The Debt Redeemer

The Debt Redeemer
52. Unbelievingly

Milla scrunched her forehead. He immediately confused Deka's intention.

"Don't believe? Wh why? It's not that she's very nice." Milla responded in favor of Agatha.

"I know he's helped us this far. But trust me, it's just a ruse. He's not that good."

"Deca, don't say as if you know him. He's not so good. But he wants to help me. Didn't you see last night? He even easily introduced me to an important person in this country. Though I can't necessarily give her anything in return."

"That's the problem. Why would that person help you when he knows you can't repay him. Helping you is like finding the quickest way to end your life."

The words of Deka made Milla's heart slightly sad to hear it.

"What do you mean? I was that disaster? And you who helped me are the losers?"

"uh, buk-that's not what it means. Sorry if my parable is ugly, I'm not a person who is good at stringing words. I just wanted to say that the man has no advantage in helping you, but why does he insist on helping you."

"What's wrong with helping others? My father and he already know each other, so is it wrong for us to help each other?"

Apparently Milla even ride apitam because of Deka. The man had forgotten what the real attitude of the woman in front of him was. He should have remembered their first meeting. She is an angry woman.

"That's natural, but in this case it's different. It's not that I don't want to thank you, let's just say I'm afraid that everything turns against you."

Milla raised her tone. I don't know why he couldn't control his emotions right then and there. While Deka could only fall silent. He had to know how to get Milla to understand. He is not good at putting together words that are easy to understand.

"Why are you silent. It's not that I'm not grateful, but I never even asked for your help in the past, but you came to help me. Wouldn't you be easier to avoid this if you didn't help me? Even now you are still helping me. Isn't that the same as Uncle Agatha?"

Hearing that made Deka rub his face rough. He was afraid that this debate would even hurt Milla's feelings.

"A, that, that, you crying?" ask Deka back when she realized Milla was shedding tears.

Milla swiftly wiped away her tears. Looks like Agatha's help means a lot to Milla. Deka forgot to estimate how the mental state of the woman. He was too busy on unnecessary things to forget that the weak woman had just escaped death. Deka should have been more willing to open up and listen to Milla instead of letting her.

"Ti-no," answered Milla briefly.

Deka walked over to Milla. This is purely his fault, mentally this woman is weak why she even railed against his decision. He should support her and provide support. Didn't he promise to help Milla on himself.

"I'm sorry" cried Deka as she knelt before the woman.

"What's the apology for. You are innocent. That's not what you think, these tears don't come out because of you. I'm just flickering."

"Huh, okay. Let's just forget about that. Now I'll try to trust that person more, but if anything, please let me know. Don't hesitate to ask for my help. I'll definitely help you."
