Students From Whiteroom
Mystery of Mayan Poetry

On the second day, all students in Class 2A agreed to work with us. Class 1A had a total of 50 votes.

I hope the other classes will be allied with us as well. Because the real enemy is Central. If the whole class is in alliance, then we can synchronize so that we can generalize the number of voting dislikes to the students.

With this leveling, the Central party could not get the students out because each student had the same number of votes.

That's my plan. But it was just a backup plan. I also have a main plan, which is by golput or not choosing. If all students do not choose, then no students need to be expelled.

The actual defeat was on Central and whatever they planned behind the Class Voting would end in failure. After Amelia and Brother Virga heard of this plan, they immediately entered into negotiations with another class that had not joined yet.

Their negotiations seemed to be going well. Almost all classes have joined our alliance. Well, there are also those who join with a little coercion. Because, we already have 50 votes, this is a mix of my class, 1A class and Virga class, 2A class.

In this way, we can threaten the class president of another class and force them to join. An example is class 1B, where we put a little pressure on their class leader.

At first the negotiations went well, because the one who became our representative in their class was Asuna, the most hated student in their class. However, after Amelia tried to persuade them. They finally joined in completely.

Meanwhile, Virga has managed to persuade all students in the 3rd grade to join us. The total number of votes we received was 150. For now, our alliance has become stronger.

But the story has nothing to do with me anymore. I have left the matter of negotiation to Amelia and Brother Virga.

For now I'm thinking about another problem. I hold a piece of paper.

This paper is the contents of an envelope given by Maya before she mysteriously disappears.

Meaning Behind the Word

Beautiful full moon

But all I felt was the silence of the soul.

Distraught, agitated and languishing.

Replace the happiness.

I screamed.

A sense of silence enveloped the soul.

I want to erase the pain.

When we meet.

That's what Maya wrote on the paper. What the hell is he thinking? He made this poem as if he was in love with someone.

But what I'm talking about is Maya. That girl couldn't possibly experience something like loving someone. Or maybe, that's what I was hoping for. Maybe I just don't want Maya to love anyone else.

Forget that!

Anyway, this poem must have had hidden intentions. Like a clue in a word game. This poem must contain that.

To solve the mystery in this poem, I need the right people and experts in literature. When I thought of the right person to help me, the bell rang. A teacher hurriedly entered the classroom. The glasses look sideways. She was the mother of Reflesia, teacher of Classical Literature.

* * *

The third day arrived. Yesterday after class, I made an appointment to meet with Reflesia's mother at the library today. As a teacher of Literature, he must be an expert in judging this kind of literary work.

He was waiting for me in one of the chairs in the library. He waved at me as I came.

"Well, let me see the poem."

That's what he said when I came over while thrusting his hand.

I handed the poem to him. He began to read the poem seriously. Several times he nodded and muttered a little.

Moments later after she finished reading the poem, Reflesia's mother told me something.

"It seems that this poem uses the suffix letter 'a' in almost all of its poems. Except for this word."

He pointed to the phrase 'i screamed'. After I noticed, it was true what he said. Almost all sentences in the poem have a 'a' suffix'.

I think this sentence has some kind of clue. No, not just in this sentence. This whole poem must have had a lot of mysteries and riddles.

He smiled waiting for my answer.

I, uh, feel a bad feeling about this. Reflesia's mother was a victim of Maya, right?

When I told him that May had made it, he immediately took a few steps away from me. Or rather than the piece of paper I was carrying.

"A..What's wrong mom?" I'm worried about him right now.

"Ti.none." He looked around as if he was wary of something. "M...where is he?"

I put my shoulders down. "He just disappeared."

After that he left for various reasons that clearly visible his lies. He was very afraid of Maya. Maya is scary. However, despite all her attitude, I knew she was a good girl and a little mysterious.

After he left, I refocused myself on breaking the Mayan poetry. I look back at the poem. I have found a clue after investigating the ending of the poem with the help of Mother Reflesia.

However, he had escaped before everything was solved. Now, I want to investigate the initial letters in each line of the poem.

I, N, G, G, A, R, I, S.

That's the initial set of letters from each line of poetry made by Maya. It looks like a bunch of letters like a word I know.

After I threw out the letter 'A' from the start of the sentence 'I screamed', I found a new word, which was English. It doesn't seem like a coincidence. There are still many things I haven't solved.

Evening has arrived. After reading Maya's poem, somehow my heart was moved to see the night sky. Through the small window, I let the moonlight into my room. The light is quite bright even though it is not as bright as the full moon. I let the night wind blow into my room.

In my hand, there was a poem that Maya had made.

I screamed and English.

I thought of the possible connection of the two words. After I opened the dictionary, the phrase I screamed in English means I Scream. Mystery pieces begin to gather.

I muttered the sentence several times to confirm the meaning of the word.

I realized one thing, the phrase was similar to the word ice cream. It seems like a word game from Maya. This was indeed his trademark, so it was only natural that he left behind such a clue.

So what does the word ice cream mean?

Maybe a place name?

The only place I had thought of after coming this far was the ice cream parlor next to the cafeteria. Maybe Maya was there. Or maybe, that's where Maya told me to meet her.

That night, I called Virga's sister. For now he is the one who can help me.

"Hello."

It seems my call has been raised.

"What's Aria?"

"Sister Vir, I want you to help me."

"Hoo~ seems interesting."

From his voice, I can imagine my interlocutor smiling cunningly.

"Please, give me a license to get into school tonight."

"Tonight?! What's for?"

I also told him my purpose.

"Ja.so so." Across there was a long breath.

"alright. You can come get the letter tonight."

And, before the night got late, I immediately rushed off to his place.
