He had not touched the floor when Geri had raised his feet again on the bed. "What are you doing? Stay lying down"
Geri had just returned from the administration room to take care of some letters and payments so he did not hear any of his wife's conversations with the young doctor.
He was too panicked so could not think well of calling his assistant to help in administrative affairs.
The doctor and the nurse who were in the large room could only shake their head to see a Geri with her overly possessive attitude.
Carri giggled at her husband's words "It's good to prepare for her delivery"
Geri turned her head towards the doctor standing opposite her.
The young Donter nodded slowly at Carri's words.
Geri felt doubtful as she looked back at Carri for a moment thinking about the doctor's advice.
Oh gosh! Who is the doctor here? Why did they come if they did not trust the advice of the doctor?
All the medics came out of the room shaking their heads. The sight was too hard to believe!
In the end Geri took the sandals provided by the hospital. He put it on his wife's tiny legs and helped Carri stand up slowly.
Carri walked inside the room while holding onto Geri. Every step Carri took always made Geri's heart beat faster.
He was too nervous to see whenever his wife's feet were about to step. It is possible that at that step his wife will experience fatigue.
While keeping an eye on his wife Geri never ceases to remind Carri to tread carefully. "Be careful... Slowly... Don't be so quick... Tell me you're tired... Don't step too wide..."
Geri looked at his wife who had not continued his steps. Without warning, he took Carri to the bed to sit down.
The unprepared Carri immediately screamed and wrapped her hands around her husband's neck.
"Are you tired? You want some water? Or something else?" Geri's panicked face was clearly drawn as Carri slapped her husband's chest and laughed loudly. "Can you shut up?"
Geri looked at his wife in confusion.
"I'm fine" Carri giggled as she leaned against her husband's chest.
A few moments and they went back for a walk in the room according to the doctor's advice. Geri became more relaxed and did not say much anymore when he accompanied his wife.
"Call Mia for me, I want her to be here with me" Carri reminded Geri when the pain in her stomach was getting worse.
Geri let Carri hold on to the edge of the bed as she passed grabbing the phone on the nightstand to make a call.
The phone is not connected. Obviously Mia was already sleeping at such a time. Geri put back her phone and returned to help Carri to walk.
As the pain got worse, Carri stopped her steps and held on tightly to Geri's arm.
The water broke.
Geri became panicked when she looked at the floor that was filled with water. He took his wife and called the doctor. Happiness and anxiety melded in his heart.
He did not know that he had to be anxious or sad when he followed the doctor to enter the delivery room. He clasped his wife's hand tightly and gave some encouraging expressions to his wife's ears.
