The Endless Stairs

“Mas Dika's. It wants malam” said a petite man.

“You are rich where else Ton, I again need extra money to pay installments. Loe go home first aja”

Toni got up from her chair and walked towards the door “Mmm..., Mas Dika had heard this office story not yet”.

“What story?” said Dika with a potluck while still staring at the computer screen.

“If the emergency ladder turns into no end at night”.

Instantly Dika turned his gaze towards Toni “ Which means endless rich? If through the stairs will not find a way out so?”

“Hahahah, yes kali ya Mas, I also do not know. That's an issue between OBs because there are OBs who claim to sleep in the room when he wakes up already at night. Automatic elevator is dead so she passed emergency stairs”.

“Yes already if Mas Dika still want to overtime, welcome to feel lost in the stairs, hahaha”

The clock shows at 9 pm when Dika came out of his room and sure enough the elevator was turned off. There was a sense of hesitation as Dika walked towards the door to the emergency stairs. “If not through here when I jump instead of going home even to the afterlife, believe very story so”.

Sure enough after Dika entered the emergency stairs, no exit was found. When Dika glanced at his watch it was showing at 10 pm which means Dika had gone down the stairs for 30 minutes.

Dika's body was limp and his vision began to blur holding back his misgivings and horror and his energy drained until Dika finally fell unconscious.

The next morning Dika was found unconscious in front of the entrance to the emergency stairs.
