CHAPTER 9

The morning welcomes the awakening of all the inhabitants of the earth who have been sound throughout the reigning month.

Geri opened her eyes slowly staring at the girl in her arms. The girl of his is still sleeping soundly with her eyes when she cries last night

Geri could not bear to wake her up until she just looked at her little girl's face. Uncontrollably his hand touched Carri's cheek and rubbed it slowly.

Carri opened her eyes slowly due to a tickling touch on her cheek. The little touch he never got made him feel so foreign.

"Awake? Geri smiled seeing her girl looking at him.

"I don't deserve to be in that position" Carri said in a distinctive wake-up handover.

"Whatchu mean? Geri was astonished by Carri's words.

"Just what you asked last night"

Ahaha.. Geri laughed at Carri's funny behavior. "You have no choice but to be ok!

Soon Geri got up and walked out of the room. He went to make breakfast for them.

While Carri who was confused immediately followed Geri with a bow and stand behind Geri who was doing his activities in the kitchen.

"I'm a scavenger and I don't deserve all the luxury you have" I'll be back.

Hearing that Geri became emotional and turned off the stove then looked towards Carri.

Carri was afraid again to talk until he just nodded slowly looking at Geri who was still smiling at him.

"Ok, now go take a shower and we'll go out."

Geri continued her cooking, after finishing in a neat arrangement on the table she walked to the room and found Carri was daydreaming looking at the clothes in the large closet.

"Pick what you like"Geri ripped Carri's mind off and headed to the medicine box to take the medicine that Carri had given him.

After finishing Geri who cleaned the kitchen while Carri waited for him in front of the TV.

"All your stuff is in that box" Geri pointed to the box under the TV drawer.

Soon Carri walked towards him and dismantled the box. There is only one small box of worn bags that are listed 'my most precious things'

It was a fixture he wore as a baby, and also a necklace he heavily guarded, a necklace that followed him from childhood.

It was the only thing he had been guarding all this time. The others he didn't even think about. Thankfully, there is now back together.

Unknowingly his eyes were now spewing salt water towards his cheeks. Seeing that Geri instantly wiped and calmed him down.

"This was my parents' property "Carri stared tightly into the bag as if she was afraid of being taken away.

Only the necklace was the only way Carri could be recognized by her parents. Maybe her parents are looking for her now. He also wants to meet them.

When they finished they came out of the apartment according to what Geri said.
