Where's Book!?

She's just an ordinary girl. At least he had no talent, nor the privileges he was born with. The only thing he can be proud of is his effort and hard work.

He's never giving up.

It was because of his hard work that he was able to reach the top, at least in his own class. He became the class leader because his grades became the highest of all the students in his class. He also became a member of the disciplinary committee after getting a recommendation from Mr. Alex. Everything he got with hard work.

However, his position is beginning to be threatened. A student from her class begins to demonstrate her true abilities. The student had just solved a case right in front of him. He was amazed when the student solved the theft case in the OSIS room. Little by little the awe turned to anxiety.

A week has passed since I finished the persecution case in Class B.

Today will be a Literature quiz. Quizzes are held so that students can prepare themselves to face the problems that will come out at the time of UAS later. When I got to class, I found my best friend Maya sleeping on her desk.

I found it, on the literary shelf left one book, the book I was looking for had a beautiful and thin cover. I think this is enough for today's quiz material. I immediately headed to the loan department, to list the book on my loan list.

Quite a number of students were queuing up today, so I had to wait a while before my name was called.

My name was finally called. I borrowed the book now. After leaving the Library, I intend to go to the cafeteria to spend my time reading this book.

The school cafeteria was now crowded, so there were not many empty seats left. I found one in the corner of the room.

Before ordering, I left my book on the table and went to the ordering section to order two doughnuts for a stomach booster. When I got back to my desk, I was looking for my Sastra book that I had put on the table. But it vanished without a trace.

I need to calm down and ask this to the Employee on duty, I thought.

A woman passed near my desk.

"Mother Mary, did you see the thin book on this table."

For a moment he looked at me. He seemed to remember something. "Let me remember, it seems I saw a student holding a thin book as you described it and going out."

I looked out, and found Amelia enjoying a steak ice cream on the doorstep of the canteen.

"Mel, did you see someone out carrying a thin book?"

He turned his face away. "I don't know, I just got here. I've been in class."

"If you don't believe it, yes. Obviously, I can't steal your book."

He left indifferently while licking the ice cream in his hand which was starting to melt.

I approached him slowly. And by gathering courage I tried to touch his back.

After I touched his back, he turned around. "Hey Aria, what are you doing?!" She's upset.

That thing scared me. But I try to gather courage. I have to fight my fear.

"Amelia, you're the one who took my book."

That's the word I told him. For a moment we stared at each other in silence.

He looks pissed "Buktinya? Don't accuse someone without proof. Otherwise I will arrest you as a member of the Disciplinary Committee."

Isn't that an abuse of power?

The Disciplinary Committee is a body that deals with the safety and discipline of Rajawali High School students. They're like cops. Some of the members helped Brother Virga drag me into the OSIS room a while ago. I think that also includes abuse of power, right?

I stared at my watch. Twelve minutes later the bell rang. "Please, there's no time anymore."

Amelia insisted on returning my book later and ran away. Women are a bitch. Unfortunately I never dared to fight women. In the end I relented and let him go with my book.

I could only realize that my time reading books was over. With resignation I enjoy my donut which began to be shrouded in flies.

Some students immediately collected a quiz paper sheet. I am one of those students who have finished it.
