Two days after Arden's departure, Kay felt lonely. There is less in his life. No taunts, no quarrels, all peaceful. When she was in the apartment, Kay visited her friend's room, but Arden was no longer there.

This isn't Arden's departure for the first time. However, his departure this time felt pitiful. Arden came to America because of a corporate responsibility, and now Arden is gone for nothing. Arden exhaled a rough breath. "Papa is stingy. Where does he want to be. He'll share it for Daren. It's better to be a leader in this company."

"God! That's not gonna happen. I love you so much. Now let go of me first. Your hug makes me cramped."

"Sorry" said Kayla.

Steve laughed, ruffling Kayla's long hair. "Jaga yourself. Don't try to tease another man."

"No will! That's not gonna happen."

"I believe in you. I gotta go, honey. Take care of yourself" said Steve.

Kayla nodded, peeking at Steve's cheek as a sign of farewell. Steve hugged Raka and Bela. Both are saddened by the return of his son-in-law. They've known each other for a long time, and Steve's a good guy.

Kayla waved as Steve got further away from her eyes. Raka embraces her daughter, calming down so Kayla doesn't feel sad.

"Let's go home" asked Raka.

"Yes, Pa," said Kayla.

Kayla separated from her parents. He looked back. Steve wasn't there, but that wasn't what made him look back. Kayla was expecting someone there.

"Why did you expect Arden to come? My brain must be in trouble" Kayla murmured.

"Kyla!" exclaim Bela.

"Yes, Ma."

Kayla ran a little closer to her parents. They left the airport for the car. It all got into a four-wheeled vehicle and passed from there.

"Pa, did Arden contact you?" ask Kayla.

"none. Why did he call Papa? Try asking Aretha," said Raka.

"But usually Arden calls. Why hasn't he called Papa yet?"

"You just ask Arden!" sela Bela's.

"Mama met with Aunt Elena yesterday. Is there a discussion about Arden?" ask Kayla.

"none. We're shopping."

"Don't ask your mother. She knows shopping," Raka said.

"Call Arden, please" suggested Bela.

"Yes, Ma. Kay will call him."

Kayla wouldn't do that. He did want to ask about Arden's news, but to contact him directly, it wasn't in his plans.
