The Debt Redeemer

The Debt Redeemer
37. Looking for a Shelter

Milla covered her face with both hands. He was very frustrated and confused about what to do. Why do so many people in the world do not want to exist. It felt like the calamity that had befallen him was a boomerang for his behavior in the past.

I could not feel her tears flowing down her face. Milla's getting less and less powerful living this life. It felt so weak and helpless. The questions in his brain were focused on what he should do. He had no thoughts about his father's property. Just take the treasure, but not with his life. He was too scared to die.

Suddenly a cold object hit the head of the back of Milla.

"Drink first,"

It turned out to be Deka who was carrying a bottle of cold drink. Milla immediately turned up.

Deka thrust the bottle into Milla's slightly wet cheeks because of the tears.

"Here," Deca asked Milla to take the drinking water she held.

Milla took the bottle.

"Not to worry. You're not alone." Imbuh Deka while wiping tears on Milla's cheek.

Not to forget also Deka has opened a bottle of Milla's drink so that the woman is easy to drink.

Deka stared at Milla who was drinking. He realized that this was very hard for a woman like Milla. Everything felt like a calamity came continuously on the woman. Despite the marriage contract they both feel like doing something for Milla. At least help him to live a quiet life.

"Hhhmm, okay, I'll help you. It seems that helping you to escape all this trouble is not against our contract." Inner Deka.

"Then, is there another solution?" Deka asked after seeing Milla finished drinking.

Milla just nodded. He really doesn't know what to do. The only person closest to helping him was Uncle George. But contacting him at this moment was futile. Because Uncle George's family went abroad for business as well as for the care of aunt Mary.

"Are you out?" It was Deka's turn to ask while standing from her seat.

"Yes,"

"Then we better go back. Too long out in the open will harm us."

Mila agrees, with Deka's help, they both go out of the mall. Deka stopped a taxi for them to ride. Deka was lucky yesterday before running away had brought enough money. So, they do not have to worry too much about eating and transportation the next few days.

In the taxi Deka directs the driver to go in which direction. And they immediately rushed back to where they had stayed last night.

"For what?"

"For that one and the drinking water." Milla seemed shy to express her gratitude to Deka.

"Oh, that. No need to thank. That's not what I'm supposed to do,"

"yes, thank you anyway."

Deka a little tangent karenna suddenly Milla threw her face to the other side.

"hhmm, okay. You're welcome."

There was no further conversation between the two men. Until they get on the road to the boarding house where they stopped last night.

Deka glared at the front road to the boarding house last night carefully. He felt something uncomfortable. And sure enough, from a distance Deka could see two black cars already parked blocking the entrance into the cost. He also vaguely saw a group of men dressed the same as the man in the cafe earlier.

"Silight just keep going." Deka swiftly told the driver to keep going.

"Oh ready. How come in front of it is crowded, yes" replied the driver looking in the direction that was noticed by Deka.

Milla who heard that was immediately shocked. Before he could speak, Deka quickly grabbed Milla's head so as not to be too visible from outside the window.

"Maybe there's a blasphemy, sir." Answer Deka.

"Shut up in this position for a while, I think they've surrounded the place last night." Whisper Deka to Milla so as not to misunderstand.

Milla nodded. In fact he darkened his face into the chest of the Deka field to make it more invisible from the outside glass.

"Oh, pantes." replied the driver who was indifferent to the situation.

Deka is quite shaved to get a driver who is not chatty. So he didn't need to explain things in detail.

"Well, they found us quickly. Do I have to call Leo for shelter." Inner Deka as their taxi car crossed the boarding house they stopped by last night.
