. It's like someone who's stranded.

The empty feeling that previously existed, is now widening. He only hoped that this wait would lead to happiness.

From up there, around the white clouds, Sarah looked down, she was currently in a helicopter that would take her back to her home country, Indonesia.

I had to borrow a helicopter belonging to my annoying twin brother in order to return to Indonesia. If this is the case, I must not waste the opportunity.

First I have to find out what happened to President Yuan. Second, I have to take it back to Rose. But, definitely not that easy.. — Sarah sighed.

A few minutes away, Ray finally arrived at his intended destination. He then climbed onto the roof of the Tnp group company building. There is a runway area for helicopters, there is also a helicopter parked, waiting for him and ready to leave.

“Chairman, do you really want to go to that place?” secretary Chenli asked, he immediately approached his boss when Ray had just arrived there.

“Yes, I have to make an investment for my son's future happiness.” Ray replied as he stepped inside the helicopter.

After getting into it, Ray started wearing his seat belt and also the headphones available.

“I won't go long, take care of the company for me.” shouted Ray on the sidelines of the noise from the helicopter propeller.

Secretary Chenli seemed to nod, then bowed respectfully as the door of the helicopter closed.

Not long after, the helicopter slowly flew upwards and went away.

“Badahat this afternoon he just had a dialysis.” muttered secretary Chenli as he sighed.

Fourteen hours later.

Rose looks like she is staring at a rabbit eating her carrot plant. Usually people will be angry if the garden is damaged. But not with Rose, the woman instead smiled happily because the figure of the small animal as if to drive away the sepals.

“Eat a lot.” says Rose.

But then, the white rabbit left as if something had to make him hide behind the bushes.

“Eh, where do you want to go?” Rose looked confused by the rabbit. But then, his focus on the rabbit was sidetracked when he sensed a strong wind was greeting him.

Rose raised her head up, narrowing her eyes as she stared at the helicopter that was about to land.

“Sarah?” muttered Rose, “Why did he come back so fast?” Rose asked in confusion.
