"When I go home in the afternoon, buy me a rickshaw, yes" Kirana said as they were at the breakfast table.
"It seems like noon is not coming home. But then look at the schedule."
Kirana nodded in understanding. Tristan's job is a lot.
"Ruby?!" Mrs Ratih hoarded6 of their conversation. "Replicate again?" ask with eyes. "Sam's only been a month and a half, you know. Don't you think you should have a sister? You're gonna end caesar anyway. No pity on your stomach? You too, Tristan. Think about your wife's health. Don't think of yourself" she said.
"What the hell, Ma? Who is grilling too? Nyoba not yet." replied Tristan as if to reveal his heart.
Kirana just finished puerper. And he hasn't had the heart to touch his wife. Even though his desire has been stirred to be fulfilled. He still held on to delay it. Not the heart, that reason made him hold back.
"Kirain," replied Mrs Ratih at last.
Mentari who did not understand with the intention of talking two people just kept silent while staring alternately. Until Kirana reprimanded him to finish breakfast.
Kirana put the provisions into the Mentari bag. And also a full-filled bottle.
"Don't forget to eat it, dear." Kirana reminded Mentari as the boy kissed the back of her hand.
"Yes, Mother," said Mnetari and he entered the oak car ahead of his father.
"Just go ahead, baby." Tristan is peeping at Kirana.
"Hm. Careful, Mommy."
That's how Kirana is today. He had left all his busy life with the outside world. Devoting yourself completely to your husband. Being a mother who always has 24 hours every day for her children.
Kirana felt her life was perfect right now. Have a great husband and prioritize family. A cute child completes his happiness. He was also killed by good people who loved him. It's not hard to get to that point. Not a few tears that have been spilled, misunderstood to cause quarrel after quarrel, not even once twice the storm hit his marriage with Tristan just a moment. Not even a year. Their path still stretched far ahead.
She just always remembered her mother's message that every marriage was bound to be tested. Each couple will be tested differently. If Kirana could ask, she wanted the test she had gone through enough, and there were no more tests to come.
Kirana is chatting with her baby who has started to be invited to joke. Voicing with the mouth makes and moves his hands and feet. The ocean really made Kirana fall in love.
As he grew older, the face of the Ocean seemed to duplicate his father. The eyes of his nose, lips, even his face resembled Tristan. Kirana is just a seedling.
"Excuse me, Neng!" Bi Elis' voice distracted Kirana who was chatting with her son.
"Who, Bi?"
"No idea, Neng. Said his friend Neng Kirana. Men."
Kirana's forehead is wrinkled. Throughout his life Kiran rarely made friends with men. The only male friend who was close enough to him was Baraka. But it was impossible if he came without giving any news.
"Mama's eyes may be, Bi," Kirana said still not convinced.
"No, Neng. He wants to see Neng Kirana."
Kirana became curious. He asked Bi Elis to guard the Ocean. Because the baby will definitely whine if there is no one around him.
He also dragged a step into the living room. Although Kirana was actually reluctant to accept guests because she felt she did not know the person mentioned by Bi Elis. Especially at home there is only himself accompanied by his ART. Her mother-in-law and Nining had just left for a weekly shopping trip to the market ushered in by Mr. Cip.
The person sitting in the living room made Kirana aghast. That guy, what's he here for? Kirana.
His lips thinned as the man realized Kirana's arrival.
"Hi, Kirana? How are you?"
"good. You know I live here."
Ravi chuckles. "I'm finding out."
"I'm sorry, what's the matter, brother?"
Ravi laughed softly. "You don't have to be nervous, Na."
Sok close, it's like Ravi's attitude to Kirana since long ago. That's what makes Kirana not like. Ravi is almost perfect. He was handsome, smart, popular on campus at the time. Some girls have been on her date. Of course they are not ordinary girls. It must be that her beauty is very calculated. Perhaps Kirana was the only average-faced one that Ravi approached.
Kirana had no idea how successful Ravi was at the moment. But seeing a ride parked in the yard, seems to be a symbol of his success in a career.
"I want to talk to you for a minute." Ravi's words sound like a coercion.
"Sorry, I don't have much time. I have a baby."
"Oh, have you given birth? Congratulations, yes."
"Thank you."
Both are silent. Kirana deliberately threw away a face. Avoiding Ravi who kept staring at him.
"Na, I'm here to ask you something" Ravi said after a moment of silence.
"About what?" ask Kirana.
Ravi cleared slowly. "When we broke off our engagement."
Kirana. She had not heard of the breakup of their engagement. Although Nabila often came to visit the Ocean, but never mentioned about Ravi even once.
"This has something to do with you?"
Kirana. "What do you mean? You're accusing me of being the cause of your breakup? On what basis?" the reply was unacceptable.
"Then what's the reason for Nabila if it wasn't for you?"
Kirana gave a rough sigh. "I never said anything about you to Nabila!" Kirana's voice was rising.
"What's this?" A baritone voice sounded from the front door.
Tristan entered the house with a dislike gaze directed at Ravi.
"What do you need to do coming here?" ask Tristan.
"There's something I need to finish with Kirana."
"I'm her husband. If there's a problem with my wife, solve it with me."
But Ravi actually snatched the car keys that had been lying on the table.
"Other times we finish it ourselves. It has nothing to do with you."
"Other times I make sure you never see my wife again" Tristan replied firmly.
Ravi moved out of his seat. Leaving the place after saying his regards.
Tristan did not say good afternoon, which was just a stale word from the man. He breezed inside leaving Kirana who was closing the door.
"What is the unfinished matter between you?" tristan asked Kirana who had just followed him into the room.
Every time Tristan hears a voice that doesn't sound so cold, it reminds Kirana of the old Tristan. Tristan is hard to touch.
