"Luvian?", asked Arlon in surprise. "You're sure his name is Luvian?", he confirmed again enthusiastically.
"Yes! I remember clearly it was his name. He left with 3 of his friends and I think he's the leader of the group. It is your face, nature and mannerisms that make me remember her", replied Hansel casually. Shocks are happening again. This time it feels tighter than before and makes the leaves on some trees fall.
"Let's go!", said Marvin, who had begun to worry about what happened next. His voice shook again and his face was pale.
"How is he doing? Is he safe? Is he hurt?", asked Arlon excitedly. He didn't talk about Marvin at all. His gaze was bright, like finding what he had been looking for all this time.
"Yes.. I know so.", answered Hansel confused because of the many questions given at once. Again the ground trembled, though the tremors were not as great as the first and second.
"Come, Ar!", said Marvin while pulling Arlon's hand to leave immediately. However, his efforts were in vain and Arlon was still silent in his place.
"You serious? Can you make sure he's not part of the trees here?", asked Arlon. He is hopeful now.
"I don't know. But it seems. no", replied Hansel guessing.
"Please make sure again, is he safe from here or is he stuck here?", Arlon's increasingly excited pinta.
"I don't know, I need time to find out" said Hansel who was also unsure of the answer he gave. Shocks again occurred, this time making the ground near their feet slightly cracked.
"Please make sure again! I will wait here!", said Arlon, insisting that Hansel would help him. He did not care about the ground cracks that occurred. To him, it was Hansel's answer that was much more meaningful now.
"You can't stay here longer. You guys should leave immediately. Everything will soon collapse!", said Hansel who so follow in panic because the bang was heard again. Some trees have started to fall and burn.
"I'll stay here until you give me an answer! Please make sure he is safe?", urged Arlon who still survives unmoved staring at Hansel. He made Hansel confused and uncomfortable.
"Ar, let's go!", persuaded Marvin who tried to pull Marvin away from the tree. He pulls Arlon's hand but Arlon always takes it off. "AR!", Marvin snapped while pulling Arlon's black shirt, making him stand facing Marvin. "We have to go!", continued Marvin more slowly but firmly.
"The cave will remain here until Hansel gives an answer! If you want to go, please go alone!", said Arlon whose face had turned red. It was clear between her being upset and wanting to cry. He does not look like usual, because Arlon is a person who is very rarely angry. This made Marvin very surprised.
"Sorry young man, I can't give any answer. Because I don't know. I only met once. And it took a long time to ascertain whether Mr. Luvi was here or not" Hansel said trying to mediate their conversation. Hearing Hansel's words, Arlon could only be speechless and bowed lethargic. He was upset and still could not accept what had happened.
The ground shook again and this time made their footing completely crack. The trees around them were falling. What still survives are large trunked trees like those of Hansel.
"Who is Ar? Who is Luvi?", asked Marvin who was resigned and exhausted.
"Luvian van DeGrass, he is my father" said Arlon calmly with a blank look. Marvin and Hansel could only fall silent. "She's probably the only family I have left. That's why I chose to leave the zoo. Because I have to find him!", he continued slowly.
"Once again I'm sorry young man, I can't help ascertain Mr. Luvi's condition. But the last time I met he told me which path he should choose. I'm sure he can guess the way right" Hansel said wisely.
"You go west, follow the ants, that's the right way" Hansel said hurriedly. The tremors occurred again, the tree on the left Hansel began to fall again and left 3 of them, including Hansel.
"I've chosen the west but there are no ants at all" said Arlon trying to return to reality. Suddenly the red meteor fell again near them. This time there was no smoke like before, but the meteor immediately let out a huge fire.
"You call the ants first and let him choose his way" said Hansel half-screaming because his voice had to clash with the surrounding voice. The wind carried the fire flying over some leaves of Hansel. The fire quickly spread to the branches and trunk. Arlon immediately pulled out his drinking water and rushed to flush the water towards the fire that hit Hansel.
However, his efforts were in vain, as the fire ignited the branches per branch, the stems per rod very quickly. But Arlon kept watering until the water ran out. The water business was no longer thought of, the important thing is that Hansel can survive.
"You can't just call it the number of ways we have to choose?", asked Marvin who began to give up on the instructions given Hansel. Marvin took out his bottle and did the same thing as Arlon.
"Nobody knows which way is right. Every day the streets will change according to the will of nature. Even Xeron does not know", said Hansel firmly. Now half his body was engulfed in flames. "Go you!"
"Let us try to put it out first!", said Arlon, who is now confused to find a way to save Hansel. He looked back and forth for what might have put out the fire, but he found nothing.
"That's it. Please go and I pray you can get out of this forest, like your father" Hansel said with a smile. His words calmed Arlon's heart and made her smile too. Now, he must be sure and believe that his father must be safe.
"Then how are you?", asked Marvin sadly.
"It's time I left. You can't do anything to help me" Hansel said. Arlon and Marvin try to accept the situation and stop looking for a way to keep Hansel safe. Plus they have to focus on avoiding the increasingly severe cracks under their feet. "You go now! And if you make it out of here, say my regards to Hairen, he's in the Cambora river."
"Well, Mr. Hansel. Thank you everyone and forgive us", said Arlon sadly had to lose such a good new friend. Their last memory with Hansel was a smile on the soothing face of a wise old man.
The fire quickly spread to Hansel. They start to move away and go wherever the foot wants to go. They continued to run away from the crack of the ground so as not to enter the bowels of the earth.
Arlon looked again at Hansel and now the wise old tree was completely burned. There's nothing left there. With a heavy heart, they continued their journey.
The vibrations from the bowels of the earth still continued to occur, making them have to be more careful. And Marvin accidentally stepped onto an already vulnerable surface. He slipped too. Quickly, Arlon, who was behind him, caught his hand.
"Don't move much! Don't let go!", said Arlon looking for a way to pull Marvin. This time, he did not want to lose his best friend again. The ground shook again, making Marvin more and more slumped.
"Regardless of Ar, gapapa.", said Marvin who had resigned. The hole under his foot was so dark that it was nowhere to be seen where the tip was.
"Let's go! Crazy huh! Gamau!", said Arlon annoyed. He is still trying to attract Marvin but he is tired of what happened today. Only a little energy left.
The thump gets louder and the vibration gets stronger. Arlon's grip deteriorated further and made himself almost fall. The weight of the Marvin backpack seems to make them continue to be pulled down. Suddenly, the red meteor fell near them and destroyed the ground there. The two of them eventually fell into a deep, dark and silent hole and either of them would come to an end.
