The Debt Redeemer

The Debt Redeemer
31. Blurred

"You're a strong woman, Milla. You can definitely get through this. I'm here to save you," said Deka trying to make the woman in his arms calm.

After a bit of calm, Deka took off her embrace and rubbed Milla's remaining tears on the woman's cheeks.

"Have you gone?" Tanya Deka made sure of Milla's condition. The woman nodded.

"All right, I know you're still in shock. But we can't stay here we have to get out of here." Connect Deka.

"Ke, why?"

"I'm sure those who are here aren't all of the people who are after you. If not, we better think so. You must have tried to contact my uncle, right?"

"Yeah, yeah. But still can't."

Milla's words made Deka more convinced by her alibi.

"That means my guess is strong. Outside this mansion was someone who used a tool to ruffle through the network that was here. We won't be able to contact anyone if we're still here."

Milla was surprised by that fact. How could they have survived if no help had come.

Deka poked softly on Milla's forehead.

"Calm down, I'm here. I'll make sure you get you somewhere safe. You believe me, right?" I don't know what Deka's plan is, but he's sure he can save Milla from here.

Milla was silent for a moment. If the question of whether he could trust Deka, he would certainly be offended. But that is if he is in his usual condition. In this condition, he will eliminate his ego. Believe it or not, Milla is not sure. At least from Deka's voice, he realized that this man was capable.

"yes." Milla replied without hesitation.

"Good, let's hurry. Still strong walking?"

Deka clasped Milla's hand and helped her to stand up.

Deka quickly forgot about it and walked towards the body of the man who had shot him. He took out all the weapons he could use - not least a bulletproof vest - in preparation for the bad. While looting in the body of one of the criminals, Deka found a tattoo like he was familiar with.

"Ekhm, De, Deka." Call Milla from behind. Looks like he's done.

"This is your jacket. Thanks." Milla hands Deka's jacket.

"You just wear it. You need it more than I do."

Deka checked the remaining bullets in the weapon he took not forgetting to bring some additional ammunition.

"You got a gun?" Milla looked scared when she heard Deka cocked a weapon in her hand.

"Yes. And this is a gun for you and wear this." Deka gives Milla a semi-automatic pistol and a bulletproof vest.

"Ak, I can't."

"This is just in case. Those who draw swords at you first are ready to die. So, you don't have to worry."

"No. It's not that problem. Ak, I can't see them."

Deka smiled hearing that.

"You don't need to know who your enemy is, miss. When you are threatened to use it. That's the automatic function of a weapon."

Inevitably Milla accepts it and wears a bulletproof vest. Deka kept the gun behind the jacket Milla was wearing.

"It seems you are ready. Let's get out of here,"
