The Blooming Lotus
Acquittal

Frans finished operating on his emergency patient when it was eight o'clock at night less than fifteen minutes. There is still time, he thought. Then he dialed Wenie's cell phone number, but not to mention his call connected suddenly he realized that before the girl's phone had been badly damaged.

So without wasting any more time he immediately looked for his car keys in the drawer of the work desk and immediately left the hospital. The journey would take thirty minutes at his current speed.

When he arrived at Wenie's boarding house, Frans did not get out of the car. It seemed like the host was having a lot of guests tonight and before going down he slightly judged his appearance. It was still pretty neat even though it had not been an afternoon shower. God, he had even forgotten something as important as that from earlier. But, yes, that's ...

The man stepped foot confidently and greeted without hesitation. Then, without being prevented again all eyes turned to him, apparently they were only Wenie's boarding friends who were gathered to welcome the girl's return this afternoon.

"Doctor Frans .. please come in!" exclaim mom Rahma cheerful.

Frans had a small smile on the doorstep waiting for the host to come closer to regret it. He did not intend to enter now, because the room was full of curious-faced girls.

"It's okay, I'm here .." he said after confronting the hosts. "Looks like I didn't see Wenie, Mom?" looks looking.

Madam Rahma smiled knot. "Hm, he's been to the kitchen for a while to grab a snack. Once you happen to come, let's sit inside, Doc," he asked kindly.

"Yes thank you, Mom. I will wait for Wenie here alone .." reject her once again politely.

Ms. Rahma understood, she did not want to force her guests. "Oh, alright .. Then please sit down first, Doc. For a moment I called Wenie," he said, pointing to a set of patio chairs.

Frans nodded small, then he sat there alone. Ignoring the girls inside who were busy whispering about him. A few minutes later Wenie appeared with two glasses of cold syrup and a plate of cookies.

"Mas, has it been since?" greet Wenie with a smile. He put his luggage in a coffee table bag and sat across from Frans.

The man looked at the clock on his left wrist. "Not an hour .." joked Frans.

Wenie chuckled softly then sat herself down across from Frans' chair. "Ah, it could be. Please drink it ..."

"Actually I was here to take you out" said Frans directly. "But it seems ..."

Wenie was stunned for a moment. "All my boarding friends are gathering, Mas. It's not good if I just leave," he said rather lethargic.

"Yes, I know ..." Frans looked softly. "Then we're out for lunch tomorrow. I'll pick you up, how?"

"Hm, how are you?"

Frans was impatient. "Come on, yeah ..."

Wenie rolled her eyes as if thinking, Frans stared anxiously. "Hm, fine if Mas pushers ..."

"Good! That's my new girl ..." Frans spontaneously tuned his chin in delight. "That's it, lama ..."

"Oh, what the hell, Mas ..." Wenie too late dodged Frans' ignorant touch, now she felt her cheeks tighten with embarrassment.

The man always acted spontaneously, making Wenie often feel wrong, but Frans really enjoyed it all without feeling guilty.

I don't think time is approaching half ten in the evening. Frans stretched his body for a moment, Wenie stared in admiration. The athletic body wrapped in a clean white shirt with rolled arms looks sexy in his eyes.

"Cape, Mommy?"

Frans looked over with a sweet smile. "Not really, just a little stiff because of just sitting ..."

"Hm, I'm sorry .." the girl was a bit guilty.

"For what?"

Wenie shrugged her shoulders. "Because not so go out maybe?"

Franciscans thinning lips. "Actually you have to replace tonight with lunch tomorrow" he said casually. "Remember, you promised, you know .." he added quickly.

Wenie's reflexes clenched her lips back, just as she was about to deny but apparently Frans was very perceptive. With an annoyed smile he finally gave up this handsome man's disc.

"OK, okay .. I'll go with you," Wenie said resignedly.

Frans smiled triumphantly. "Then I go home, you rest. Don't stay up ..." he then got up from sitting and pinched Wenie's cheek.

"Aaww, sick ..." The girl pretended to grimace while stroking her cheek

Frans stepped closer, then leaned over to Wenie who was still sitting on the chair. He kissed the girl's cheek in the blink of an eye.

"Still sick?" frans asked, holding a smile.

Wenie pecked, her brain seemed suddenly paralyzed because it got a sudden attack and unfortunately her small body also seemed not to refuse in the slightest.

"Hey!" Frans snapped a finger in front of his face. "You okay?"

Wenie stammered. "Eh yes, Mas .." he blushed in shame. "Mas is so happy to ngagetin people iih ..."

Frans smiled widely at her, it seemed like the girl before him easily blushed even though he knew Wenie was not that stupid.

After leaving for boarding mother and Wenie's friends, Frans immediately went home. As usual, Wenie drove him to the gate and was still standing outside the fence until Frans' car was out of sight.

"Come, honey. It's night .." call Rahma's mom from the doorstep.

Wenie turned her head and immediately entered and locked the gate. "Yes, Mom. A minute ..."

The living room looked quiet and had been tidied up, there were no more messy food marks like when they were gathering earlier. Looks like Wenie's friends have already entered each other's rooms.

"Don't sleep too late, Wen," said Rahma's mother. "You still need to rest."

Wenie nodded obediently. "Yes, Mom. Wenie wants to go to bed now." But his steps stopped in the middle of the stairs. "Mom, tomorrow afternoon can I leave for a minute?"

"Where?"

"Either, Ma? Mas Frans wants to take lunch .." said Wenie carefully.

Madam Rahma smiled knot. "Can. The important thing is that you are good at carrying yourself, yes. Careful," message.

Wenie smiled widely. "certain. Thanks, Mom ... Now Wenie sleeps first yes," she said cheerfully.

Bu Rahma nodded small while staring at the departure of her boarding child that one. So many things have happened to him in the past few years. And of course it disturbs his maternal instinct to always be ready to protect every girl who lives in his house, maybe it is also part of the risk of the cost owner?

Prasetyo's redemption day went smoothly and without much drama, he along with Rafael and a legal advisor came out with a heart of relief. But of course in Prasetyo's mind is not that easy he feels satisfied, although it looks calm but his body gestures show the opposite. He was very upset about something.

Rafael tries to stay indifferent and focuses on driving his car to the hotel where his wife is. Yes, the younger cousin intends to invite Prasetyo to rest for a while before returning to Jakarta. Of course, Mr. Wiryo, the legal advisor, agreed with the idea.

"Order something, brother. I'll call my wife first" Rafael told Prasetyo. "Father also please order, do not hesitate .." he continued on Mr. Wiryo.

The middle-aged man nodded politely. "Thank you Mr. Rafael .." then he ordered a cup of black coffee and some cookies on the waiter who recorded the order.

While Prasetyo still did not want to order anything, but finally he asked for cold water to relieve his blood pressure is still high. The waiter immediately returned with their order carried in a tray of shiny stainles.

"Fael ..." call Prasetyo. "Do you know where Wenie is now?"

Rafael seemed to weigh in for a moment. "He's in a safe place. You take it easy, Brother ..."

Prasetyo looks unhappy. "A safe place? Tell me clearly, don't play me ..."

"Ck, you're so grumpy. He's safe in his boarding house, satisfied?" rafael is a bit sarcastic. "Forget him a moment, brother. Rest your body and mind first so that this problem is soon finished," Rafael does not care about Prasetyo's sharp gaze on him.

Prasetyo leaned his back against the sofa while massaging his temples slowly, his face full of tension. He breathed a rough breath considering all the events of yesterday that were very upsetting. If only he had managed to take Wenie out of town, maybe the story would have been different. It was impossible to end up overnight in that gloomy cell.

Even though it was only last night but it hurt his ego quite a bit as a man. He felt he had been defeated by Frans who incidentally was a doctor who had once treated his wife who would soon become an ex-wife. He really wants to immediately release the status of 'husband' that is currently held.

Various evil plans roamed in his mind. But he still had to be patient for a moment while waiting for the right moment.

"Darling, have you come?" a woman called Rafael, but Prasetyo automatically turned his head.

How surprised he was when he realized that not only his sister-in-law was heading towards them, but also with Istianti Maheswari, the wife.

"Yes, honey. Come here ..." Raphael sat down and spread his hands.

Beiby nodded politely at Wiryo then sat down by Rafael's side, followed by Isti on the other side of the sofa. "How are you doing Mas Pras?" greet with a friendly smile.

Prasetyo rolled his reluctant eyes. "As you can see," he didn't really answer his question.

Beiby smiled at a glance no matter Prasetyo's reaction, for him he was just making small talk and not important what his reply was like. She whispered something in her husband's ear and the man stood up to say goodbye.

"Sister, I have a little business. I'm staying a while is okay, right?" ask Rafael carefully.

Prasetyo did not like it, but he also accepted Rafael's request. "Give me the key to my room .." he said in a tone he did not want to dispute.

"This ..." Rafael gives up a pass. "My room is right next to yours."

"Hm ..."

Then Rafael said goodbye to Wiryo sir and immediately left the three of them. Before long, Wiryo also reasoned to want to go to the toilet which made Prasetyo even more irritated. Now he is only two with Isti who is still silent since coming earlier.

Then Prasetyo got up from his seat. "We need to talk, come with me .." the tone was stiff.

"Yes .." she replied. The rest she kept quiet and followed where her husband was going.

Prasetyo took the elevator to his room on the third floor of the hotel and walked quietly, his aura seemed gripping. Isti does not want to say much now although his heart is also filled with anger knowing Prasetyo's decision to divorce him for the sake of his past lover.
