The Billionaire God of War
Chapter 32

Chapter 32

Ethan opened his mouth. "Say, who wants Diane to fail the most?"

William was stunned as he exchanged glances with April. It took him a while before he finally uttered, "My brother?"

"That's right, it's Steven."

Ethan explains, "He paid a hooligan five million to ruin Diane's project, or to destroy Diane directly."

William and April's expressions immediately darkened and became furious! Get angry to get angry! How could Steven do such a thing!

"If Diane manages to do this project, then she will make a big contribution to Palmers. Steven and his son definitely don't want to see this day coming."

"But by ruining this project, the loss to Palmers was huge!"

William could hardly resist crashing the table.

"So what? Palmer's group doesn't belong to the father and son yet, so if they lose, let it."

William's face was red. He knew that what Ethan said was true.

He was even more aware that his eldest brother wanted full control of the Palmer Group, so he sent their second brother, Nicolas, to Fairbanks in search of expansion opportunities, but that was just an excuse to expel him. She has found a man to marry into their family so that her own family cannot compete with Steven for business as well.

If not for the fact that the old man was still alive, Steven would have moved much earlier.

"He even wanted to destroy Diane, that was already too much!"

April is not interested in the Palmer family assets, but she will not let anyone harm Diane.

"This is not going to work. I'll talk to the old man!" April stand.

"I'm going!"

William couldn't take it anymore either. They are brothers, and Diane is Steven's niece!

How could he find it in him to do this?

He lost all his appetite and pushed his wheelchair to the door. Diane couldn't stop him either.

Ethan didn't stop it either. She tells April to wait at home while she takes William and Diane to Palmer's house.

Gerald lives on a luxurious bungalow plantation. Ethan leads them to the entrance and wants to enter with William and Diane.

"Only members of the Palmer family are allowed in."

The man at the door blocked Ethan's path, and a look of disdain flashed across his face.

"This is my son-in-law!" William replied, "Didn't that make him a family?"

In fact, it seemed that he did not care about this crippled third son.

"You ..." William was angry.

He never thought that his position in the family was so low now that even the servants looked down on him.

"Dad, I'll wait for you outside."

Ethan doesn't talk much. "Diane, come in with me."

Diane nodded and she looked regretful. He doesn't expect that Ethan can't even get through the main door, but Ethan uses his eyes to tell him that it's okay.

Diane pushes William's wheelchair into the house, while Ethan waits at the door.

He also did not plan to enter.

Ethan doesn't stop William and Diane from coming here to look for Gerald and question Steven's actions because he wants them to see for themselves that they've lost their position in the Palmer family a long time ago.

No matter how hard they work or how great the results are, it won't change anything.

"People only understand what choices they have to make once they see the truth clearly" Ethan whispered to himself.

"Stand further away! Unauthorized people and dogs should not stand too close!"

The waiter at the door saw that Ethan was still standing there and mocked, "You're just someone who's married into the family, and you really think you're a member of the Palmers!"

"Number three can barely stay in the family, and he still wants to bring someone like you home, what a joke."

Ethan turned around and looked at the waiter, then suddenly punched him in the stomach. The waiter immediately paled, held his stomach and fell to the ground.

"Can't you just shut up for a second?"

The bungalow was filled with the scent of essential oils.

Gerald was very good at enjoying life, and appreciated his days after his wife died.

He has been eating a lot of health supplements over the past few years just to keep himself alive for a few more years.

The entire living room was filled with a light aroma. Gerald felt very comfortable kissing her, but William and Diane were not used to it at all.

"Dad."

Diane pushed William in and William called out when he saw Gerald sitting on a rosewood chair and reading the Buddhist scriptures with beads in his hands.

Gerald did not even open his eyes and continued his singing, as if he had heard nothing.
