It's getting dark. After the maghrib prayer, Sekar waited for Arion to come home in front of the terrace with a cup of warm and fried tea that was still steaming. The girl took a moment to fry the banana. Incidentally, there was leftover banana dough in the refrigerator that Early made last night.
Smiling when remembering their previous conversation. He did not expect, Arion would honestly tell him everything that happened at lunch today, without exception. Including the story about him and Davina who are predicted to be married by their two families. In this case, actually only Erlina agreed, while Dewandaru freed his only son to choose his own partner.
Despite the sad feeling when hearing the story about the two of them, Sekar still felt grateful, because Arion did not try to cover up or make up the story to calm his heart.
"Why smile for yourself?" The newly arrived Arion from the mushola entered Bi Ida's house. The man then sat down in the chair next to Sekar.
"Drink first, Mas, here's a fried banana too," Sekar brought warm tea and a plate of fried bananas closer to Arion.
"Thank you" said Arion, sipping his warm tea.
Just nodding his head. "Mas, can I ask you something?" the girl suddenly said.
"Ask what?"
"Why don't you like Davina? Davina is the prettiest girl I've ever met in person. She is also sexy and has charisma. It suits you very well" said Sekar at length. He sincerely praised the beauty of the glamorous woman.
"I thought, we've finished talking about it before," his eyes looked at Sekar in wonder.
"Just want to know. Can, right?" Smile now.
Arion took Sekar's hand and kissed him gently. "In my eyes, you're the most beautiful woman. And you know, why would I like you?" the man asked back.
"Why?" tanya Sekar was curious. He forgot a little about the question.
" ... Because only you can make me remember God." Reply Arion firmly. The man took off Sekar's hand and turned his head towards the night sky.
"I am not a religious man. I even forgot how long I had not carried out my duties as a Muslim." Said the man shrewdly. "But since knowing you who never forgot reminded me to worship, made me realize, that it shouldn't be just the world that I'm after. Well, even though my prayers are still in vain" he continued in a witty tone at the end of the sentence.
"That's a lot better than nothing, isn't it?" Sekar.
Arion nodded.
Sekar looked at Arion with affection. He was grateful to know the man as a man with a kind and warm personality. And what made her even more grateful was that, Arion had absolutely no objection to where she came from. His fear of the differences in their family castes, gradually began to fade.
"Eh, but that doesn't answer my question at all!" suddenly scream. He remembered that Arion answered the question he asked with another question.
"That's my answer" replied Arion lightly.
Screaming rolled his eyeballs. "You're really smart about twirling the conversation. Not to mention your coercive nature!"
"And you're very clever to argue," Arion pinched the tip of Sekar's nose.
I laughed melodiously. "I'm so happy, at least Mas doesn't try to hide anything, because I hate liars so much."
Sekar's statement just hit Arion's heart. The man cleared his throat to disguise his surprised look . "Liar?"
Seemed to look at him. "Yes. Too often being lied to by people around me traumatizes me a little. In fact, I was angry with both Father and Mother, because they had lied about the pain they were in. I don't hate liars. It's just, I won't be able to deal with it again, if I have to go back to being lied to." Terang Sekar's.
"Although a lie is for the sake of a good?" ask Arion.
Just a little laugh. "There is no such thing as lying for the good. All lies are lies." The girl answered with confidence.
Arion's throat is blocked. He did not know how to respond to Sekar's statement just now. His appetite for a plate of fried bananas served on the table suddenly evaporated out of nowhere.
...***...
"To my knowledge, the girl had no problems with anyone. In fact, she had already been named the best Office Girl Junior two months in a row there." Jane said carefully. He was afraid that Erlina would not like to hear the answer.
"Good then! With the popularity and achievements of the village girl does not know herself, it is not impossible that there are only a few people who hate her. Find out and bring that person in front of me right away!" His eyes looked at Jane's sinister.
Jane bowed her body and retreated from before Erlina.
"However, Arion must be with Davina. I'll do whatever I can to get rid of that country girl!" a sweet grin was imprinted on Erlina's lips.
...***...
"Sir, we're here." Aiden once again opened his voice. This time he dared to look back. Arion looked dreamy.
"Sir," inevitably Aiden touched Arion's knee, so that the man would wake up from his daydream. Since returning from Sekar's place, Arion has been more silent, like daydreaming about something.
"Aβahh," Arion's response. Without waiting for Aiden to open the door, he got out first.
Lucas immediately parks his car in Arion's garage, while the two enter the house.
"Sir, want to eat first or take a shower first?" Dini hurried over to Arion and Aiden, as soon as they opened the door of the house. The girl took Arion's briefcase and work coat. Don't forget to put that guy's shoes where they should be.
"How many times have I told you, don't call me that. It feels like I have a girl" Arion exasperated. "You'll be good at calling me 'Mas' at your house. Can't it just be like that?" continued.
Early scrunched his forehead. As the girl remembered, they had already talked about this. No matter how close their relationship is, Arion is still his master, and he does not want to cross the line. Considered family by Him alone is a gift that should be grateful. So, it feels very excessive if he had to call it that way.
"Only in front of Mbak***Specar****." Reminds him firmly. Hearing Sekar's name coming out of his sister's mouth, Arion's face turned cloudy. Early who noticed it immediately glanced at Aiden who was standing two steps behind Arion.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders.
