It should be a few more days already into autumn, meaning the weather will feel cooler, but otherwise the weather is even hotter. The wind that blows also does not feel soothing. It was this hot weather that caused Delphy to fall ill. His nose continuously expelled a thick liquid.
It's not the first time Delphy has felt this. Delphy never got the flu in the winter, but he always got the flu in the summer until people around him called it the 'summer flu for Delphy'.
At his desk, Delphy had been busy cleaning the liquid coming out of his nose. The reports that had piled up on his desk had not had time to read, let alone to read the report, lifting his head alone already felt very heavy for Delphy at this time.
The door of the room opened without being knocked, only Commander Claude dared to do that. Commander Claude came with a stack of documents. Seeing that, Delphy was only able to curse in his heart even though he honestly wanted to protest at that moment, but his body was too weak to accept the ravings of Commander Claude.
Commander Claude placed the stack of documents on the table, "Which Commander brought the report to his subordinates."
"I never asked the Commander to do it for me." Delphy skimmed through the document, damn it, report again, inwardly.
"Unfortunately I didn't just bring you a report but this one." Commander Claude put down a small bottle of solid green water. "Lilian says you forgot this."
Delphy didn't forget about it, in fact he accidentally left the bottle. "Take it far away from me."
"Spend now, after that work all the reports. Don't forget about afternoon training, special forces should be formed again as soon as possible."
Without answering Delphy immediately finished the contents of the bottle in one throat followed by mineral water to eliminate the bitter taste that stuck to his tongue and throat. "I hate having to take this medicine every year."
"I don't think you need to drink it this year, considering summer is almost over."
"Summer is almost over but the air is getting hotter."
"Finish your report soon, I hope that by late afternoon your report will be on my desk." Commander Claude left Delphy's room without waiting for a response from his interlocutor.
After feeling her flu slightly subside, Delphy began to finish his report one by one. He forgot his lunch. Delphy habit since a long time ago, will not move from his chair if you have focused on doing something. For him, taking a short break would only make him feel lazy to continue his work.
The bad habit of skipping meals becomes more severe later on. Delphy spent more and more of his time doing his job. Until Lilian several times had to deliver food to Delphy so that the girl took the time to eat. Once a few days his schedule was quite solid, he only ate a piece of bread in the morning, after running missions, training new soldiers, working on reports he did late at night.
Right after Delphy finished his final report, a knock on the door sounded. Delphy gave me permission to enter. A soldier came in and gave him a rolled up paper and then left.
Delphy looked at the small paper tied to the rope holding the paper roll. There is his name written in full including his last name. Delphy's brows furrowed in wonder, it should only be members of the royal family and some of the palace workers who knew his full name.
Palace workers were unlikely to send letters to her, whereas members of the royal family never sent letters to her. Delphy opened the paper, there was only one sentence.
When will you realize it?
There's no sender's name there. Delphy hates dealing with someone who hides his identity. In the past, Delphy had almost immediately killed the perpetrator of consecutive murders because it made Delphy have to look for the perpetrator with minimal clues.
Currently Delphy must find out the sender of the letter. However, his identity is not safe at this time if the sender is not from a member of the royal family. Unfortunately Delphy forgot the face of the letter carrier because he was busy tidying up the reports he was working on.
Not enough to find the sender of the letter, Delphy also had to find out the meaning of the contents of the letter. It can't be just a prankster. Some suspicion crossed Delphy's mind. But he could not rely solely on that suspicion, at least he had to find someone he could talk to about this letter. But he doesn't know who that person is. His older brother was every day very busy, he had not seen them these few days either.
The letter he put into the desk drawer and headed to the training ground after delivering the report to Commander Claude. Upon Delphy's arrival at the training ground, his focus was on a man who now looked busy watching the soldiers who were training in sword.
"It's nice to meet you, Mr. Delphy." Erd replied with a friendly smile.
Delphy walked over, "What are you doing here Prince?"
"Just look at how the warriors of the Whittaker Kingdom train, because it seems like I have to know more about this kingdom before it becomes a part of you."
"I apologize in advance to the Prince, but only the concerned party is allowed to enter the soldier's headquarters."
"But the King himself allowed me to enter your territory, Mr. Delphy." While emphasizing 'your territory' Erd kept his friendly smile. "Let's just say I want to know the performance of the soldier who will escort my fiancee to the Ash-Shaif kingdom later."
Suddenly Delphy frowned. This was the first time an outsider had entered the warrior headquarters. Commander Claude wouldn't like this, but if his own father gave him permission, Delphy couldn't do anything other than try to talk to his father directly.
"You don't have to worry about it, they're all well-trained."
"I'm very understanding about it, they're amazing and it's quiet that I just stopped by for a minute." Erd patted Delphy's right shoulder, "I'll go now."
Just a few steps, Prince Erd stopped and turned to Delphy, "See you at the dinner." Then leaving just like that left Delphy looking at him suspiciously.
Throughout training the Delphy warriors could not focus at all. Not finished with the mysterious letter, now he must suspect the motion of Erd's gerik. He also had to meet his father to clarify the reason his father allowed others even from neighboring kingdoms to enter the warrior headquarters where the royal defense center was located. In addition, he did not know at all that Prince Erd would visit after his engagement to Crystal.
Although Commander Claude asked Delphy to re-establish the special forces immediately, Delphy chose to postpone it at this time. Delphy wanted to carry out his personal mission first. The two remaining people from his special forces were enough for now. Delphy will rely on his two confidants for the mission he will run.
However he felt himself and the kingdom were not in good shape. Special forces will only add to the burden of his current mind, moreover he feels that there is no soldier whose ability to convince, as well as his loyalty.
Delphy dropped himself on the bed upon arrival in the room. Today's training was pretty tough for him. His head felt three times heavier. "Lilian, can you get me some snacks and some warm tea? Flu drives me crazy."
"I'll drop you off soon, Miss."
After seeing Lilian leave, Delphy looked up at the sky of his room. Until it does not feel he is already in his subconscious to meet the sleeping flower.

The snow cover accompanied by a blizzard became the first thing Delphy saw when he opened his eyes. The cold should be piercing at this point, but Delphy was comfortable with the cold he felt. There was nothing around him, only a vast expanse of snow.
Delphy walked straight though did not know where he would end up not even know where the end of the plains that only filled with snow. Until Delphy saw a blue light, he went straight to it without thinking. It feels like Delphy really misses the light, he wants to reach it no matter what.
The closer Delphy got to the light, the more the blue light shone. Delphy unwittingly shed his tears as he managed to get close to the light "What should I do?" muttered Delphy just before he finally drowned in the bright blue light.

A drop of tears streamed down Delphy's cheek as he woke up from his sleep. He didn't know what was going on, it all felt so sad. Delphy feels he really misses something even though he does not know what it is.
