Sincere Love Former Office Girl

Sincere Love Former Office Girl
Memory of Mbah Bhanuwati

"Are you okay, Nduk? Later bother, you know," Bude Gayatri stared worriedly at the nephew who was ready with his shopping bag. The girl looked enthusiastic. Mbah Bhanuwati who was next to him was no less enthusiastic than the grandson.

"No, Bude. After all, I haven't been traveling the same way in a long time." Now, I was ready to push the wheelchair that my grandmother had occupied. From last night the girl was intending to take him for a walk while shopping for vegetables. Coincidentally, he had just bought a used wheelchair from a second-hand collector for Mbah Bhanuwati. Although the condition is not very good, but the wheelchair is still very suitable for use.

"We go first, huh, Bude? Assalamualaikum," said Sekar.

"Getishalight." Bude Gayatri stared at the passing of her mother and nephew with a small smile.

She pushed her grandmother's wheelchair slowly. Previously, he intended to take him to the market that is usually visited, but because the distance is too far, Sekar finally chose to shop at the morning market. Usually, on the only football field belonging to the village, always held an impromptu morning market. There are various kinds of sellers who roll out their stalls there. Starting from household furniture, clothes, toys, to vegetables and fruits.

In the past as a child, Mbah Bhanuwati often invited Sekar there to accompany him shopping.

"Well, it's a rame, Mbah," said Sekar when they got there. The boisterous sound of the merchants calling customers to stop by their stalls, made Sekar a little excited.

The girl pushed her wheelchair Mbah Bhanuwati deeper into the market area and started shopping. Although still a girl, she is used to struggling in household affairs, including shopping. So do not be surprised if Sekar shrewd in terms of bargaining when buying.

Sekar stared at the satisfied shopping bag that was almost full. All groceries for stock in the next few days have been bought, there is only fruit for Mbah Bhanuwati who has not.

"It looks like on the other end there is," murmured Sekar. "So, we bought some new fruit back home, huh?" ask Sekar to Mbah Bhanuwati.

"Fruit?" asked Mbah Bhanuwati while looking at Sekar curious.

"Yes, Mbah. The doctor said, Mbah should eat a lot of fruit." Answer Sekar smiled. Mbah Bhanuwati nodded her head in spirit. The girl pushed her wheelchair further inside.

While being focused on looking for a fruit field, Sekar was surprised by Mbah Bhanuwati's clap on his hand. The elderly woman asked Sekar to stop in front of a shoe stand.

"Why, Mbah?" ask Sekar.

Without answering the grandson's question, Mbah Bhanuwati got out of a wheelchair and approached the shoebox on their left.

Sekar parked Mbah Bhanuwati's wheelchair right in front of the stall, so as not to block other pedestrians.

"Will you have shoes?" ask Sekar while approaching the grandmother.

Instead of answering, he even noticed Sekar's feet were wrapped in flip-flops, then busy sorting out adult-sized slops neatly lined up on tarpaulins lined with several containers.

After finding what was suitable, he took the cellop and told Sekar to try it.

"Sheets don't need a shovel, Mbah," said the girl.

"Just use it first" said the grandmother, who made Sekar want to not obey him. The girl then sat in Mbah Bhanuwati's wheelchair and tried her handcuffs of choice.

Mbah Bhanuwati smiled sumringah once knowing the size of the cellop he chose turned out to match Sekar. Lovingly, he stroked the girl's hair. "Pick what you want, Nduk,"

"Will I buy it now?" tanyakanya.

Mbah Bhanuwati nodded her head. The middle-aged woman then took out a shabby pouch from her shirt pocket and paid for the slipper using the fitting money.

Seeing this will remind Sekar of the memories of a dozen years ago, when Mbah Bhanuwati bought him a pair of school shoes.

"Thank you, Mbah," said Sekar sincerely.

"Sama-sama, Nduk," replied Mbah Bhanuwati smiling. He then held onto both of Sekar's shoulders and patted her gently.

"Putune Simbah saiki wis gede, so sepatune also kudu replaced."

"Well you know now?" ask Sekar with a flabbergasted face.

"Moso ora knows putune dhewe."

Hearing that answer, without thinking Sekar immediately hugged his grandmother and cried hysterically, making the market visitors look at them.

Sekar did not care, all he cared about was his happiness over Mbah Bhanuwati's memory. After years of being forgotten, he finally remembered himself.

"The bottom line is, if you want to save Umbara, you have to come back before the General Meeting of Shareholders is held."

"Damn!" arion Umpat. The man squeezed out an empty brown map to vent his frustration.

Erlina was indeed a demonic woman who had never lost her mind. Abiyan's arrest did not dampen Erlina's desire to remain silent. Instead, the woman even has other strategies in order to get rid of herself at once. That is by making Adhisty as CEO at a general meeting that will be held in not two months.

If Erlina's intention was to be fulfilled, it would only take a moment for the woman to be able to get rid of everyone who was on her side, not least the other Umbara family members.

"You hear me?" ben's voice immediately broke Arion's daydream.

"Yes, Mas" replied Arion lethargic.

"No need to think about it too much. Get your business done there, then come back here." Ben tried to calm his nephew down.

"Good, Mas. Thank you" said Arion. But suddenly he frowned. "Rushan?" ask the man when he realizes there is something strange about Ben's words.

"You think I don't know what you're going to do there for, '" Ben joked with a laugh.

Arion could only laugh off hearing that. There's no need for a psychic to know who revealed it to Ben. Aiden was definitely the culprit.

"Well then, I'll tell you often" said Ben.

"Thank you, Mum." Arion hung up the phone and sat back in the chair. The man closed his eyes for a moment, for the sake of calming down.

Drrt ... Drrt ...

The vibration on his phone made Arion open his eyes again. A small smile rose from the handsome face of the man, when he saw the identity of the caller listed on the phone screen.

"Assalamualaikum," Arion greeted him first.

"Waalaikumsalaaaaam," Sekar replied as he cried.

Arion straightened his body as soon as he heard Sekar's cry. "You crying? What's up?" tanyanya panic.

Getting such a question, Sekar even hardened his cries. "Yes!" screech the girl.

"Yes, what's wrong? You injured?" ask Arion again. The man hurriedly stood up from his chair. "Where are you? Let me go there!"

"I'm fine." Answer Sekar. His voice is not as loud now. "Today I can remember my present self!" then the girl shouted. He also recounted the incident at the market this morning to Arion. They even had a warm conversation at home. Indeed, there are some moments that must be recalled, such as how Sekar grew and how old he is now. Mbah Bhanuwati does not remember it at all.

"At least, Mbah knows I've been this big," said the girl.

"Alhamdulillah," said Arion who was also happy with the development of Mbah Bhanuwati. "Later after work, will I stop by?" continued.

"Yes." Yeah." Answer Sekar. "Next week of Mbah's check-up schedule, and I want to ask this to the doctor. Do you think we'll wait for next week or tomorrow I'll go there?" ask Sekar later.

"Next week, I'll deliver." Answer Arion.

They also talked for a moment, before finally Sekar pamit first. "I'm sorry, it's disrupted your work time. I have no power to refrain from reporting," said Sekar shyly.

"It's okay. Hearing the good news from you, made my mind of work slightly uplifted." Arion smiled gently.

"Well, I'll call you back, okay? Don't forget to eat" said Sekar.

"You too" said Arion.

"Assynolt,"

"Vaalaikumsalam. I love you," Arion giggled with amusement upon hearing Sekar's muttering of his ever-blunt words. Without answering, Sekar hung up his phone.

Although Sekar never returned his words, but seeing how the girl responded, was enough to make Arion happy.

Arion just has to put in more effort, so Sekar wants to come back to him. That way, his intention to bring the girl and her family to Jakarta can be done.

Bude Gayatri enters Sekar's still-lit room. The girl seems to have fallen asleep. He lifted the blanket at Sekar's feet, gently dyed the niece's forehead, before finally turning off the girl's room light.

The sense of happiness is certainly also felt by the 56-year-old woman, when she found out that the mother can remember her only grandchild. Although he could only remember the face of Sekar and could not remember every development, it was still a significant progress.

However, for some reason, simultaneously an unpleasant feeling suddenly present shackled Bude Gayatri.

He tried many times to deny that feeling. But, the more his heart refused, the more intense the unpleasant feeling was.

"Hopefully it's just my feeling" the woman muttered as she closed the door to Sekar's room.
