Chapter 6 Lara in Laughter

Zoya shows Donita a CT scan, and there is Bryan.

"Although transplantation is done, there is little chance that it will work. The comparison is not worth it. Chances of heart failure are 75% and success is only 25."

Hearing that Donita was very sad. Especially Bryan who looks to strengthen it. Zoya tries to hold back her feelings in order not to do anything beyond her expectations.

"You're the best heart surgeon, you can definitely save Donita, right?" bryan asked expectantly.

"Doctor Bryan, I'm just a human being. All forms of miracles only the creator can give them to those he will."

His words were enough to make Bryan pause for a moment. But now Donita seemed to cry hearing his condition. He begged Zoya to operate. At least the girl should try even though the percentage is very small.

"Doctor, I beg you, I really want this operation."

"Not that I don't want to help, but the failure isn't worth the success."

"Dok, I know, I believe that Doctor Zoya can definitely save me. I'm so tormented by this heart Doc. At least the doctor should try." asked Donita with a face.

Zoya took a deep breath, she stared fixedly at Donita. "I know how you feel, but I really can't do it. Excuse me!"

Seeing Zoya's attitude, Bryan immediately followed her into the room. The man appears to dislike Zoya's actions for giving up before the surgery. He believes that Donita can be operated with commensurate success. For her Zoya just needs to convince herself with this operation.

"Zoya, I beg you, please help Donita."

"Doctor Bryan, I really can't do it."

"Aren't you going to do it because I prefer him over you?" Bryan asks a cynical question that ignites Zoya's anger.

"I've always been professional, I see Donita as a patient not as an enemy."

Zoya sat down limply in her chair. He did not know how else to do so that they could understand. The surgery is very high-risk, not only to have Donita die, but it could also have ruined her career as a doctor.

Zoya eventually meets Donita and says she will perform the operation. The news made Donita very happy. He was very grateful to Zoya for fighting for him.

The day of operation began. Zoya goes into the operating room. Two sisters dressed in green OK uniforms, put on gloves and a mask. Surgical knives lined up neatly, Zoya took a slow breath and walked towards where Donita was lying and was already under the influence of total anesthesia.

"The patient is Donita, we're going to have heart transplant surgery, the surgery we have to do as much as possible. Are you guys ready?" ask Zoya.

"Ready, Doctor," answered them all.

"Surgical knife 10."

Zoya immediately performs a wedge on Donita's stomach. After the slices opened, his assistant immediately cleaned the blood using an absorbing cloth and the resident who was beside him sucked his blood using a tool.

In the middle of the surgical process, there was a great introduction that he did not know the source.

"Blood pressure is dropping" a nurse in charge of controlling the ECG machine told me.

"Prepare the blood, immediately!" Zoya's orders. He kept trying to stop the bleeding.

"Fabric gauze," said Zoya. two residents who accompanied him immediately took gauze to absorb the blood that kept coming out.

"I can't find out where the source is yet."
