Chapter 52
Dian's face paled. He had not expected Steven to be this shameless. He had actually wrongly accused her of doing so much wrong in front of so many people.
When did he do all this?
How will he continue to stay at Greencliff after being humiliated like this? This was clearly a move to sever all his connections here and expel him from Greencliff!
"Pailer CEO..."
He tried to explain himself.
"You don't have to explain yourself!"
Steven laughed coldly. "Who doesn't know about the BMW you just bought that costs almost $500,000? You think I don't know what your salary is?"
"A few days ago you even went shopping and bought clothes for a few hundred thousand dollars - since when were you this rich? You can tell the police where you got the money from!"
"Diane, Diane, it's okay to be a little greedy, but now you're too greedy!"
Steven stated angrily, "Now I will announce that the Palmer Group will stop you, and we will call the police so that this matter can be dealt with by the authorities!"
Many directors immediately nodded after hearing this statement.
"I agree!"
"I agree too!"
"Call the police now! Send him to the authorities!"
……
They have no doubt at all. The amount Diane embezzled was enough to send her to jail for over ten years.
He had bought a BMW and several hundred thousand dollars of clothing. How could Diane afford to pay that much with her small salary!
The greed!
Diane's too greedy. Did he really think that just because he had some connections with Tom Foster, he could get away with it without punishment?
The directors looked at Diane happily in their hearts as they watched her downfall. It was so satisfying to see him fall from grace!
They were even happier when they saw how Diane's face was whitening and didn't even know how to defend herself anymore.
Now he knew how painful it was to fall from a high place and fall violently to the floor.
Everyone in the meeting room looked at Diane, waiting to see her crying, looking frightened, kneeling down and begging for mercy from all of them.
Her eyes are red. He was very disappointed in Steven and the Palmer family.
Diane did not explain herself because there was no need to explain what she did not do.
Ethan suddenly started clapping excitedly. "Bravo! Bravo!"
He pulled out his phone. "CEO Palmer, I've recorded everything you just said. You really make an interesting story."
"Hmph, Ethan, don't talk nonsense here. Everything I say is the truth, and I don't have to turn anything around!"
Steven smiled coldly. Once Diane can't stay at Greencliff and get out, Ethan will also be expelled and become a vagabond again.
"The company has a clear record of Diane's monthly salary. How do we not know how much money he has?"
"He was the sole breadwinner of his family and they could barely make ends meet. Not bad if they even get meat to eat, and now he's buying a car? Why didn't he just buy a house?"
The directors started making cynical and disrespectful comments altogether.
Ethan doesn't care about them. Instead, he began to reach into something from his pocket, and Steven immediately became wary.
Surely this lunatic doesn't carry a knife, does he?
He quickly said nervously, "What are you trying to do? If you try something funny, you will be punished! Where's the security guard? Call them quickly!"
Ethan glanced at Steven as he threw the receipt from his pocket onto the table.
"I'm sorry everything, cars, clothes, and everything else was bought by me."
He looked at Stevan. "It's just a little cash that amounts to over a million dollars and you're all working hard? Even if my wife spent 100 million dollars, it was still only a small cash. You got a problem with that?"
"Imust be!"
Steven felt like he had heard the biggest joke in the world.
Ethan is just a bum. If Archie hadn't chosen him, he would still be begging for food on the streets right now.
He got money?
And he gave it to Diane to buy BMWs and clothes for a few hundred thousand dollars?
It's amazing that Ethan managed to say something so ridiculous. Has her mental illness recurred?
Ethan slammed all the receipts on the table. "Open your bad eyes and pay close attention. If necessary, I'll call the CEO of Greencliff Bank to come and let him tell you that all this money has nothing to do with the Palmer Group."
