"Where are the mangoes from?" asked Elina when she found Adnan carrying a basin full of mangoes.
"From our tree, ma'am."
"When have you ever climbed a tree?"
"I didn't climb the tree."
"Want to?"
"Shanum."
"That's right. Women can climb trees."
"I'm not making it up, Mom. Shanum was very agile up and down the tree."
"It must have been his toy back in the village, you village girl."
"Where is it wrong if the girl is good at climbing trees? I salute him." Madam Arimbi who just came out of her room chimed in. He then directed his wheelchair closer to the dining room table.
"As a woman she should be able to maintain ethics and behavior. Climbing the tree is only appropriate for men."
"Although her nature is not like a princess, but her heart is kind and sincere" said Ms. Arimbi.
"Mom doesn't know her true nature yet. That girl is smart to look for face and slacker."
"If you don't like someone, anything they do will always go wrong in their eyes. So do you. You never liked that girl from the beginning, did you?"
"Why is this mom? I see Mom cares so much about that village girl. Is it because I can't give you a granddaughter?" protest of Miss Elina.
"Adnan, please peel the mango, then drive it to grandma's room."
"I'm not done talking, Mom."
Madam Arimbi did not pay attention to the mere words of the princess. He turned his wheelchair and pointed it towards the room.
Meanwhile Shanum who had just finished cleaning the back garden was seen entering the bathroom located near the kitchen.
"What amulets do you wear that make my mother and son like you so much?" ketus madam Elina.
"What amulet does Madam mean? I don't wear any amulets."
"For God's sake, what the Lady accuses me of is not true."
"No need to carry the name of God."
"My intention to work in this house is just to connect with life. Really, I have no other purpose, let alone want to win the hearts of the inhabitants of this house," Shanum said.
"God. What are you guys fussing about here?" adnan said he was returning the kitchen knife.
Madam Elina was reluctant to respond to that question. He walked out of the kitchen and into his room.
"What did you say?" ask Hanan.
"Ah, don't say anything, Mom. Madam just asked if I'd finished cleaning the back garden."
"But it seems your chatter is serious."
"Sorry, Mas. I'm going to take a shower first. I climbed up a tree and burned the trash in the back and got sweaty."
"All right." Adnan leaves her carefree kitchen while Shanum enters the bathroom.
Hanan decided to get out of his room because he was starting to feel hungry. When he came down the stairs, he passed Shanum who had just come out of the bathroom.
"Mas Hanan wants lunch? Let me prepare."
"Hmm." Hanan just muttered.
"I am very sorry for what Mas Hanan experienced. But believe me, with treatment and spirit, I believe Mas Hanan can be cured," Shanum said as he put a bowl of vegetables on the table."
"Yes, I want to pray Dzuhur first."
Hanan looked at Shanum's back that was moving away from his presence. He also started his lunch. Even though his appetite was not good, he still forced the food into his mouth.
Hanan had just finished his lunch when suddenly the sound of the chanting of the holy Quran from a room sounded. Unmistakably, the voice came from Shanum's room. Regardless of where the impulse came from, Hanan moved from the dining table and then approached the room. He quietly listened to the sweet voice of Shanum who was reciting the holy verses of the Qur'an until without realizing it the clear circles began to drip from the corner of his eyes.
"Is this disease a form of rebuke because the servant never again mentions Your name?" muttered.
