"Darling, where are you now? I want us to talk" said Alya. His voice sounded quite cold.

Darwin looked around him. She was inside the baby shop and it was impossible to tell Alya. Darwin didn't want Alya to be sad. The baby he had been so fond of since long ago had just been forced to be lifted because it did not develop. Darwin tried to keep Alya feeling.

"I was in Kayuagung" Mas Darwin said later.

"Meet me immediately at the riverside mosque!" alya said later and made Mas Darwin surprised.

"You're going to Kayuagung?" ask Darwin immediately.

"I'm already in this mosque. I'm waiting now." Alya ended the conversation.

Alya stepped down from the car. He slowly watched around the mosque and his steps came to a halt in front of the mosque's gate.

Alya and Darwin looked at each other. Alya tried to be patient. He knew it would not be easy for him to be accepted by Mas Darwin's mother. Because, from the beginning, Mas Darwin's mother did not like it. However, he tried to take the heart of his future mother-in-law.

Mom glanced at the box and asked, "What is this?"

"Pepes fish and pempek, ma'am," Alya replied and still with a smile. "It does not contain cholesterol. You can eat as much as you like."

"Buy it or do it yourself?" ask mom with arrogance.

"Make it yourself, ma'am," replied Mas Darwin immediately. "Alya is very good at cooking. Mom must have loved the taste of the cooking. Incredibly delicious" praised Mas Darwin.

"You think you want to eat it?" say mom immediately.

Alya and Mas Darwin fell silent. "Bring this food back!" said mother.

"Well, why, Mom?" ask Darwin.

"What did you put in here?" mother asked, looking at Alya's face. "Poisons?"

Alya was shocked. Meanwhile, Mas Darwin spontaneously said, "Mom, why do you say that? Alya's intentions are good, ma'am."

"I can't believe the killer's son. You could have poisoned me." Again Alya was so shocked to hear mother's words.

"Maybe you and your family have forgotten. Your father killed dozens of people, one of whom was my sister," said the mother loudly. "I'll remember it my whole life."

"Mom" said Mas Darwin, but mother continued to say. "You think I'd like to accept you as my son-in-law?" Alya's tears fell.

"I asked you here to tell you to stay away from my son."

"Mom, why do you say that?" Darwin tries to protect Alya from her mother's anger.

"If you have a little shame, you should leave right now from before me! Never set foot in my house again!" Mother's words sounded so loud.

Alya hiccupped and quickly got up from her seat. He rushed out of the house and Mas Darwin chased him.

Without feeling Alya's cheeks were already wet with tears. He woke up from his daydream and abandoned his intention to enter the courtyard of the mosque. Slowly he walked to the river. There is a cottage and not far from the cottage there is a row of stairs that lead down to the river water.

The wind was blowing very hard. As a result, the leaves of the trees fall in the wind. The river water became full of ripples and waves. It looks like it will soon rain. The sky had started to darken, but Alya paid no heed to it. The storm of feelings in his heart was much more intense and almost drove him crazy.

Then, suddenly, "Alya! Alya!" He heard the voice of Darwin calling him from a distance.

Darwin wanted to go to him. "Don't do anything crazy, Alya!" yell at Darwin.
