49. Disconnecting

Joan pulled up a taxi and headed to Ken's office. Every time Ken goes home to college, he's going to the office. Joan wanted to clarify Ken's attitude to her just now. "Ken! Ken!" joan called out to Ken. But in vain, because Ken's car has far left the office parking lot. Joan wakes up and with a slight limp, Joan comes out of the office yard and stops a taxi. Joan decided to go home. Actually, Joan could've been looking for Ken to her house. But they both have promised, if there is a problem between them or if they both break up, they should not make the relationship between two families bad. Moreover, Zidane and Lara are brothers, although only foster brothers, but they have grown together since childhood.

 Jhon arrived at Irgi's ward. He came in and talked for a while. Because he has to help Zidane at the cafe. Jhon was also afraid of disturbing Seren who was sleeping fast.

Fadil looked at Ken who closed his eyes. Fadil is older than Ken but he has never had a lover or fallen in love, so Fadil has absolutely no idea what to entertain. Fadil and Ken will go out of town to see the process of building an expedition service office in the city of Cirebon. The distance between Jakarta-cirebon is quite long, about five hours by private vehicle. If using public transportation, it can be six to seven hours. Fadil drives alone and sometimes turns with Ken if he is tired. Understandably, usually if out of town, they will use a driver. But their driver was sick, so, Fadil drove himself. He rarely drives far, Ken does. There was no other way, they could only alternate.

In the afternoon Seren woke up and there was only Irgi in the room. Seren got up and stepped over to Irgi's nursing bed. Seren sat by the bed. He looked at Irgi's face. Seren thinks that Irgi is unconscious. Actually Irgi just woke up from his nap. Irgi deliberately pretended to still be asleep. 

"Gie Gie, he said your injuries weren't severe. Why are you still unconscious? Wake up dong Gie" said Seren. 

"When I wake up, what do you want, baby?" irgi Goda. Seren was aghast and almost hit Irgi's arm, but Seren glazed over to see Irgi's bruised and scuffed hands. 

"Hey, I'm just kidding, don't cry, ok!" Irgi raised his hand and rubbed Seren's hair with a smile. 

"Because of me, brother became like this. Sorry," said Seren sadly.

"So, aren't you okay, why are you sad, baby? It's not your fault anyway" said Irgi. Irgi tries to sit down, but his body hurts all. Seren swiftly helped Irgi to wake up. 

"Where else?" ask Seren. 

"Everyone goes home" answered Irgi. 

"Oh. Hem, Seren's hungry. Seren order food online first," said Seren. Irgi smiled at Seren. 

Mr. Sam'un, the security guard of the Shahdan house came in and gave him a change of clothes. Lara tells Sam'un to deliver clothes for Seren. Because Shahdan was tired, so Lara did not have the heart to invite Shahdan back to the hospital. After Seren received his shirt, Sam'un went home again.

Seren cleaned himself in the bathroom and changed his clothes. Before long, Seren's food order came. Seren ate voraciously because he had missed breakfast and lunch. Seren also ordered chicken porridge for Irgi. They eat together and occasionally joke.

Joan immediately ran over and threw her body on the bed. Joan fell on her stomach, drowning her face in a pillow so that the sound of her crying could not be heard by her mother, Rina. Rina was taking care of Zidane who was sick since a day ago. Joan did not want to add to the burden of Rina's mind.

Her shoulders trembled up and down, Joan with all her might holding back her cries from being heard. That night, Joan cried until the morning. Joan did not expect that their love struggle ended with a short message. Joan loves Ken, and vice versa. But anger still wins over the love they have. Their hearts were still always defeated by anger and jealousy.
