A kiss?

I worked at Mon Amour's shop for two weeks. Arion is no longer seen coming to the house, since the last event that happened between them. In his little heart, Sekar actually regretted the words he said to Arion. Those words must have offended the man.

Instead of feeling happy with Arion's absence, Sekar actually felt depressed. He often checks his phone notifications, but there are no incoming calls or messages from him.

"Excuse me," Sekar stopped his steps upon hearing Arion's call. He returned to the man's desk to record the order.

"Thank you, please wait a minute." She nodded her head once, then took back the two menu boards and went towards the kitchen.

"Indeed the rumors were circulating," Gendis suddenly propped her chin up on Sekar's shoulder. The girl's eyes looked at Arion and Aiden twinkling.

Sekar who was shocked immediately turned to look towards Gendis. "What rumors?"

"That the new CEO of Umbara is very friendly and handsome. Mr. Ben is actually no less handsome, if only the cold nature does not exist." Answer Gendis.

"Umbara CEO? Mr Ben?" tanya Sekar did not understand.

Gendis straightened her body then looked at Sekar in wonder. "Oh yeah, when you came in, Mr. Arion didn't eat here. Maybe he's on duty out of town."

"Of course you know. He always had lunch around here, and several meals at this place. He is the new CEO who replaced Mr. Ben temporarily. He said it was only a few months," said Gendis as he glanced at the tall building across from their shop.

A gentle touch to his lips, made Sekar wake up. The girl's eyes widened as soon as she found out that Arion had just stolen her kiss. Now the container sits upright, as well as Arion who immediately distanced himself.

"Ma–maaf," said Arion. In his heart he was busy cursing himself.

He could only nod stiffly. He thanked Arion for bothering to drive her home. Not to forget, the word sorry was also thrown by Sekar because he had slept peacefully in the car.

"It's okay." Answer Arion.

"Then I go in first. Be careful on the road,"

Arion nodded.

Without thinking long Sekar immediately got out of the car and ran into the house. Luckily, the night made Arion unable to see his face which was already as red as a boiled crab.
