Death of Captain Chef 1

The hustle and bustle of the city commenced to sound disturbing. There was the sound of a car horn and the cry of the driver who was angry because the car in front of him stopped arbitrarily. That's what woke me up from sleep. Usually not like this.

In the dorm I can go back to sleep on the weekends. The location of the Rajawali High School complex is on the outskirts of the city, which is why there are no disturbing sounds. There was no such noise. There was only a quiet voice that calmed me down and drove me back to dreamland, before I finally woke up in the middle of the day because my screaming stomach was asking to be filled.

The sound outside is so loud. I turned my gaze to the guest room that Captain Coki had given me to stay over. This room looks gloomy. Mungin because the walls of the room are dominated by a dull-looking night blue.

Added to the dim light of the sun that is visible from behind the curtains adds a gloomy impression. I slept without a light all night. I still vividly remember the grinning expression of Captain Chef when he knew the lights of this room were not on.

“Ahh, it looks like this lamp has burned.” He grumbled after playing the switch several times.

But the grumbling lasted only a short while.

“Well how else.” He puts his shoulders.

“There are no more rooms in this apartment that are worthy of guests other than this. You know, my room is creepier than this.” room

I think he's bragging. But I was wrong. When he showed me his room, it was even more gloomy than the haunted house rides I had visited.

There are several cans of drink here and there as well as clumped sheets. There were some panties on the floor. And the most disgusting part was that there was a beast with its shiny black color. The creature flew towards me. I closed the door and moved away as the cockroach approached me.

When I remember what happened last night, I am grateful to have been given this room. Listening to Captain Coki's long useless ramblings was like a punishment to me. So I really don't want to sleep in that room because it's going to be hell in my world.

By the way, where is that guy?

With its ‘unik’ nature, it is unlikely that this apartment became so silent without sound. I decided to explore this apartment.

I checked every room while calling the owner of the house. Room by room. However, there is no answer. The reason I'm looking for him is to say goodbye.

Before Maya comes, I have to leave this place. I don't want to be repotted more than this. My plan to ask for his help regarding the Class Voting was gradually faded.

I decided to resign. After all, I wasn't harmed in the least. Looks like my aptis soul won.

After I searched each room for Chef's whereabouts, and didn't find him, I decided to go home without saying goodbye. Something at the door surprised me.

Captain Coki was lying face down at the door. His hand was like he was reaching for a door handle made of iron.

I immediately rushed to him.

“captain Cheki... Wakeup!”

There's no answer.

“Heyy. It's not funny!”

I shook his body, but there was no answer. I also checked his pulse. However, it does not feel. Cold sweat began to pour profusely from my pores. This is probably the worst situation after I was abandoned by my father.

If I leave now, then most likely I will be checked. Worst of all, the police will accuse me of being a suspect.

Maybe I won't be made a suspect, but there will be a lot of dangerous rumors about me that will spread. The only thing I can do is, I hate to admit it. But I have to call Maya right away.

I grabbed the phone in my pants pocket. And immediately call the girl.

Beeping....

After a long beep finally came the sound I was expecting a little.

“It's impatient that you want to see me. Right now I'm getting dressed, so can we talk later.”

Oh, that's a sickening narcissistic word. But there's something important I need to tell him.

“May... hurry up here. Captain Coki is unconscious here. I don't know if he's alive or not. However it seems like he has died.”

I said that sentence trembling. I looked back at Captain Chef whom he was mute with. I hope he gets up soon and goes back to talking non-stop like last night.

“Hoho. Only last night I left with him and you killed him. Looks like your mental health needs to be questioned.”

Hey, this is no time to joke. That's a bad joke for me right now.

“That's a bad joke. I didn't do anything. As I searched for him, I found him lying unconscious in front of the door with the position of the hand to reach the doorknob.”

There's no answer. No, I'm serious, Maya has disconnected the call after listening to my explanation. Now what am I supposed to do?

I can only wait. My chest is pounding. How else, in front of me was the corpse of someone I knew. And I have the possibility of being accused as a suspect.

As I thought more about my next move, I heard the sound of sirens ringing in the distance. Help seems to be coming. I hope they can save Captain Chef immediately.

* * *

I think he was just joking and wanted to frame me for coming. But after she explained the details, I soon realized that Aria had been stuck in a stressful condition at the moment. I immediately hung up the phone and called Commander Hans.

After a while, my call was answered.

“What's the son?”

A warm greeting sounds like a father to his son. Maybe it's true that he has taken me as his son because of various things. But that's just a one-sided assumption.

“Can you send a Military Police squad to Captain Coki's house.”

“Lo why?”

Can he not ask and do what I say?!

No, I won't say that, because after all he is a Military Commander.

“My friend seems to be in trouble. And your favorite boy seems to have died.”

“What?!”

There was a surprised voice full of question marks from my opponent on the phone. Well I'm sure he's analyzing what I'm saying.

For a moment he was silent.

This gives rise to a momentary silence that is a waste of time.

“Are you serious?”

Have I ever joked? Oh, it was once. I nodded my head a little, though it wouldn't be seen by him because we were communicating over the phone.

“I'm serious.”

It was a short sentence that ended our conversation this morning. I immediately got ready and rushed to see my friend. It seemed like the young man had to be caught in this precarious situation. Even though this is still in line with my predictions.

* * *

Seven soldiers in full uniform from the Military Police immediately entered the apartment, while two men stood guard outside.

The soldiers have been equipped with body armor to face the firefight. Maybe this looks excessive. But they got such orders because their superiors had reports that one of their soldiers had been killed.

It is not yet clear whether this was a death by illness, accident or murder. But they have to prepare for the worst. This is their form of discipline.

Each of them is armed with an AK-12. Hearing the name of AK may be terbesit in the mind is a weapon with stubborn endurance and great stopping. This weaponry is used as a precaution. Moreover, the victim was a police officer. With the least amount of information obtained, there was a possibility of a dangerous killer roaming the room. Although in fact there was only an ordinary young man with an unlucky fate line.

As they walked in, the sound of the shoes they were wearing could not be heard. This was because of the infiltration drills they had been doing in the military academy for many years. This way, some of the residents of the apartment upstairs will not be disturbed.

And, maybe they won't find out that in the same building they live in there's been a murder. I'm sure they won't find out before they get out of their room.
