SET DUSK
The Part 34

After Amai's departure, Ida tried to reorganize her heart, although the sadness was still not able to be fully resolved. He busied himself with the preparation of welcoming new family members, making him able to slightly forget all the regrets that were still left in the heart.

"Oh, what else do I have to prepare to give birth later?" Ida approached Isah buk who was busy sewing.

"You don't have to worry about that, Da. I've prepared for you. Here, I'm sewing diapers and octopuses for your son."

Buk Isah thrust some sheets of fabric folds that have been fitted with a strap at the end.

"Thank you, Buk. There are so many that I have sewed," said Ida with a bright face.

"Yes, I'll wash it first. You can keep it, Da."

"Yes, Buk. Thank you." Thank you."

Ida was moved by Isah's kindness. He is not a brother who has blood ties, but Isah's book is very attentive to him. The love he gave me was so sincere. Little by little Ida's hard heart began to soften.

"Why are you crying, Da?" ask Isah when Ida looks at him with wet eyes.

"He was moved by Ibuk's kindness" said Ida, rubbing her eyes.

"Haha ... What else can I do, Da. That's all I can do to make my life useful."

Ida just nodded assuring Isah buk.

"Da, today I want to make rendang rice [1]. You can help me this time."

"Yes, Buk" said Ida with a face full of enthusiasm, because since she was pregnant, bu Isah always drove her from the kitchen. He hurried to follow Isah to the kitchen.

"Burhan when will he come back, Da?" ask Isah who is making sugar dough in front of the furnace.

"It looks like tomorrow, Buk. Wh why? Not usually I ask?" Ida stopped her movement to sift the newly pounded flour Isah.

"Yesterday before leaving, Burhan asked me to make a fish gulai kincuang [2]."

"Oh, why didn't he ask me, Buk?"

"Because he doesn't want you to go down into the kitchen, he's sorry to see you so hard."

"Ah, why is he spoiling me so much" muttered Ida.

"Signs he loves you, Da," kekeh buk Isah.

Ida simply replied with a blushed face.

--------------°°°°°°°---------------

Counting the day before her delivery, Ida began to feel all the discomfort in her body. That morning at dawn, he went back to the bathroom. Once back in the room, Ida slightly grimaced because of the pain she felt.

"Why, Da?" burhan asked, waking up from his sleep.

"My stomach hurts" said Ida briefly, trying to regulate his breathing.

"I'll call Isah's book, yeah." Burhan got out of bed.

"No, I don't want to disturb Isah's rest" he forbade.

"Buk Isah used to wake up, try to call first," Burhan said regardless of Ida's ban.

After Burhan's death, the pain that Ida felt was getting worse. He refused because he could not bear the pain.

"Da, are you giving birth?" Buk Isah entered the room.

Ida was unable to answer, she fluttered in a prostrate position. Sweat flooded his forehead.

Burhan's face worried that seeing Ida unmoving, he approached his wife,

"Da, are you okay?"

Ida simply replied with a ringing, further immersing her face on the floor.

"You call Saroh, Han!" yell buk Isah.

"I'm ready for hot water first, you hold it for a second, Da."

"I'll accompany Ida while the hot water is ready, huh, Buk?" haggling Burhan on buk Isah.

"No need, you hurry to mak Saroh's house!" yell buk Isah while leaving the room.

Burhan stared worriedly at his wife, "Da, are you okay at staying alone?" tanyakanya.

Ida simply replied with a nod without changing her position.

Just when Burhan came with mak Saroh, buk Isah also entered the room carrying a basin filled with warm water. Deftly buk Isah drain the bed with pelt.

Ida budging. Burhan's worry grew when he saw Ida start to wail. Mak Saroh approached, rubbing Ida's back slowly. Ida felt her pain decrease, she started to be able to breathe well.

"Well, let's move to bed" asked mak Saroh.

Ida limped lifting her body up from prostration. Slowly he sat down on the edge of the bed, then returned to his body because of the pain he felt again.

"You wait outside, "go drive mak Saroh to Burhan.

Burhan stepped out of the room without refuting and then closed the door. Before long the voice of dawn reverberated. Burhan stepped down into the water chamber, washing his face with ablution water. The cold water that touched his skin, gave a hint of comfort in his heart.

Burhan performed the dawn prayer and prayed fervently. After the prayer, he returned to the front of the room. The door to the room is still closed.

Burhan tried to steal the conversation in the room by attaching his ear to the door. Only the sound of Isah and mak Saroh buk sounded like muttering, there was no sound of Ida, a tense feeling began to spread I his heart. He walked back and forth in the hallway, trying to calm himself down.

Meanwhile in the room, mak Saroh gently massaged Ida's back, her lips did not stop reading prayers.

"Mom, pain ..." groaned Ida, his breath back up.

"You think, so that the pain may be lessened" commanded the Lord Saroh.

Ida took a deep breath, the pain she felt the longer it felt to tear her body. Sweat is flooding in.

Outside the room, Burhan still tried to calm himself by walking back and forth in the hallway in front of the room. Before long, when he was at the end of the hall, the sound of crying babies could be heard breaking apart the morning which was still quiet.

Burhan rushed to the door, hoping it would be open for him, but as before, it was still tightly shut.

Burhan was knocking on the door.

"Oh, can I come in?" ask from outside the room.

"Attep, Han. You wait a minute, yes" said Isah's bugging her face from the half-closed door.

"My son was born? Ida how? " ask Burhan impatiently to see his wife and baby.

"Yes, thank God ... Man, you wait a minute, Ida is still cleaned mak Saroh."

"O-oh, well, Buk." Burhan leaned his body against the side wall of the room door.

Buk Isah then opened the door.

"Han, you come in."

In a hurry he entered the room, seeing Ida who was leaning weakly on the bed. Tiredness was clearly visible on his face. Beside him, a tiny body rubbed without a sound.

Burhan walked to the side of the bed, which was greeted with a faint smile by Ida.

" You give your son, Han," cried Isah.

Burhan's eyes turned on the tiny body wrapped in a long cloth beside Ida. Her plump red cheeks poked on the edge of the cloth that covered part of her head. Her little lips were tasting. His eyes are still tightly closed. Burhan looked in amazement at the newly-present little man into the world.

"Well, you do it." Mak Saroh moves the tiny baby into Burhan's hands.

Burhan stuttered, mak Saroh confirmed the position of Burhan's hand to hug the baby properly. He stared at the tiny face in his arms.

"Alhamdulillah ..." he said lirih.

After sacrificing the baby, Burhan handed the baby back into the hands of Saroh's mother.

"Then you bury your [3] brother son, Han," cried Isah.

"Yes buk." Burhan took the parcel placed in the basin from Isah's hand. Take him out of the room.

By the time Burhan returned to the room, he did not find Ida in the room. There is only Isah's book that is still busy cleaning the room.

"Where is it, Buk?"

"Medang diemandiin mak Saroh. You want to give me your son's name, Han?" ask Isah when she sees Burhan sitting next to her son, staring in amazement at the tiny creature.

"I have prepared the name Yasir for this baby," he said, turning with a face toward Isah buk.

"What a great name." Buk Isah smiled widely.
