Chapter 13

"I thought you'd decided to go back." Frost said after Delphy said he wanted to return to his home country.

"I have to make sure things are there, because I am the Knight of the Whittaker Country who has sworn allegiance to the Kingdom."

"All right, I'll drive you." One sentence from Frost made Delphy's smile appear.

Never did Delphy think Frost would say it that easily. "Really??!!!"

"Prepare, we leave tomorrow morning."

Delphy displayed a respectful attitude with a fluffy smile, "Ready!!" Then go to his room.

Arriving at his room, Delphy picks up the book "Winter Memory." A book he had not read until it was finished.

Page by page, it was opened by Delphy. The story of how a boy who hates the winter to the development of his character is very interesting. Unfortunately the time Delphy had to read the book to the end would not be enough, the next morning he would depart back to Whittaker.

But in the middle of the chapter makes Delphy increasingly curious about the continuation of the story. It feels that the story in the book forces Delphy into the story, contributing to the development of the main character.

The door opened without Delphy noticing, Ailee was the culprit. By the time Delphy regained consciousness, Ailee was already nearby. Reading the book made Delphy unconscious of his surroundings.

"I've knocked on the door many times, but there's no answer, I think something happened." Ailee.

Delphy closed the book and then turned to look at Ailee. "I'm sorry, I'm so focused on reading that."

"I hear you're coming back tomorrow?" Delphy nodded, "But it seems you are still curious about this book."

"Well, this book makes me feel like I'm getting into the story." Answer Delphy.

"Bring it up, read it on your way, three months is not a short time."

Delphy smiled sumringah. "Thank you."

"Then you can close the book and have dinner first."

Frost and Delphy were already preparing in front of the temple waiting for the horse-drawn carriage that would take them to the harbor. This time Delphy wore a different shirt and a coat to warm himself, none other than Frost, although with sleeves and pants that must be bent. Actually Delphy never asked for it, but Frost himself forced Delphy to change clothes.

"Let's change, your clothes stink." Said Frost.

If you remember it makes Delphy feel amused himself. Frost looked very cold, but on one hand was actually the man's attention.

Delphy glanced at Frost who was standing beside him. When viewed from the side, Frost's jawline looks more firm. A beautiful side face.

"What's wrong?" Frost arrived and looked at Delphy.

With a sigh Delphy replied, "T-nothing." Never thought by Delphy if he would be caught paying attention to someone.

Again, the view of Figo City is truly peaceful. Only this time more people prayed at the snowflake-shaped monument. Seeing that, made Delphy feel a little stuck in his heart. Until the horse-drawn carriage began to leave the city, a sense of longing re-emerged in Delphy's mind.

Frost watched Delphy's every move and spoke, "i don't know why you didn't ask this, but I'll tell you why I brought you here after being surrounded by robbers."

The view outside the window is no longer a concern for Delphy, now his attention falls on Frost.

Frost continued, "From the beginning Prince Erd had a bad plan for you. If I hadn't saved you back then, not only would your kingdom have been destroyed, but you'd probably have died as well."

"Why? I can fight it with my sword. Being in the middle of a sword fight is common to me, and now my Kingdom is in danger but there is nothing I can do."

"Because you don't understand anything about yourself, Prince Erd is a Summer God incarnation and he understands it very well."

"Then why? Do you doubt my abilities? I should have been able to protect my family. But you guys brought me here and said shit." Delphy smiled cynically, "The Winter God Dribble? Don't joke, people never even saw me before, including my mother. It's impossible for someone who is given a gift to be shunned, isn't it?"

Frost leaned his body, "It's free indeed, from the beginning you refused to believe."

"Just stop your bullshit, I just need to go back.".

There was no answer from Frost, the man chose to close his eyes ignoring Delphy. Looks like Frost's giving up on convincing Delphy at the moment, he's too stubborn.

This Winter Country is really full of snow. Since then the houses of the people and the streets in the snow cover. This makes Delphy curious how about the Spring Country, will beautiful colored flowers grow every year?

Although willing, however, to form another Country in the Epoch Continent, Delphy felt confident that he would only fall in love with the Winter Country. Delphy begins to imagine what if he and his twin sister were born in the Winter Country. Will they play snow every day and Delphy will never feel the summer flu. Besides, of course, because no one will see his appearance with a disgusting look. Delphy's mind floated on eight years ago.

Flashbacks

"Crystal, look here!!!" Call Delphy. But when Crystal turned to Delphy, a snowball hit him in the face.

A satisfied laugh was heard clearly from Delphy, while Crystal looked at Delphy in annoyance and threw back a snowball. Until a snowball war between the two twin brothers is inevitable and stops when the Queen calls Crystal leaving Delphy alone in the middle of a snowy expanse.

Having grown tired of playing alone, Delphy exits the Palace at the company of Claude who happens to have affairs outside the Palace. Delphy who was never again considered a royal family made him free to play out and the rules he had were not as strict as those of his brother.

It feels like Delphy wants to drink hot chocolate and a slice of bread at the moment. He also did not want to follow Claude through with his business, so Claude ordered hot chocolate and a loaf of bread at a tavern after leaving Delphy alone at the tavern after telling the tavern owner.

Unfortunately, the diners who were quite crowded at that time saw Delphy sitting alone felt strange. White hair and with one eye covered made people stare at him strangely.

It makes Delphy hate having to deal with other people. Receiving a look of intimidation at his young age would naturally be a trauma in itself for him. Unfortunately, no one understands any of that.

Delphy never went out of the palace other than Claude who invited him to see the view over the hill in the winter. That's the only reason Delphy wants to leave the palace.

However, one day Delphy won against Blaze during match practice, Colden and Bach and his teacher looked at Delphy in awe. Since then Delphy wanted people to be able to look at him with admiration not strange or disgust.

End Flashback

Delphy smiled faintly considering his past. It is possible that if he did not visit the tavern at that time he would not be a great Knight who is always praised by many people.
