Story of Season: Winter
Chapter 1

The hope of the Whittaker Kingdom is on him. To a girl who was now holding her sword tightly. With the rest of his strength expect the karsa of the god to help him. The figure of the ruler of the Kingdom of Varsha in front of him clashed with swords accompanied by the cry of the rest of the soldiers who were still fighting for their country. Till....

Craattts

The huge body fell down with its head detached. The girl's trembling hands grabbed her, raised her high despite the blood rushing and then shouted "AAAAAAAAARRRGHHHHH" Frustrated cries mixed relief into one followed by the cries of the Whittaker soldiers. Cheers rang out amidst the despair of the Varsha warriors

The two-year war finally ended after taking so many casualties. Struggles full of blood and tears. Many children became orphans and women became widows, but all of that was avenged for the conquest of the Kingdom of Varsha.

The ration with bad taste slowly chewed, forcing it into the stomach through the esophagus. Want it to feel he immediately vomited it if there was no tall man with dimples who was now watching him while crossing his arms.

"Urgh, after what I did to this country, you still treat me like a child?" Resenting.

"Blame your unruly attitude, Delphy Frostine Whittaker." Reply to the man who is often called Colden.

Delphy rolled his eyes lazily. The older brother of his father's first concubine was too attentive to him to make him sick.

"Whatever, I'll spend it in the tent. I'm tired, we'll be back in three days." Delphy said as he passed away.

"Good work Your Majesty."

The sentence made him pause for a moment then turn his head, "stop calling me that brother, I'm not the heir to the throne." A disappointed tone from him. Then he went to his tent.

Watching his body from top to bottom on the mirror reflection. For the first time the snow-white hair reached the shoulders, the war made her not have time to take care of the hair like a royal princess in general. His attenuation fell on a different color of his eyes. Ash and blue.

"Right, I'm just a damned royal princess." she muttered to herself.

Suddenly his stomach felt nauseous until he had to spit out a new ration he digested. The shadow of King Ardyne's head flashed again, his hands trembling again. All his life he learned to sword to kill many people, he was never able to cut off his opponent's head.

"Dad, I've kept my promise." Again he muttered to himself.

A warm welcome was received by the war fighters in the middle of the city towards the Palace. No one missed this happy moment. No exception the King Whittaker who welcomed in front of the Palace fence with the Queen and her concubines. Delphy and the other three Princes got off their horses. The concubines immediately hugged their son. The full atmosphere can be felt all around.

Delphy slowly approached the King. "Dad, I'm home." He said in a small voice and trembled slightly.

"Thank you for keeping your promise." Reply to King Whittaker while putting both his hands on Delphy's shoulders.

Delphy smiled bitterly holding back the cry. Then it turned to Queen Whittaker who was now staring at him. He did not know what the view he had received from the Queen meant, but he bowed for a moment without saying a word.

"Blaze, stop crying." The voice distracts her. The youngest prince three years on it was now crying like a child.

For two years they left their 'home' they risked their lives. Every day we think about how we can survive. Whether they can meet their loved ones again, whether they can sleep peacefully again, whether they can laugh freely again. Like endless worry. Without a second thought the King hugged Blaze with pride followed by the Princes. Delphy just fell silent in his place. I wanted to cry after that fight too.

However, that desire can only be pacified. They approached them with a smile. "I don't remember having a sister other than Crystal." He said in a mocking tone.

The queen who had been silent since then finally said, "Let's go in, the celebration will be prepared for you, the people will also come, you better prepare for the feast."

"Okay, your honor." The Prince at the same time.

With Colden, Delphy steps into the Palace. Although he left the palace for two years, not much has changed here.

"Nonsense, once evil Crystal did not welcome me. The kid, watch out for him." Delphy said with a clear-sounding annoyance.

"You know what your sister looks like." Reply Colden, "if you twins your differences are very far away. I'm sure he's busy with his hair."

"Hahahaha, Colden's sister knows the most about all of us." The prince with a slightly not ideal height said.

"Yes, including you Bach who always hopes to get higher."

Laughter was heard among them.

"The Crystal Princess needs more self-preparation, her inauguration as a potential heir to the throne will be done at the celebration tonight. She's seventeen years old." Queen's Speech.

The princes were delighted to hear the news. Their wait for the official introduction of the Crown Princess before the people finally arrived. It meant that they no longer needed to worry that the Crown Princess would be replaced with one of them becoming the Crown Prince like rumors were circulating among the people.

According to them being the heir to the throne will keep them busy until there is no time to relax, not to mention maintaining a good image before the people.

"I hope he has not inconvenienced many people again after officially becoming the heir to the throne." Delphy.

"Your sister learned about the life of the Kingdom much better than you who were busy with the sword."

"i hope he is the best for this Kingdom."

Chat filled their journey to their respective rooms. Delphy entered his room. The palace maids served him well, all the preparations for the party had been prepared. Starting from clothes, water for bathing and some therapies for beauty.

Slowly Delphy began to undress intending to take a bath while the water was still warm. However, after a long time of not seeing his master made the servants surprised to see the princess' body filled with scars even some of the wounds were still wet. The bruise is also clearly visible throughout his body. Though the wound on the corner of his lips alone had made the servant busy treating the wound.

"Hey, I just got home from war instead of dating, don't look at me like that." Her speech. "If this means I'm not a child anymore, don't overdo it."

Lilian, the waitress who had been taking care of Delphy since childhood. A woman who was considered her own mother by Delphy. "Let me treat it first before the Princess takes a bath. I hope you don't argue at all."

Lilian approached with the medicine box in her hand. With a liver he began to treat ranging from the arms, stomach to the back. Unimaginable pain that Delphy felt by him. Her tears were dripping on their own without her being able to control. How can a girl's body be filled with wounds.

Delphy turned his body to face Lilian. Hugged Liamian tightly. This warmth he was looking forward to when he arrived at the Palace. The woman who has now entered the age of thirty. She always looked at him with warmth. Which always makes him want to go home to 'home'.

"I'm okay Lilian. Indeed this is what I want, this pain is not comparable to those who have even lost their body parts, their families even their own lives. Whatever I do for this kingdom. Ever since my father sent me with the Prince to practice for three years at my age of ten I have been ready to die for this Kingdom. No, not even since I was born I've been ready."

"Lilian, I'm sure you remember back then, when you cut my hair the first time I ever said, This kingdom is everything to me. I'm sorry I always worry you. I just want to protect what's precious to me, including you Lilian."

"My journey is just about to begin, Crystal officially becomes the successor to the throne. I'm gonna get busy, I gotta make sure it's safe at all times. My sister couldn't protect herself at all despite practicing martial arts." As much as possible he distracted Lilian from how severe the wounds were on her body.
