Chapter 38
"She came with me and I hope you're not angry about it!" said someone who came from behind Bu Diah to make the woman and Amira look towards the source of the voice.
How shocked Amira and also Bu Diah when he saw Mr. Ferry was not far from them while walking towards the two, especially Amira. The girl had obviously been trying to avoid the man that Father should have called her, but she was too reluctant to say so because of the deep wounds on her heart. However, Amira has tried to escape from the man and even she is also reluctant to meet the man again, but now the man came back in front of him and he felt that what he had done earlier was something in vain.
If Amira was upset by what she saw at this time, then Miss Diah felt the same way as her daughter. But Ms Diah was not only a mistake to her ex-husband, but she was also upset with her daughter who she said had lied to her because this morning Amira said she was going to school. But now in fact she actually saw her daughter was in one of the restaurants along with her ex-husband.
"Why did you leave during school hours? Didn't Mom always tell you that you can't skip as long as you're healthy and there's no other interest?" bu Diah said as she looked towards Amira and she really hoped that her daughter would answer what she was asking honestly.
"He didn't skip, I asked permission from the school because after all I was his father and I had the right to ask permission from the school for Amira's absence at school today!" said Mr. Ferry who tried to protect Amira from the anger of his ex-wife even though he himself realized that he was lying at this time.
"I know that you are his real father and maybe you have the right to do that, but you have to remember that I you disappeared when you decided to have an affair with that selfless woman!" said Ms. Diah who now began to look sharply at her ex-husband and she really hoped that her husband's eyes did not interfere with the affairs between her and Amira.
"Whether you like it or not will not change the fact that I am his father and I have the right to Amira so that I can ask permission from his school so that he can not enter school today because there are some things we have to talk about!"
"I know you have the owner of the school, but that doesn't mean you can do such a thing as you please because after all here I am far more entitled to determine my daughter's future than yours!"
"Why do you feel that you have so much more right to decide what he can do and what he can't do? Is it because you raised him alone? Though you yourself must remember that it is your own choice because you choose to leave my life and you also choose not to tell me about your pregnancy!"
Ms. Diah smiled here after hearing what her ex-husband said. Ms. Diah thought that she would not return to face her selfish and stubborn ex-husband, but it turns out she was wrong because now she had to return to face the selfish nature and also often the head of her ex-husband. Looks like a new wife and circumstances do not make her ex-husband eliminate selfish and stubborn.
"A woman will never dare to leave a man if he has not made a very fatal mistake and you have made such a fatal mistake that I will never be able to forgive you the same once even to this day!"
Mr. Ferry wanted to say something when suddenly Amira kicked the table so hard that it made the two people who were arguing immediately look at Amira.
"You can only argue and bring up what has happened in the past when clearly it will never be able to improve even if you bring up the incident for thousands of times or even millions of times even though!" amira said after her parents stopped arguing and looked at her.
"Amira, sir, I'm just trying to explain what happened in the past to your mother and I'm just trying to get your mom to give me permission and rights so I can love you and take care of you as a father should!" said Mr. Ferry who is trying to provide a defense for what is happening between them at this time.
"I've told you, already, if you do not need to constantly provide a defense of what has happened in the past because all the defense that you say is only to cover the selfishness that You have done in the past!" amira said as she stared intently at Mr. Ferry and reminded the man about what he had said before. "I don't need your defense of my current whereabouts here even though the one thing that's true in this case is you dancing me forcibly so that you can talk to me!"
Ms. Diah who heard one reality from her daughter immediately looked at her ex-husband. She really did not think that her ex-husband would do something that she never imagined at all and even thought it was something too bold.
"This time I can still forgive you for what you did to my daughter, but next time I will never forgive you if you force my daughter to do something she doesn't want at all!" said Ms. Diah in an emphatic voice and she really hoped that her husband's eyes would listen to what he said.
"Amira is my daughter and I have the right to be with her and have the right to explain what has happened in the past and you have no right at all to prevent me from doing that!" said Mr. Ferry who did not want to lose with what was said by his ex-wife.
"Enough!" amira said in a very loud voice that made several pairs of eyes of the restaurant visitors look towards the three of them. "I have told you, there is no need to argue anymore about what has happened in the past because it will not change anything in the present life!"
After saying this, Amira immediately ran and left her parents. He was really tired of the drama shown by his parents and according to him what his parents did was something that did not deserve to be shown in public.
Between the two there is indeed a very painful story in the past, but that does not mean they have to bring up the story that is very painful in public places so as to make many people know their story. Besides, the, Amira is also really upset by the nature of Mr. Ferry who still continues to defend what he did in the past even though everyone also knows that he is the one who has been guilty of what happened to her domestic life with Bu Diah first.
"It's all about you and I will never forgive you if something bad happens to my daughter!" said Ms. Diah who then ran after Amira.
