47. Mercifully

Ken returned to the hospital after calling Andin. Ken returned to the ER room and sat down with Lara, Shahdan and Seren. Half an hour later, the Doctor came out of the ER room. They immediately stood up and Seren immediately asked Irgi's condition.

"Doctor, how's my husband doing?" ask Seren. 

"Patients have mild fractures, as well as some torn wounds in some parts of the body, but not severe. Looks like the wound was due to friction with the asphalt road. You take it easy, there are no serious injuries. We will prepare a treatment room for patients" said the doctor.

"Just put your son-in-law in the VVIP room, Doc" Syahdan said.

"Okay, sir, we'll take care of it right away. Excuse me," said the doctor. The doctor left after explaining Irgi's condition. 

Seren held onto his chest, he could breathe a little relieved. Fortunately nothing happened to Irgi, Seren felt very relieved. At first he was scared, he was afraid something bad happened with Irgi. If that happens, what will be the fate of him and their future baby. The thought raged in Seren's heart. But now that he was calm, Irgi was not seriously injured. Although Irgi was unconscious, but his condition is now fine. That was more than enough for Seren. At least, the dark shadow that had haunted him earlier, had now disappeared. Seren sat back and waited for Irgi to be taken out of the ER room.

Andin, Marinka and Ronald arrive at the hospital. They immediately went to the ER room. Marinka stepped in a hurry, she was very anxious to think about the fate of her only son. 

"That's Aunt and Om, Ma." Andin pointed towards Lara and Shahdan who were standing in front of Seren. Andin, Marinka and Ronald approach them.

"Lara, how's Irgi doing? How's my son doing?" marinka asked, holding Lara's hand.

"Irgi was injured by being gang-raped by some thugs, but he was not seriously injured. We just pray, may Irgi quickly recover," said Lara with a smile. 

"Huffh, thank goodness. I'm so worried. Where does Irgi go late at night like this, until he meets the goons?" ask Marinka curious.

"Nwidam? Seren, pregnant?" marinka asked with happy sparkling eyes. 

Lara answered him with a slow nod. Marinka stepped over to Seren and hugged him. Marinka congratulates Seren on her pregnancy. Marinka is happy for Seren and Irgi, who will soon have children. Children they have long been waiting for in their homes. Now that Seren and Irgi's wishes have been granted, Marinka prays that the baby in Seren's womb will remain healthy until he comes to the world and enliven the small family of Seren and Irgi, who are still in the family, and enliven the extended family of Lara and Shahdan, as well as Marinka and Ronald. 

The ER door opened, two nurses pushed Irgi in the gurney. The doctor who had left had prepared an inpatient consent form and gave it to Shahdan. Shahdan signed the form and handed it back to the Doctor.

"Sus, take the patient to Edelweis room no 112" said the doctor. 

The doctor went to check on the other patients in the ER room. Seren and the others follow the nurse, and Ken pushes the gurney into Irgi's treatment room. Irgi was still unconscious, on the back of his hand was attached an infusion needle. They arrived at the second floor of the VVIP room, Edelweis room no 112. The nurses tidied up the nursery bed, after they finished, they stood up like they were waiting for someone.

"What's up, Sus? Why wasn't Irgi moved to the bed?" ask Shahdan. 

"We are waiting for the male officers, we have already told them to follow. But, today, there are two patients in the ER room, it looks like they are not done yet" the nurse replied.

"Oh, so. Let us lift and move Irgi, then" said Syahdan. Ronald and Ken approached. With instructions from the nurses, they moved Irgi to the bed. The nurse regulates the speed of the infusion fluid to drip slowly, because Irgi's state is not too severe and his body is healthy. Only external injuries and minor fractures.

"Ken, Andin, you guys just go home! You still have to go to college tomorrow. After all, there are many who accompany Kak Irgi here," said Marinka.

"Right, you guys just go home" Lara added.

"OK, Ma. Ken and Andin go home, then" said Ken. Ken and Andin say goodbye to them all. Andin and Ken are discharged from the hospital. Ken went to the parking lot and picked up the bike. Ken thought, Andin followed him but when Ken looked back, Andin was not around. He was looking for Andin. It turned out that Andin was standing at the hospital gate looking down the street. Andin looks like he's waiting for someone. 

Ken turned on the motor and approached Andin.

"Andin, waiting for Jhon?" ask Ken. 

"Waiting for a taxi" replied Andin. 

"It's three o'clock in the morning, it's not safe if you take a taxi. I'll just take you!" said Ken.

"But the direction is different, I want to go home to Mama Marinka." Andin refused Ken's offer.

In the morning, Irgi woke up and was confused as he stared at the infusion needle attached to the back of his hand. Irgi closed his eyes and remembered the incident last night. Then he panicked and immediately got up to look for Seren. He remembers Seren being pulled by Elden. But Irgi undoes his intention to get out of bed when he sees Seren asleep on the long sofa. Irgi breathed a sigh of relief seeing Seren fine. 

Marinka and Lara and Ronald enter Irgi's ward. They had just returned after breakfast in the hospital cafeteria. They took Seren, but Seren didn't want to come and said he just wanted to sleep. They approached Irgi who was already sitting in bed. They greeted Irgi with gratitude. 

"Irgi, dear. Thank goodness you're awake" said Marinka. 

"Yes, Ma. Seren and the ingredients are fine, right, Ma?" ask Irgi to worry. 

"It's okay. Seren's fine, he's just sleepy. Next time, don't go out at night again" Lara warned. Marinka agrees with Lara. 

Seren was like yesterday, if it was morning he would sleep until noon without breakfast or lunch. Irgi was actually worried that Seren's stomach would have problems with his health. But they also have not checked the health of the content of Seren.

Ken's getting tidy and getting ready to go to college. He saw Andin sitting on the terrace chair with many times glancing at his watch. Ken's approaching Andin. 

"Come, Din!" said Ken. Usually Ken departs with Andin to the house of Jhon while picking up Joan, and Andin will leave with Jhon. But this time Andin did not wait for Ken, instead many times glanced at his watch. Andin was waiting for the taxi he had ordered. But after a few minutes, the online taxi reported that it could not pick up Andin because the tire suddenly deflated. 

"Just go first, Ken. I have to go to Mama's house, my painting job is left at Mama's house" Andin said. Andin stepped shut the gate of the house and walked towards the bus stop.

"I promised I'd take you last night. So, let me take you to Aunt Marinka's house first." Ken gave Andin his helmet. Andin did not answer again, he took the helmet and put it on and then the bike drove away from Andin's house. Ken actually has a job also from the business faculty. But he did not care if it had to be late for a few minutes, because he himself had promised Andin.
