The sun will completely submerge itself when the bus that Anara was riding visited the beautiful and friendly city of Solo. On Anara's side, Hartik was already seen limp helplessly. Luckily he wasn't drunk, just tired from half a day sitting in the bus seat. Finally, Anara decided to stop in Solo and continue the journey tomorrow.
"What do we stop here for, Tik?" Anara offers an option to Hartik which of course is greeted by a nod.
"I'm trying to get in touch with my high school friend who happens to be studying here. Tomorrow we continue to Jogja, maybe just two hours drive to get to Jogja." Obviously Anara was on her boarding buddy while trying to make a call to Lena, her high school friend.
"Where are we sleeping, An?"
"Hopefully we can stay on my desk, but this hasn't been lifted yet." Since they both left with backpacker intentions, it would certainly look for the most frugal option.
"Yes, yeah, hopefully." Hartik has resigned to what Anara said. After all, he himself also felt not strong if he had to continue the journey. If forced to get drunk, this trip will be a tragic story.
On the second call just sounded authentic from Anara's phone. Not much ado Anara explained her intention to spend the night in Solo because it was dark and the condition of both were very tired. Goddess Fortuna was siding with him, Lena agreed to Anara's request.
Anara was a little relieved, her net back straight ahead and tried to enjoy Solo City which increasingly looks friendly with bright lights that began to light up. A moment later, his gaze rolled on the phone screen in his hand and emblazoned Candra's name. The phone is now stuck in his ear.
...----------------...
Anara and Hartik had already gotten off the bus when the sun had completely set. The clear sky of Solo City without cloudy as if welcoming the two. The two of them were waiting for Lena to approach. Both Anara and Hartik, both equally messy, the result of struggling with the density of intercity bus passengers today.
About 10 minutes later in front of them stopped two matic motorcycles driven by Lena and her friend. After chatting with each other, the four had already headed to Lena's kos which was only about 300m in location. Without waiting for the afternoon, Anara and Hartik took turns to flush their sticky bodies when they arrived at Lena's boarding house.
After the two are refreshed, Lena offers to be a tour guide who will invite her two guests to see a little of the many nobility of Solo City. Anara happily welcomes Lena's offer, but seeing Hartik who seemed to live a life of death did not want to. Finally the three of them decided to just look for angkringan and enjoy the beautiful night in Kapalan ISI Surakarta while bribing cat rice.
"Anara! The hart!" The one who was called immediately turned to the owner of the voice.
"Tomorrow I take it to Keraton with Klewer!" Lena opened the conversation in the middle of her gulp on the round.
"Well, you can. We'll be here first! It's just been to Jogja." Hartik already answered first with enthusiasm.
"If the weather's hot, Tik." Anara can't wait to see the city of her dreams.
"When else can we mess around here, An? once the oar of two three islands is exceeded."
Hartik still firmly convinced Anara to leave for Jogja during the day. This opportunity should not be missed. Why should I rush to London? the weekend is silent until Sunday. How thought. Anara fell silent, weighing the persuasive sentences launched by Hartik.
"The Betul said Hartik. Could go a little bad. Not where they're being chased. Then you quickly want to go to Jogja want to do the hell?" As if allied with Hartik, Lena also influenced Anara.
"Eh, don't-don't you go to Jogja want to see Janu huh?" This time Lena's eyes were implying a plunge.
The deg!!!
Anara's heart trembled a little and her logic wondered why Lena mentioned that name? it doesn't stop there. Lena still continued her sentence seeing Anara just sculpting.
"Do you know that Janu went to college in Jogja?" This time, Lena's face suddenly became serious. Anara was still silent making sure her ears were functioning properly.
"Yes, Janu was your ex at High School, he went to college in Jogja. Time doesn't know?" Lena seemed to be able to read the question that appeared in her friend's head.
"Oh, so you really insist on going to Jogja anyway to meet your ex anyway?" This time Hartik also attacked Anara who again was still silent.
Not only did he get there, Hartik still continued his sentence. "Anara, you haven't been able to move on from your gray-white romance?" The look on her face that seemed to be softened really wanted Anara to fist.
"Duh, really ngaco your mouth. How do I know if he went to college." This time Anara opened her voice before her two friends became more and more upset.
Feeling unaccepted, Hartik still teases Anara until Anara finally opens a little memory sheet of her High School with Janu, Anara, the man who had space in his heart but at the same time the man also carved the pain for leaving without burden. For what reason until the almost four years of their separation, Anara did not know the reason.
At the end of the storytelling session, Anara suddenly remembered that she had not told Candra. His face turned frantic, as he searched for a cell phone and scrambled his sling bag.
Danger, one word that comes to mind when he realizes that his phone is left behind where Lena so excited to enjoy the air of Solo night. His face then turned to Hartik and as he understood, Hartik showed the phone in his low-batt hand.
As the air grew colder and the road in front of him gradually quietened. The three of them decided to return to the boarding house and planned to walk through the city the next day.
...----------------...
Anara opened the phone and the clock showed it at exactly 11 p.m. He read some WA messages from his girlfriend. It was so careless to think that the phone forgot to carry. Though Candra relentlessly asked him to always be patient. Anara abai and she regretted it.
Immediately he typed in a reply message, a few minutes he waited, no reply. The second and third messages also had no response. Finally, after 30 minutes of waiting without reply, he initiated an apology because he was wrong, not immediately giving news when he arrived at Lena Magrib's place earlier.
Sorry yeah. Have you slept?
Happy break 😘
After the fourth message was sent. Anara re-wrote the message, this time a little bold. Emoticons kiss for the first time he breaks up for Candra. At first Anara's hand seemed to worry between sending or removing. A minute passed, a message from Anara was finally sent to the one far away. How bold, perhaps it is a phrase that describes itself. But, the other side of his heart said it was fine.
...----------------...
This morning the air is very fresh and the blue sky of Solo as if welcoming two guests from Malang. Anara and Hartik were already outside the fence to just breathe deeply into the cool morning air.
Shortly after Lena came out and asked Anara to bring her friend's motorcycle, while Hartik can be guessed, who did she choose to be bullied?
The first destination is Surakarta Hadiningrat Palace. Exactly at 09.00 WIB the cultural tour was opened. Some shots have managed to capture the moment.
Not satisfied to get there. Finally, Lena invited the two to stop by the Great Mosque of Surakarta which is located right in front of Klewer Market.
At that moment, Anara realized that the message she sent to Candra had not been answered. Instantly he felt sorry at once and cursed himself for sending emoticons last night.
He made a call to Candra. Once not lifted, both times are still the same.
"Where is this guy? just one day left suddenly." Anara grumbled softly which only she could hear by herself. Again he tried to contact Candra. Still without a response from her boyfriend. He lost patience and sent WA messages.
Whereareyou?
The phone is not lifted, WA from Semalem is also not bales.
Intentionally huh?
Three live chat he leaned on his lover. After that his phone had already entered into the sling bag. He tried to be indifferent to the message he sent, will get a response or not from Candra. Bodo!
...----------------...
It was noon when Anara and her two friends arrived at a shop located not far from the Racing Station. They patiently waited for the order menu to arrive. Intentions breakfast but more fittingly called lunch because the sun is high and the weather is hot. Before long there was a mas-mas heading towards them with a medium-sized tray propped up with both hands.
"This is called the strait of solos." Lena explained after the menu was on the table and Anara looked at the type of food she had just seen for the first time. He looked carefully at the plate containing a variety of vegetables, pickles, fries, bacem eggs, and cuts of beef.
"Like steak but why is there gravy here?" Ask Lena.
"It's a blend of European culture and local culture, because people like us are not used to eating meat as a staple food. So it's combined with potatoes and vegetables."
"Is that so?" Hartik nodded slowly understanding Lena's explanation.
"Yes, keep this chocolate sauce like a cow broth just as hmm soy sauce as possible. It's sweet savory there's a pot, it's delicious anyway. Please eat it! must like."
All three are greedy to eat the strait solo recognized by Anara and Hartik that the dish is fresh, delicious, and certainly filling. It was just that the place was so crowded that it had to be patient in line.
...----------------...
Anara and Hartik are neat and ready to go back on the journey. A stopover in Solo brings invaluable new experiences and stories. In between waiting for a fleet of buses to Jogja, Anara was busy talking through her phone connection. Of course with Candra, who else?
It turned out that his girlfriend who was the chairman of BEM was busy taking care of the preparation of the Pemilwa event and just had time to contact. Although admitted Candra, indeed on the night Anara sent the emoticon kiss was actually he had read it, but his ignorant intentions forgot he had not ended and was busy with new affairs.
"It's okay, I thought you died because I died." Anara laughed at him.
"If I die. You're killing yourself again." The voice from across came.
"Ha ha ha, it's already been. I want to go on the way to Jogja. Not patient."
"Be careful! One more Anara, don't forget the ka-bar!" Candra paused my attitude, the word she said to reinforce her request.
Anara just nodded and quickly realized that Candra would not know that, "Yes, sorry my phone missed yesterday."
"Well, where's the kiss?" Anara looked at Hartik and Lena. Shame if they hear, but it can be ascertained that the sentence Candra did not sound both friends because of the noise of the road.
"What the hell? Shame, there's Hartik here too." This time Anara just whispered.
"If there is no hartik means want? we'll practice it later if we meet!" There was a strange gelenyar running through Anara's body when Candra said that. Soon he said you again and disconnected his phone without waiting for an answer.
Before long the mode of transportation that will take him to Jogja has stopped a few steps from it. After taking off the hug on Lena, he and Hartik were already on the bus and his eyes were busy looking for an empty seat. They both decided to sit right behind the driver.
This position is advantageous because the streets are clearly visible and of course because the focus of the view follows the streets, the risk of drunkenness will be reduced. Hope Hartik isn't drunk! so inward Anara.
...----------------...
About two hours drive they need to arrive in Jogja. On the right side, the magnificent Prambanan welcomed their arrival. Anara was a little hysterical as the bus wheels deepened into this special area. In fact, now it looks who looks more like a Kindergarten child? Of course Anara is.
As per the instructions from Lena, they were both advised to get off at Janti rather than Giwangan Terminal, going further if it reaches the terminal. Ask to go down at the Janti supermarket, as Lena's sentence keeps Anara in mind.
Just below the flyover, they descend in front of the supermarkets that have mushroomed almost the entire country. Anara and Hartik faithfully wait for an invitation there. It was Nilam who would pick them up. Nilam is also a friend of Anara High School who is experimenting with education in Student City.
"He said Nilam would pick us up here." Obviously Anara on Hartik who was sipping coffee in a bottle of his mouth from the supermarket. Hartik hinted his thumb at the owner of the voice in front of him.
Anara's thoughts go back to Lena's words in Kapalan last night. Janu, that one name managed to haunt Anara afterwards, how could Lena know that the loser man was in Jogja? Didn't we all lose contact with him when he decided to get out of school somewhere?
Anara drifted further into her thoughts until a Prestige Accord stopped in front of them. The glass of the car slowly opened, there appeared the face of the woman who was half-calling to call Anara. Hartik nudged Anara whose view was still empty. Not showing any reaction, he called out to the friend beside him in a slightly loud voice.
"Anyara!!!" Hartik's voice instantly resuscitated Anara from the daydream.
"What?" Anara looked confused then followed the direction of Hartik's eyes that stopped at the figure in the car earlier.
"Priest". Anara sumringah finds her high school friend, but her smile slowly disappears when she faintly sees the figure of the man next to Nilam.
