The Blooming Lotus

The Blooming Lotus
Another Incident

It's been almost a week in a row that lunch deliveries always come in sufficient quantities for three.

And Prasetyo of course always controls via phone making sure Wenie eats it. He felt dead lice, could not dwell if his former lover had behaved like that.

"Actually who's sending us lunch every day, Wen?" ask Eri curious at the end of the weekend.

"Don't talk about that ah, Ri. I'm talking about it again, sorry ..."

"Iish .. not fun, ah. There's no way you can avoid him, right?"

"Eh, avoid? No, you know where you are? Sotoi ..."

"No need to pretend, Wen. I've heard it, when you called him."

"Idiih .. turns out you like eavesdropping, Ri!" wenie pretended to be angry.

"Yes, right? Right .." accused Eri of flirting.

"Not exactly ..."

Eri knocked on his chin. "It looks like he's a fierce pepper, yes .." continued Eri trying indifferently. "Serems iih ..."

Wenie raised an eyebrow, thinking for a moment. "Actually not really, Ri. He's pretty good, I'm the only one who's uncomfortable."

"Masa? But really, like that pale face of yours if you've called him ..."

Wenie could only smile bitterly not answering. They continued their steps down the sidewalk, enjoying the bustling atmosphere of Sunday night. Many street vendors and tent stalls on the roadside that sell a variety of cheap culinary delights are tempting.

The two girls bought some snacks and two bubble tea glasses before walking back to the public park in front of the multipurpose building, intending to just sit there.

Many people have filled concrete benches around the green grassy park to enjoy weekend nights like them.

"We just sit under the tree, Wen," asked Eri while pointing to a fried wood tree that grew on a rather high plateau. So that the entire park is crowded visitors can be seen from there.

"Wet not the grass, Ri? Isn't there an ant?"

"Nothing, safe. The grass is also dry," said Eri, he immediately sat down on the grass without a pedestal.

"Really?"

"Yes. Where else would you sit, try? Park more gini people," said Eri cuek. Wenie immediately followed sitting by his side while enjoying the snack he bought earlier.

Wenie bought a medium-sized kebab and a serving of spicy siomay wrapped in plastic, not to forget also a packet of her favorite barbeque-flavored chitato potato chips.

While Eri bought a complete seblak portion that is not spicy and also a plastic full of warm fried foods.

They exchanged food while telling a lot of things. There are times when the conversation stopped because Eri or Wenie read the facebook notification on her phone. Not to forget they also took a selfie, uploading his weekly night photos on the latest status of their respective instagram with funny captions.

"Oh yes, Wen. How's Anton, haven't I seen him in a long time? Is he okay," asked Eri.

"Yes, yeah. I don't know either, Ri ..."

"Who, can you? Not that you often chat with the same doi ..."

"Nor. Sometimes he comes, if I make WhatsApp status. But yes at best it does ..."

"Don't she already have a new crush huh, Wen?"

"Well, why the hell, Ri? To you very much ..." Wenie chuckles. "Don't you have a crush on her time huh? Hayo ngaku, suddenly very discuss him ..."

"Iish .. what the hell, Wen. Just hang on!"

"Yes that's it, right," woo Wenie while playing her eyebrows.

"No, it's not yes. If I have a crush on him, pity your dong," ledek Eri.

Wenie was confused. "Pity why try? I'm fine-fine, I'm ..."

"Times?"

"Yes, really."

"Seriously so?"

"Yes, Ri .." Wenie replied accordingly. "I'm still thirsty. We go there yuk, buy some water to drink," he asked as he got up.

"Lho, I just drank bubble tea, Wen," replied Eri. "I'm just waiting here, lazy path ..."

"Still less. Yes, stay here. You don't go anywhere" said Wenie as she walked.

He walked on the edge of the park carefully as there was a puddle of rain left between several parked cars. There was a small shop in the corner of the park near the motor park with several young men hanging out smoking cigarettes.

"Excuse me, Mum. Any bottled mineral water?" wenie asked the shop owner.

"Yes. Two yes, Mom," Wenie's pinta was immediately exchanged for ten thousand dollars.

As he was about to get out of the stall, a young man glanced mischievously at Wenie while blocking his way.

He tried to not care and kept going. But apparently he was apes, another young man fiddled patting his butt as he passed in front of them.

"Somse really, neng. Soak so much lo!"

"Eh brengs*k, look after your hands! Songong really, so people!" wenie shouted annoyed. He turned around and hit the plastic bag containing the two water bottles he was carrying.

The man fended it off nimbly. "Wees, too, girl!" he said to the others while whistling disgusting.

"You want what you!" wenie said while looking annoyed.

The big-haired guy stood up. "It's on the other side, is it a girl?" ask the guy earlier to friends laughing at him.

Counted at a glance they were all five people. "It's up to you, bray. I'm coming with you."

Without being commanded again three other people rose up as if besieging her made Wenie's guts faintly.

"We'll take it to basecamp, boss! Ntar we are cake, easy," said someone gave a suggestion.

"By also the idea of loe, bray," others responded with insolent laughter.

"Kuy ah, don't be late!" another one stepped closer. "It's still afternoon ..."

"Heh, are you all threatening me? Don't worry, how dare it wiggle!" maki Wenie tried to stay brave.

They chuckled, looking like unemployed young men who used to gather at the end of the alley to spend the night drinking cheap beer oplosan, faceless, and do not know manners.

The more Wenie looked so somewhat daunted as well, in the corner there was a young man who had been sitting just watching no matter what.

"Oh, so you want one on one? It could be, too, neng. Sounds cool," said the bald-headed man with a perverted face.

He was about to touch the delicate cheek of the girl in front of him who was immediately pushed aside in annoyance. While others still laugh happily as if seeing an exciting game.

"Don't poke his cheeks, bray. Don't wanna. If somewhere else would be happy .." said his friend chimed in, then they came back up.

But a moment later the atmosphere suddenly quiet. The young men were fixated quietly on the spot, as if a ghost was incarnating before them.

Wenie who was still feeling angry and scared at once did not realize someone was present behind her, standing up straight gave off a gripping aura. The next second he turned his head to follow the frightened look of the young man in front of him.

"Get in the car!" he told Wenie. His face was darkly holding back the anger.

"Mas Pras!" strangler, he gasped for a moment.

"Now!" snapped again. "I'll do the calculations for them first!"

Wenie turned her gaze to those people then looked back at Prasetyo. "Good, Mom! Don't fight, it's not balanced. We'd better just go" he said worriedly.

But he didn't bother. "How dare you touch my woman! It seems you are tired of living!" prasetyo exclaimed wrath.

Without warning again Prasetyo directly punched the perpetrator's face and when the person staggered he again gave a hard kick in the stomach. The young man fell down without having time to defend himself.

Then two people came up against him, a man who had been sitting down immediately got up to help his friend. Now he began to piqu and look angry, then he grabbed an empty beer bottle from the table to hit Prasetyo.

"Revelation, Mas!" wenie shouted to see Prasetyo being threatened. The tall, burly man turned around in time as the enemy approached and kicked him to the point of hitting the motor behind him.

The five young men fell down after getting their tantrums. No citizen intended to help, they just pass by when they know the victims are troublemakers. So did the shop owner's mother who just stared timidly from inside.

"Yes God! What's going on, Wen? You okay?" jerit Eri panicked. He immediately ran from his place a little far away when he saw the commotion in front of the stall.

"I'm fine, Ri," Wenie replied. His face looked a bit shocked. "Enough, Mom! Let's go," Wenie pulled Prasetyo's arm to stop.

Prasetyo gasped, he let out a rough sigh and turned to Wenie. "You're really worrying me! Good thing I came on time, how about late?" tanyanya.

Then the man passed by her with an angry face, Wenie could only look at her in fear. While Eri can only shake his head watching it.

"Hurry in!" pras orders once again while opening the front door of the car for passengers. "Send your friend to ride in the back."

Wenie approached doubtfully. "Wait, Mas .." she said softly. "Let me go home with Eri alone, I don't want to take care of you anymore."

His face is getting darker. "Even after this, you still want to argue with me?" prasetyo asked exasperatedly. "Lake in!" he shakes his head in anger.

Eri clasped Wenie's right hand, trying to calm her down. It's thrilling! He had never seen Wenie treated this seprotective by someone even though she was his throttling status.

In her heart, Eri became a bit scared as well, then she nodded her head at Wenie to just obey.

Not wanting to prolong the problem, Wenie finally relented, Eri immediately sat in the backseat.

A second later the car rolled off the park with the thugs helplessly sprawled on a grey Sunday night.
