Sincere Love Former Office Girl
Implied message

The days that Sekar lived felt more pleasant since Mbah Bhanuwati can remember it again. Although the journey of the grandson when growing up can not be remembered him, Sekar still feel happy. At least, he can now really invite his grandmother to communicate.

The outpouring of affection that Mbah Bhanuwati gives now, is enough to replace the moments of their long lost togetherness.

"Nduk," Mbah Bhanuwati who was sitting leaning around a lot of knitting equipment, suddenly called out to Sekar.

Sekar, who had just finished washing dishes, rushed to him. "Falem, Mbah?"

"Sit here, Nduk," said the grandmother. His hands clapped at the empty spot before him.

Sekar. The girl sat cross-legged in front of the grandmother. His eyes looked at a knit sweater that folded neatly on Mbah Bhanuwati's lap. The sweater looks knitted using wool yarn of various colors.

Mbah Bhanuwati's wrinkled hands took the sweater from her lap, then gave it to Sekar.

"Make it Now, Mbah?" ask the girl.

Mbah Bhanuwati nodded her head. A soothing smile rose from his lips.

Now spread his smile. Enthusiastically he unfolded the sweater. But unexpectedly, another sweater of smaller size fell from within the folds.

Sekar frowned. "Kok, there's two Mbah sweaters?" ask the girl curious. If viewed more carefully, the sweater that Sekar holds and that falls, has a size difference that is quite far, but equally mature.

"Give the other one to your guy friend. What's-her-name? Rion?" mbah Bhanuwati.

A red tinge appears adorning the cheeks of ranum Sekar. Look at that sweater again. The color and shape are completely harmonious, the large one must belong to Arion, while the smaller one is to itself.

Still shyly try the smaller sweater.

"It's good, Mbah. Just love it," praise the girl honestly.

Mbah Bhanuwati smiled. He then asked Sekar to sleep on his lap.

Sekar happily complied with the wishes of the grandmother. Slowly he lay down on Mbah Bhanuwati's skinny thigh. In the past, as a child, the girl often did this, and Mbah Bhanuwati happily welcomed Sekar's head. He let his granddaughter fall asleep before the mother moved her into the room.

"May you find a soul mate soon, Nduk. Aja wait a long time, so Mbah can see you wearing a wedding dress." The grandmother's delicate hand gently stroked her hair.

"Aamiin, Mbah. Healthy continues, right? Let it get over me in the pelaminan," said Sekar while looking at the face of his beloved grandmother.

Mbah Bhanuwati only responded to Sekar's words with a smile. The elderly woman instead advised Sekar on how she should start learning to live independently.

"So, if Mbah same Bude wis dies, you are standing alone, Nduk."

Hearing these words, Sekar's heart suddenly turned upside down. An uneasy feeling again ambushed him. "So, by the way, I don't like it! Mbah and Bude should nemenin Sekar lama, huh?"

Mbah Bhanuwati did not answer Sekar's question. He just gently stroked the girl's face. Groped the entire surface of his face one by one, as a reminder that the grandson has now grown up. "Putune Mbah wis ghede. Ayu tenan," muttered Mbah Bhanuwati.

Without even realizing it, a drop of tears fell down his cheek.

Mbah Bhanuwati then sangandung sholawat Javanese language that often Sekar heard as a child. Hearing that, Sekar's tears flowed increasingly profusely. The girl twisted her body and hugged the grandmother's waist as tightly as possible.

She bends her face when she sees Arion coming home. He was upset not at the man, but at his holiday schedule which suddenly had to be canceled. Gendis apparently got sick and was forced not to go to work. Now it is impossible to be absent and let Tyas serve customers alone.

"Mas really okay alone to take Mbah and Bude? It must be very troublesome," said Sekar unpalatable.

"Don't always think a no-no. I'm happy to do it." Reply Arion smiled.

Bude Gayatri and Mbah Bhanuwati came out of the house. Arion immediately helps the grandmother down from the courtyard, while Bude locks the door. Just come behind them. Although the opposite direction, the distance of the hospital and shop is not too far. So he can go with them.

"I'm sorry if it's a hassle, son," said Bude Gayatri.

"No problem, Bude," replied Arion. They got into the car and left immediately.

Arion takes Sekar first to the store, before finally turning back to the hospital. Sekar's desire to replace the hospital was strongly opposed by the man. After a heated debate, Sekar finally relented, but on one condition. Arion can no longer help him with administration. I can still bear it all. After all, the Health Insurance Card is being taken care of by Sekar after being hampered.

"This is difficult to explain, because Alzheimer's disease is still very difficult to cure. Therapy and drugs can only slow down the process." Reveal the doctor while reading Mbah Bhanuwati's file.

"Maybe, it was his strong desire that made him able to remember his grandson again. Moreover, his lost memory could be due to trauma as well. So, it could be that the trauma has now disappeared from Mother Bhanuwati," he continued.

Arion nodded his head, as did Bude Gayatri.

Sekar repeatedly glanced at his phone silently. The girl is waiting for news from Arion about the grandmother.

The clock has shown at one o'clock in the afternoon, they must have finished checking, or maybe they have gone home.

Ting!

The sound of incoming messages came to Sekar's phone. The girl hurriedly opened it.

Mbah's situation is fine. You don't have to worry and just focus on working. I'll pick you up later tonight.

A wide smile adorned Sekar's face after reading the short message that Arion sent. The unpleasant feeling that Sekar felt evaporated just like that, although it had not completely disappeared.

...***...

"Once again thank you, Nak Rion, already want to be bothered Bude and Mbah," said Bude Gayatri who just drove Mbah Bhanuwati to his room, once they got home. The middle-aged woman sat beside Arion while carrying a glass of warm sweet tea for him.

"Thank you, Bude." Arion received the tea and drank it. "I don't feel bothered at all" he said later.

"Son Rion, can Bude ask you something?" ask Bude Gayatri.

"Bye, Bude. Go ahead" replied Arion.

"If Bude can figure out, why would an established man like you like a country girl like Sekar?" ask him without further ado. "Sheer was just an orphan girl born to a poor family. His education is not high. Your lives are so much different."

Arion was silent for a moment before finally answering Bude Gayatri's question. "I don't have any parents either, Bude. Poor, rich, educated or not, it is nothing more than social status. And for the reason why I can like Sekar, to be honest, I have a hard time answering him, other than that he's the only girl who sees me as an ordinary man." Answer Arion at length.

Bude Gayatri smiled. Gently the woman patted Arion's hand. "Thank you for liking Bude's son, son? Forgive me if his nature might ever hurt your heart. Know, Sekar is a good girl."

The woman looked at the old Arion. "Son, Bude tipped Sekar, huh? Take good care of him. Bude, hopefully, Bude can still see her standing in the mop, accompany her to give birth, and see how to raise a child." A sincere smile was imprinted on Bude Gayatri's face.

A dull feeling suddenly enveloped Arion's heart. The man was unable to say anything but to agree with the words of the bude.
