Chapter 7 His Worrying Look

Bryan looked anxiously at Donita who was about to enter the operating room. What if what he fears becomes reality. He lost the woman a second time. He even leaves Zoya to be with Donita. Then what if her lover dies on the operating table. Bryan was very afraid of losing her.

"I'll be fine, you don't have to worry, baby."

Bryan clasped Donita's hand tightly and Zoya looked at it with a faint heart. He tried to smile at Donita and strengthen her. However, no matter how much he tried, on the fact his heart was still very fragile.

"You should go back and we'll get married soon" Bryan said softly and kissed Donita's lips in front of Zoya.

"Mom Donita, come."

Two residents immediately took Donita to the operating room. As the door closes, Zoya's vision meets Bryan's. He could see the anxiety and worry in the eyes of the man he loved.

Zoya came out with a blank look. He still saw Bryan was there anxiously approaching. The various questions thrown by her made Zoya very depressed. He didn't know what to explain to the man. Whatever he says will hurt his heart. Zoya gathers her strength and looks Bryan in the eye.

"Bryan, Donita had heart failure during the operation and—"

"You're kidding, right? Donita can't die."

"Bryan, I'm sorry I couldn't save Donita. But we've tried everything we can.

"Doctor Bryan, watch your words. Don't say anything unnatural especially if you accuse me of being a no-no."

"Then would you say that everything is destiny? I can see how you look when you see Donita. You seem to want to pounce on him alive!" bryan shouted with excitement.

"I tell you the truth, I never intended or wanted my patient to die on the operating table. But if you can't accept what I'm saying, it's your right." He left Bryan because he was so tired.

Zoya who does not know should however choose silence. That caused everyone to think Bryan's words were true. The silence that has ruined his career since then. People who take videos participate in viral situations that are not in accordance with the facts. This makes Zoya blasphemed all out by netizens from all over Indonesia. They assume that Zoya should not exist in this world and that it is inappropriate to be a doctor.

Zoya opened her phone while she was in the room. He was shocked when a video of him spread widely and many netizens condemned and cursed him. Zoya held her phone tightly and desperately wanted to slam it, crying in the room. He didn't know why his life should be this quiet.

"Why Bryan can be the same I am God, why." sobs he could not be extinguished. Someone knocked on her room, Zoya immediately wiped away the tears and stopped her crying. He immediately told the man to come in.

"Sorry, Doctor Zoya, you're called to the surgeon's head's room."

"Thank you," he said.
