The Blooming Lotus

The Blooming Lotus
Gentlemanly

When he was about to go home, Frans invited him to go back to the restaurant where they had eaten. Apparently before relaxing in the park, he had ordered a grilled gurame which is a favorite menu here with complete breakfast as a hand for Rahma's mother later.

And the atmosphere on the way home this time had already turned more familiar, the awkwardness Wenie felt began to diminish.

He received Frans's kind treatment with a flowering heart. After all who could resist the charm of a handsome young doctor like him?

Frans is a crossbred man of athletic stature, has a firm jaw, light brown eyes, and a nose full of the newly known Wenie obtained from a native German papa and a mother of Yogyakarta Palace descent.

Frans should always maintain his manners which actually gives the impression of 'cold' even though he is actually a friendly figure. What a perfect blend.

Now the clock has shown ten o'clock past fifteen minutes when Frans' car stopped in front of Wenie's boarding house. But Wenie was scared and a little doubtful, is Rahma ma'am going to scold her again this time?

However Frans was able to understand the situation before Wenie said so.

So he decided to follow Wenie down, delivering her safely to the front of the hostess.

"Let me drive you inside" Frans said, looking at Wenie's worried face.

"Seriously? I'm not feeling good, Mom. Fear of trouble ..."

"Hey, I was the one who picked you up and took you to dinner. Remember?"

"Yes, the hell ... But, I'm afraid that Mother is still angry with me because yesterday also came home late at night .." lamented.

"You don't have to worry" Frans said. "So Rahma's mother gave me permission to walk with you, so it is my duty to take you before her."

Wenie fell silent, her little heart feeling touched by Frans' explanation. He tried to strengthen his heart to believe in the words of this young doctor, Frans could not possibly tell a lie, right?

Slowly, Wenie nodded in agreement, then stepped out of the car followed by Frans who brought a package of food.

But before passing through the fence, he moved the tent in his hand to Wenie. "Don't tell me this, just tell me you bought it. Okay?"

"Lho, why? It's Mas Frans who bought it, not me ..."

"Here you go, just follow me" Frans rolled his eyes.

"Hm, okay. But Mas accompany me to get inside yeah, I'm scared of mom ..."

"Lho, this is 'would I really want to keep you, '" Frans smiled.

"Oh, yes," Wenie blushed again, feeling wronged.

They also put their feet in

the courtyard, from outside here the living room lights look still on. Maybe Rahma's mom was waiting for their arrival from earlier.

"Assalamualaikum," said Frans and Wenie almost simultaneously. Frans knocked on the door before Wenie pressed the handle then stepped in.

"Wa'alaikumsalam's chat. You're home, Wen?" answer mommy while taking her eyes off the television. It turned out that he was in the middle room, Frans and Wenie walked over.

"Yes, Mom. I'm sorry, I'm home the other night" Wenie replied.

"Oh yes, this is a gift of grilled fish for Mom," he continued, kissing Rahma's hand.

"Thank you, baby," said Rahma. "Oh, Doctor Frans! Let's sit down first, I'll make you a drink, "he'll rise to welcome you when Frans gets behind Wenie.

"Thank you, Mom. No need to bother. I just stopped by for a while to take Wenie," Frans said politely as she shook Rahma's hand.

"Ah, Doctor ... Don't be in such a hurry, just think of it as your own home," the hostess said and turned to Wenie. "You're with Doctor Frans for a minute, Wen ..."

"Don't bother, Mom. Really," stop Frans once again. "After all, it's been a night, I don't think it's good to visit for long. Next time I'll come over afternoon ..."

"Is that? Well, I feel bad about the doctor," said Rahma.

Frans shook his head while smiling lightly. "I just wanted to take Wenie and say thank you for letting me take her away for a while."

"Oh, sure. Don't hesitate, Doctor. Stop by here often if you have time," said Ms. Rahma with sumringah.

"Good, thanks. Then I say yes, Mom," said Frans. "Wen, you rest yes. Don't stay up. Okay." Okay."

"Yes. Once again thank you very much, ma'am," Wenie replied. Ms. Rahma was a bit surprised but pleased to hear Wenie's call to Frans.

"Hm, Wen. You better take Doctor Frans first to the front," he suggested gently.

"Well, ma'am," Wenie replied timidly. "Let's take you, Mas."

After nodding his head slightly to say goodbye to Rahma's mother, Frans accompanied by Wenie immediately went out of the house.

Without them knowing the mother followed from behind, but she just stood in front of the door staring at Wenie who was opening the fence for Frans.

Ms. Rahma was very happy, her hope to match her favorite boarding child with the handsome doctor her best friend's child seemed to be facilitated.

"I'm going home first, Wen. Remember, you don't stay up late" Frans said before entering the car.

"Yes, Mas. You be careful on the road huh," Wenie replied.

"certain. Yes, you go in there. Madam Rahma must have been waiting for you from earlier."

"All right, Doctor Frans. I'm going in first yeah, bye-bye ..."

"Hm, start again," Frans smiled, then he got into the car. "Good night, miss ..."

"Night is also a doctor," wailed Wenie, waving her hand, Frans chuckled behind the steering wheel and then drove away.

A minute later Wenie returned to face Rahma, she intended to ascertain whether she would still be scolded or not after this.

"Mom, aren't you going to sleep yet?" ask Wenie.

"Come .." call Ms. Rahma. "Mom wants to talk for a minute" he continued, patting the empty sofa by his side.

Wenie approached slowly, a little hesitant. "Mom's still mad, isn't it me?" tanyanya.

"Who said? You are, I haven't said anything ..."

"Hehe, yes sorry. After I was afraid of being scolded again by Mother," Wenie grinned at the horse.

"Do you still feel guilty about last night, hm?" asked Rahma's mother after Wenie sat down.

"Still, Mom. Last morning when Mom went to gymnastics, I thought you'd never see me again?" wenie said her conjecture.

"Oh, you are!" said Ms. Rahma pretended to be upset.

"But it's good that you still feel guilty ..."

"Lho's? Meaning ..."

"Don't forget, you're still in punishment. Eh, even still dare to go home at night too?!"

"Mm, that. A, I ..."

"From now on you must recite Mother's words. Especially about your relationship with Dr. Frans. Understood?!" said Bu Rahma half fierce.

"Mm, but Ma? I'm the same doctor Frans nothing. Oath ..."

"Mom knows. But in the future there will definitely be nothing," replied Ms. Rahma quickly. "Listen yes, I do not want that until you are still in touch with Prasetyo! I'd rather agree you're the same doctor Frans."

Wenie gawked, she did not understand the direction of Rahma's talk. So he just nodded while digesting the words of the mother boarding in front of him. Rahma looked anxious, but she tried to be patient.

Madam Rahma finally breathed a tired breath. "Yes, you sleep first there, I'll lock the gate in a minute while waiting for the others to come home."

"Mom don't want me to be with you?" asked Wenie, not wanting to move yet.

"Aren't you sleepy? You must be tired. It's there, go."

"No, ma'am," said Wenie, smiling with relief from being noticed. "Oh yeah, you've eaten yet? I was the same doctor Frans ate seafood, you know. That's me bringing a grilled gurame to Mom. Eaten huh?"

"Where to eat seafood? You come home the other night, thankfully the same doctor Frans. If not .." said Ms. Rahma hanging, her eyes glared pretending to be angry.

"Mother ..." Wenie whined a little.

"Just beware, if you walk again the same guy!" threaten mom Rahma.

"Yes, I promise."

"Don't be easy to promise, habit," said Rahma. "Yes already, you please get me a plate, Wen. Looks like the grilled fish is good," he continued to distract.

Now Rahma's mom looks busy opening the box containing a delicious-scented grilled gurame and tasting a little, tasting the taste. Steady!

Ms. Rahma invited Wenie to eat together but was refused on the grounds that she was still full. Not much to say anymore, now Rahma ma'am seems to enjoy her grilled fish with vegetables without rice.

Until the next ten minutes Wenie was still sitting there accompanying the housewife who was eating as she opened the messages on her phone.

Then his eyes were fixed on Frans' chat that had just entered two minutes ago. Wenie immediately replied to him and he began to see his own smiles making Rahma's mother uncomfortable, then drove him again to go to his room.

Not wanting to argue much, Wenie also passed soon after saying goodbye to the hostess. He rushed up the stairs with a happy heart even though he did not dare to expect much, he just wanted to enjoy the thrill of this feeling.

A sense of happiness that has long enough not dare to start with anyone. But this time it feels different, although maybe this is the beginning of an impossibility he still wants to try.

Spirit, Wenie!! he screamed in his heart.
