Investigating Mr. Pasada

Today Zara plans to take the father for a walk, but he lost quickly to Papa Albert because the two men had planned this day for a walk first.

Finally Zara relented, the woman sat in the living room while checking an email from Rehan about the ITZ report.

While he was busy with his ipad, the woman heard the footsteps approaching him.

"Zara's."

Zara immediately turned her head, the woman was surprised to see who was in front of her.

"For Erlan, how are you?" Zara looked at him with suspicion.

Erlan smiled. "I'm good, thank you, Brother Zara. But it seems you're not so good. What's going on?"

Zara hesitates, not knowing how far Erlan knows Nathan's secret. Finally, he decided to dig up a little information, a sign of curiosity that felt increasingly strong, evocative of everything scattered into a neat mind. "You mean, about Nathan's job? What do you really know, Erlan?"

Erlan locked onto Zara's gaze, gulping down before speaking softly. “Sister Zara, I know how tense this situation is. But I repeat, I have no intention of hurting Nathan and this family. I just want to settle my grudges on the people who made my brother die in vain.”

Erlan's words sounded solemn, leaving Zara at a loss to take a stance.

“Thank you for your sincerity, Erlan. But really, I am confused by the current situation. What am I supposed to do? Nathan is still tight-lipped about his past, while I can sense something is lurking" said Zara.

“Give you a suggestion, Zara. Rest assured in the voice of your heart," Erlan spoke with a sympathetic look.

"Take good care of the situation, make a decision with a calm heart and mind, Zara" he continued.

Zara was silent, she looked at her sister-in-law in full search. As the woman was about to speak, Nathan and Jhon came along.

“Honey, I searched from earlier,” said Nathan by sitting next to his wife.

“I'm from here.” Zara shifted her body so that her husband would not be cramped.

Nathan looked at his twin brother and said, "Your mother said from today you will stay here."

Erlan nodded, the man refocused on his phone.

“Erlan, is there a problem?” Nathan throws a strange look at his brother, but Erlan chooses to ignore him.

Erlan finally looked at Nathan and said, “Nothing.”

“If you think so, but don't hesitate to talk if something bothers you.” Zara tries to liven up the atmosphere with various topics, trying to make Erlan feel comfortable in her new home.

Not long after, Meli and Jhon came to join after finishing their work. With a look of fatigue after a long day of work, he occupied the rest of the seats.

“How is it today?” Zara was the first to ask. Jhon who often travels, is always the most awaited news.

"Yes just like that" Jhon smiled tiredly. He grabbed Meli's hand and massaged her gently, making the woman close her eyes for a moment.

The night went on awkwardly. There was a different taste when Erlan was there. Zara felt that there was something hidden by her sister-in-law. He was trying to understand, but everything felt vague and difficult to understand. Feelings of alertness and fear arose, but he could not explain it.

The next days have not changed. The tension felt in the air increased with time. Meli was still moody and did not say much, and Jhon seemed busy with his work.

The silent atmosphere in their mansion broke when Erlan received a call. There was a rising sound, making everyone stop and pay attention.

Nathan looked at Erlan worriedly. As a twin brother, Nathan can sense if Erlan is in trouble.

"Nathan," Erlan whispered after finishing her call. "We need to talk."

That's when Zara's life changed drastically. Zara looked at Erlan with a look that questioned the situation. However, the man remained silent and did not give any hint. Feeling agitated and curious, Zara waited to hear what was happening.

After hearing what his twin said, Nathan leaves with Jhon, leaving Zara and Erlan in the living room. Zara looked at the back of her husband and assistant.

"Erlan what's going on?" Zara was curious which grew increasingly stirring in the heart.

Zara dropped down on the sofa and sighed softly with a face full of worry. Erlan sat opposite him, sadness and confusion covering the man's face.

“Erlan, is there anything you can tell us about the news you just got?” Zara finally took the courage to ask.

However, Erlan seemed to not understand. He shook his head slowly, showing that he did not know either. Meanwhile, Jhon and Nathan speak in Nathan's tightly shut study and sound isolation leaves nothing to be heard.

After a moment that felt like a long time, Nathan and Jhon came out of the study room with unreadable expressions. Nathan walked up to Zara who was sitting, his face pale with anxiety.

"Zara, we have to talk" Nathan said softly to his wife. Zara looked at her husband and gave him a sign that he was ready to hear any heavy news to be delivered.

Nathan took a deep breath and started talking, “Actually, there's something I've been hiding from all of you. When I first went into this business, I wasn't actually alone.”

Erlan looked surprised by his twin's confession.

"Then, what happened?" he asked with a clear tension in his voice.

"There were some moments where our family members were monitored and suspected. One of them is Diego, a man who has been working with Tama's father and is a member of the gang" Nathan continued in a bitter tone.

They were stunned to hear Nathan's confession. A moment of silence covered the room. Nathan slid his hand into Zara's palm drenched in sweat tightly.

"So what now?" zara asked with a trembling voice.

Nathan looked at Erlan right in the eyes. “The gang is getting dangerous and now they're looking for us. Erlan, they found your trail all the way here. They told me they were coming.”

Zara feels her world collapsing and panic starts to take hold of her mind. Nathan held his wife's hand tighter, trying to provide the support he could provide.

“So, what should we do? What will happen to all of us?” zara asked in a desperate voice.

Nathan looked down and bit his lip. "I've tried all sorts of ways to contact Diego and find out where they are, but to no avail. Our best option is now to evacuate before they come."

Nathan looked at the faces of his twin brothers and family in frustration, trying to calm his heart in order to think clearly and make the best decision.

"Wait for that Diego's brother to be a spy?" ask Zara.

Nathan nods his head, Diego accidentally tells him to go undercover in one of the gangs that will be looking for Erlan.

The man admitted that this is getting complicated, he only needs honesty from his twin who is behind everything that has happened so far.

Staring at Zara intensely, there was a sense of guilt. But he will finish all this.

"Honey, you should rest in the room" said Nathan because there will be discussed with Erlan and Jhon.

Zara, who understands, finally goes to the room, while Nathan invites Erlan and Jhon to get out of the mansion.

All three entered in one car, Jhon who drove the car at medium speed. There was only silence, Both Nathan and Erlan were both staring towards the window.

The car stopped at a simple house, but in front of him there were several sturdy men in front of the house.

Erlan stared intently at Jhon and Nathan. He did not expect that Jhon and his twin knew who he had been working with?

"I can explain all this," Erlan said in a choked voice.

"That old man took care of me," Erlan replied coldly.

Nathan stared intently at the twin and smiled faintly."Haven't you been told by Mama how you lost, Erlan!"

Jhon just silently looked at the two men whose faces were so similar that they were in a tense dispute.

"Do you know who that guy is?" nathan asked, looking so frustrated.

Erlan shook her head, it made Nathan rub his face violently.

"Master, we better find somewhere else to talk" Jhon said.

"We're looking for a cafe to coffee with, Jhon."

"Good, Sir."

Jhon immediately drove his car at a moderate speed, until they stopped at one of the cafes not far from his apartment.

The three of them sat in a cafe not far from Nathan's office. Jhon looks agitated, seeing two siblings who are fighting each other because of something related to their families.

Through the chair opposite him, Nathan and Erlan explain the story of Mr. Pasada, the figure who triggered their conflict.

"My father and I worked with him. But one day, Mr. Pasada betrayed them all, and reportedly he was involved in a dark business. From then on, their relationship was cut off" Nathan explained.

John watched his two brothers who were still talking. He felt the need to do something, find a solution so that the conflict did not drag on. John clenched his hands tightly.

"So what should we do now, sir?" ask Jhon.

Erlan sighed. "We have to find out what Mr. Pasada wants from Dad. Tama and Papa Albert. If we go to them and talk further, maybe we'll find the answer."

Nathan nodded. "I agree with Erlan. But we have to be careful, Jhon. We must not give Mr. Pasada a chance to destroy us all."

The next day, Tama and Albert were in the office, both sitting at their work desks facing each other.

"Tama, you know, don't you? About the man's presence?" albert asked with a worried face.

Tama took a long breath. "Yes, I know. Mr. Pasada has returned and is most likely seeking revenge on me for his son's death."

"We have to beat him, Tama. Before everyone we love is hurt" Albert said, clenching his hands.

At that moment, their office door opened, and Jhon with Nathan and Erlan walked into the office.

"What's wrong? Do you have any new discoveries?" ask Tama enthusiastically.

Erlan stepped forward. "Actually, we want to talk about Mr. Pasada. We spoke at the cafe yesterday, and we thought that we should try to figure out what Mr. Pasada wants from you both."

Hearing that, Tama and Albert's faces instantly changed. They knew very well that if Mr. Pasada managed to find what he was looking for, there would be many casualties. They have to work together, no matter how difficult and dangerous the journey may be.

"You're right, we have to figure out what we want. And we have to be prepared to deal with it" Tama said firmly.

Albert nodded. "But we have to be careful. Mr. Pasada is so crafty."

"In that case we have to involve Zara, Nathan. Your wife is how Mike used to be" Tama said.

Nathan was silent, the man seemed to object to what his in-laws had proposed. However, there's a point because Zara was the one with Mike.

Erlan saw her twin brother silent, which meant a lot of objection and asked, "We should ask Zara, do we agree or not?"

Hearing that Albert agreed because he could not decide everything by himself.

"I'll try to talk to Zara" Nathan replied.

"We should ask Zara, do we agree or not?" Erlan, a handsome-looking young man and his sharp eyes were staring at his twin brother, Albert, who looked agitated.

Nathan looked back at Erlan, trying to find calmness in his dark stare.

"Later I also try to talk to Zara," said Tama, who voiced lower.

That day a heavy matter seemed to hang over their heads. It permeates every fiber the way they talk and interact.

What seems like a trivial change in sibling dynamics could be signs of an upcoming storm.

Erlan and Nathan are similar to each other in many ways, but Albert has always believed in his two sons and is confident the matter will be resolved. Now he understands that Erlan is reckless, brave and spontaneous.

In Nathan's mansion, deep in the garden behind the mansion. Zara was staring at Erlan's dog, Snowy. The gentle sunlight through the trees and giving a holy-like effect on the beautiful face of Zara, the Tama daughter was now an inseparable part of the Albert family. His face was cheerful and full of innocence, reflecting his indifference to the dark matter inherent in the house.

Nathan came from behind the old brown door, watching Erlan and Albert quiet and focused.

"What's wrong?" nathan asked, his brows furrowing in confusion.

They just pointed towards Zara and Snowy. Nathan follows Erlan's sight and his papa is caught by the same sight they observed.

Zara laughed, running after the white-haired dog.

Nathan just understood what his brother and Papa were worried about.

Zara, her cheerfulness and happiness might turn into despair and sadness if they were.

"Is that okay?" nathan asked because Zara was religious.

"Zara can purify himself from the star's feces" said Tama.

Albert and Nathan also confirmed Tama's answer.

That night, after dinner, Nathan with Zara sat in the living room. He could see that there was worry and doubt on his face.

"Zara, can I talk to you for a second?" nathan asked softly.

Zara looked at him in wonder. "Sure, what's going on, Mom?"

With a deep breath, Nathan began to explain their situation.

Looking at Zara's face as Nathan spoke, it was harder than he had imagined.

Nathan tells his wife about Mike's parents, knowing this will open his wife's old wounds.

The usual bright and cheerful area of Zara is now dark, tears threatening at the end of her eyes. However, it does not drip. The woman clutched Nathan's hand." I don't want to be associated with Mr Pasada?"
