Chapter 39

"Sorry, Mom!" amira said when Ms. Diah just got home from work.

After what happened at the restaurant earlier, Amira decided to take a walk and let out all the tightness that was inside her chest before she finally returned home. Maybe he could go to the office and vent all his frustration with work, but he realized that it would only make him not focus on the work in front of him.

Ms. Diah who heard Amira's words could only take a deep breath and then exhale it slowly. Admitted or not, Ms. Diah is still very upset about what happened at the restaurant and she also still considers that Amira made a very big mistake by meeting Pk Ferry without her knowledge and also without her permission. Ms. Diah never intended to make Amira stay away from her father because after all she realized that the man who had hurt her was the father of her only daughter. But Ms. Diah wanted her daughter to have at least her first notice of her meeting with her father, unlike this afternoon who suddenly met without her knowledge.

"Mother has no right to forbid you from meeting him because after all he is your father and like it or not you are entitled to meet him and so does your father who has the right to meet you!" said Ms. Diah who took pains to suppress all the pain that was inside her and she also tried not to show the pain to Amira.

"What happened this afternoon was not what the man said and not what I was thinking right now!"

"Not like the guy said? What do you mean by saying that?"

Miss Diah was a little surprised when Amira did not call her ex-husband father, but with the words of the man. He thought there was something strange about the call that Amira said to her father, But he himself did not want to jump to conclusions too quickly because after all he was very sure that Amira must have his own reasons why to do it.

"I'm not apologizing to Mom for deciding to meet her without Mom's knowledge, but because I lied to Mom about something I should have said a few days ago!"

"What do you mean Amira? What have you done to make you say that? I'm pretty sure something must've happened and you didn't say that to me!"

Amira looked down weakly and then took her breath and exhaled slowly only to convince herself that she was ready to tell her what really happened to her mother. However, he cannot constantly lie to his mother about what is happening at school and whether he likes or dislikes his mother deserves to know about what has happened so far.

"Tell me what's been going on in your life for the past few days?" press Ms. Diah Yang was really curious about what really happened to her daughter and she really wanted her daughter to be honest about everything.

"I'm sorry, Mom, actually I was suspended from school a few days ago and I didn't have the courage to say that to Mom when I shouldn't have done that."

"On suspension? How-how long? What have you done to get the school to give you such punishment?

"I was discros for a week and there were still three days left and there were no cuts just because of the holidays and all that happened because I had a fight with Sisil even we were up to a jotos."

"Sand jotos? You are a woman, Amira, and mother also never taught to do violence to anyone around you, then why can you do that? What's the real problem that you're doing that close to your friend?"

"He's not my friend, Mom! She's just a magician who's always trying to mess with my life and she's someone who's never had a heart and feelings so it's been bullying me ever since I was a kid!"

"Bullymu? What's wrong with you that he did that? Did you ever tease him or did you ever do something that he didn't do to him so he did it?"

Ms. Diah fell silent when she heard what Amira had said to her just now. During this time she never thought about what would happen to her daughter because of her reluctant selfishness to write her ex-husband's name on the identity of her daughter. The pain so deep in his heart made him open and unable to think about what his daughter was going through.

"Since I was little they have bullied me and they have always called me an illegitimate child not even a few of them are reluctant to be friends with me just because I don't have a father. It's not just my friends who refuse to be friends with me, but their parents also forbid their children to be friends with me and even blatantly they call me an illegitimate child and look me one eye even though I have achievements as high as the sky!" said Amira who in the end revealed everything that had been quiet and without feeling tears began to fall down her cheeks.

Ms. Diah could only be speechless listening to what her daughter was saying because she could not say anything about what had happened in her daughter's life. He only realized at this time that what he had done a long time ago was a huge disaster for his daughter and he also realized that all this time he was too selfish and only thought about all the pain the one inside his chest without thinking about what would happen to his daughter.

"Throughout the years I have always tried for fools and never cared what they said, but how many days ago when Sisil said it again, I can't hold back my emotions anymore because in reality I'm not a bastard, but I am a child who has a father even though that one man does not deserve to be called a father because a father will never hurt the feelings of his child and also his wife and also will not so selfishly looking for another woman just for the reason of wanting a descendant!" Amira shed more tears as she remembered what Mr. Ferry had said earlier this afternoon and she could not accept the reason, however, even though the man forced her to understand everything anything is.

Ms. Diah began to shed her tears and there was regret so deep in her heart at this moment because of what she had done long ago. He occasionally wiped his wet cheeks with tears, but it did not make his cheeks dry as tears continued to wet his cheeks.

"I'm sorry, I'm too selfish and I never thought about how you felt and never thought about what would happen to you over a decision I took unilaterally. If only ever since the first Mother is not too selfish and still put your father's name on your identity, maybe things won't turn out the way they are today and you don't have to be bullied by your neighbors and friends!" said Ms. Diah who now began to sob feel all the pain felt by her daughter just because of what she had done in the past.

"I don't need to apologize to you right now because it will never do me any more good and I've been through everything and now I'm too used to it never even considered it too painful unless the words were said by Sisil because he not only regarded me as an illegitimate child but did something even more painful than that!"

"Of course, what happened to you was a mother's fault and I shouldn't be so selfish with you. I was hurt by what your father did to you in the past, but you shouldn't have to endure the pain just because of the pain you felt for that man!"

"No! Mother was never wrong with what she did and I would rather be called an illegitimate child than have to write the name of that selfless man on my identity because I think he never was it is worth calling as a father and even he does not deserve to know the truth!"

Ms. Diah stared fixedly at the direction and then stepped closer to her daughter and hugged her so tightly. Both of them were washed away in tears as well as in the same pain, something that they had been alone had finally spilled over and strengthened each other even though the real reality was now open and there were no secrets between them. But still what happened made Amira and also Bu Diah still feel so great pain and could not forget what had happened in the past.

"He was a very jerk and I never wanted to see him again and I never wanted to call him dad because I didn't think he deserved a call like that!" said Amira who is currently still in the arms of Bu Diah.

"You don't have to call him father and you don't have to see him again if you don't want to see him again! In fact, I don't mind if you want to get out of school and even if you want to go to school outside the city or abroad though, mother will grant it than you should feel all the pain as it is now!"

No, Ma'am, I will never show my weakness before that man because I want to make him really sorry for what he did to my mother and to me! Even I want to make that damn woman feel what you felt first and I promised Mom that she would definitely bow to her knees in front of you begging for forgiveness for what you already have done first!"

Ms. Diah took her arms off Amira's body when she heard what her daughter said because she was completely shocked by what Amira said after all.

"What are you going to do to them? I never taught you to take care of all the pain we've felt before and I never taught you to do anything that wasn't!" said Ms. Diah who just wanted to make sure if her daughter did not do something no-no, which in the end would only make her daughter regret for life.

"Mother never taught me to do that, but it's the laws of nature that will make them feel what we felt first!" amira said with confidence and also emphasis.
