67. The Conversation at the Dining Table

"Where don't you want a babymoon?" tristan asked as they prepared to go to the doctor to check on Kirana, who was seven months old. But before, Kirana had to come to the office because there was an important meeting that could not be left behind.

"No, Mas. Magers. Bring the body is hard."

Kirana gained 15 kilos. His body that was not how tall was growing rounder. Sometimes he feels insecure. If later after giving birth her body weight can not return to normal, whether her husband will still praise her.

No matter what your body shape is, you are still beautiful in my eyes. That sentence was just like an expression to comfort Kirana. To keep her happy during her pregnancy.

"Think what? Hmm?" Tristan hugged Kirana from behind. The woman also shook her head. He looked back at the mirror to tidy up his hood then locked it with a brooch.

"Come on! Mama and Mentari must have been waiting." Kirana picked up her bag that was lying on the table.

Since a month ago, Kirana no longer need to take care of Mentari every morning to go to school. They have hired an ART. Because Tristan could not bear to see the tired Kirana with all the joy every morning. Due to the health of Kirana and her sister-to-be, Mentari said. Assisted by Nining, their new ART to prepare for school needs.

They also still live in the main house at Kirana's request. He who understands the emptiness of his mother-in-law, asks Tristan to accompany Bu Ratih to spend his old age in the house.

"Today so check, Wi? asked Bu Ratih as they arrived at the dining table.

"So, Ma. But to Mas Tris' office first." Kirana pulls out a chair.

Mrs Ratih nodded in understanding. Then cleared slowly. "Actually Mama is curious about the second granddaughter of Mama later what girl is a boy. But if you want to make it a surprise when giving birth later, yes, no problem," said Kirana's mother-in-law.

"Starting is also curious," said the boy sitting next to Mrs Ratih.

"Papa too." Tristan.

Kirana looked at them in turn.

So far he has deliberately not wanted to know what gender his child candidate will be. Even she wanted to know directly at the time of giving birth later.

But this morning, the request of three people closest to him made him upset. Looking at Tristan's face. Her husband wanted a boy so much. Kirana is afraid to disappoint if the child she is carrying turns out to be a woman. Although Tristan has said it will not be a problem.

From his words, Kirana concluded that her mother-in-law's wishes were the same as Tristan's.

"But Mentari wants a girl, Oma." Mentari does not want to lose.

"We don't know yet, honey. Want his sister a girl or a boy, Mentari must remain a darling," said Mrs Ratih to her granddaughter.

They also stopped the conversation. Spend breakfast each as the clock continues to spin. Mentari must go to school immediately and Tristan is pursued by the meeting schedule.

Tristan took a wheelchair that he put in a shed for a few weeks because he didn't wear it anymore.

"Tok me a wheelchair, Mas?" ask Kirana wonder.

"Make you. Said you had a hard time carrying your body."

"No need, Mom. If you are still walking close, you can still. Only if you have to go out of town like you offered, not now. Next time if the baby is born," Kirana said and asked Tristan to return the wheelchair.

"Well, you can't date if you have a baby." Tristan grumbled as he carried the wheelchair back to the warehouse.

They also left together to take Mentari first to school. Then go to Tristan office which is further away if taken from the main house.

Along the way, Kirana took her eyes off the streets. Without talking to Tristan.

"Thinking of Mama's speech?" tristan asked, breaking the silence. Kirana nodded slowly.

"Not to be a burden, darling. My mother is not maksa. If you don't want to know now, waiting after birth isn't a problem."

Kirana is still silent. Because for her the problem is when the gender of her child will not match her husband's expectations.
